Beautiful location away from the hustle. Lots of birds and pretty views. The staff were very friendly and helpful.
Great tours at a reasonable price. Also, the staff helped us get extra cash in Puerto Nariño as we didn’t come with enough. There aren’t banks or ATM’s in Puerto Nariño. But we went to a supermercado in puerto nariño and they did a cash back service for us. We took out $500,000 pesos and they charged us $30,000 pesos for the transaction.
The staff also helped book our ferry back to Leticia for us.
The food was delicious. Lemonade was amazing. And the best coffee I’ve had in Colombia yet.
Our room and washroom were very basic and rustic. There were frogs, spiders, and lots of insects in the room, but the bug net over the bed did its job keeping us away from them at night. We went expecting that we would be essentially camping in the jungle so it wasn’t an issue for us.
My Spanish isn’t very good, but the staff was extremely patient and we were able to get by ok. I don’t know that I would recommend going if you don’t speak any Spanish.
The pick up at the dock in Mocogua was a little confusing, but in the end we got there ok. Just waited at the dock a little longer than expected.
The property is very secluded, and we had to rely on the staff to come and go, although they able accommodate all of our requests without any issues. We went in the dry season, so it seemed access was more complicated at this time of year.
The pool and cargo net they show in the pictures is not available for all guests. You have to book that specific room to enjoy those features. So the pictures in the property review are misleading.
Also, the properly information doesn’t mention that it is cash only. We didn’t plan for that.

Everything was perfect! The reserva is in a breathtaking place, literally in the middle of the Amazon rainforest, the cabin was comfortable and the food delicious..and there is always something to do, you never get bored! Do not worry..the staff will help you to schedule your activities 😉 Highly recommended!
Mosquitos are everywhere! Make sure to have a good mosquitos repellent🦟

Beautiful surroundings, very calm and relaxing stay, staff were lovely. Loved watching the birds and saw a couple of snakes. They had trips on offer, but we didn't do any.
The pictures seem out of date, the rooms were older and in need a bit of a repair. There was a lake to see but no sign of a pool. The bathroom was a bit shabby and not super clean. There is limited option with food. Breakfast, lunch and dinner at set hours, with a set option for food (buffet for lunch).

The views
They gabe us a tottaly different lodge, without any kind of view.

Helpful staff. Good breakfast. Incredible place just in the entry to the real jungle.
You have to check available boats. The Last one from Leticia is in the very early afternoon. If you miss it, then you are gone to go to this place as there is no other way to get to the place than boat.

it is remotely on the jungle of the Amazon bordering the Amazon River with the most spectacular sunset views. it’s green and lush. the property is well taken care of and there’s a lot of space in the common area. the staff are the best! they are super friendly, go out of their way for you, accommodating and genuinely very humble and kind beautiful people.
they don’t have fans in the room or a huge one in the living area where is hot and infested with mosquitos, but then again it could generate a lot of electricity. they have a treehouse that’s under maintenance for a while. a sofa or couch would be nice to have in the common dinning area for people to sit back and relax.

in the evening there is not much lightning, do bring a flashlight.

the most incredibly secluded spot in the jungle along the river, surrounded by nature and wildlife. Phenomenal place. Saw over 30 species of birds (including a baby toucan that came to visit) lots of monkeys and lots of dolphins.

This place is a hidden treasure and felt extremely lucky that we discovered it! It looks a lot more amazing than on the photos, very well maintained , at the edge of the jungle! It is for people who truly want something unique and not a standardised commercial experience. This place with their staff is a paradise:)Currently there are 7 houses with a huge common area which is a good spot for socializing, eating and hanging out. There is a small 280 inhabitant village just 10 minute walk from the Reserva and the staff is mainly from that village. All of them very respectful, warm hearted and hard working people. We felt super safe and taken care of all the time! Himenez is doing a great job as the manager of the spot. People coming from Europe (like me) should keep in mind that life is completely different here, still very pure and without the daily rush and craziness. We loved about house with the river view , allowed us to connect with nature. The beds are comfortable and the nets are in great condition! Don’t be afraid if you see some animal around - it is the jungle not the Hilton:) and I can assure you it is a lot better! You can book all the tours via the Reserva, the local people provide amazing activities like fishing, dolphin watching, monkey reserve visit, walk in the jungle (Mauro was our guide and he is soo knowledgable , highly recommend him) and so much more. Usually I don’t write to lengthy comments but this place and people deserve it! Wish we booked it for more days… oh, and the place has a lovely tukan who is like family there :)

A good place to visit a secondary jungle and enjoy some activities that can be arranged by the owner. This is the amazon, so expect flies, mosquitos and mud. A nice place to watch birds in the morning, even from inside the bungalow. It was close to an indigenous community, so it was nice walking through and learning how they actually live. The walk through the jungle was so much fun. Price was a good deal. Hammocks outside the bungalow were much fun. The stars looked specially clear from there. The owner provided help when required, like sharing his own internet signal, as there's almost no cell signal. And getting the transportation to leave the place. Recommended
A few things can be improved. The bungalow was very dark, even during the day. Some low power consumption led lights could improve this very easily. The boots lent could be newer or have more sizes available. A small mirror in the bathroom would be nice.

The property is about half an hour away from Puerto Narino and is one of the stops from the boats from Leticia to Puerto Narino. You will have to pay for transport to and from the hotel (£7 each way per person)
The excursions offered are well priced and convenient. You have to book lunch and/or dinner in advance - the portions are huge and the fish is delicious! (cooked on a wooden fire).
They also have two injured resident toucans, who are adorable. Bring lots of bug spray as you are in the amazon and they get viscous at night!
We stayed in a treehouse, which because of its height was cool enough to sleep in at night (there is no fan/ac), but obviously be prepared for bugs die to cracks in the walls and floors.
If you’re after creature comforts, it might be better to stay in a hotel in PN, as there are lots of restaurants etc around the town.
However, if you’re a backpacker and / or want to be in the heart of the amazon, this place is for you :)

- very nice location with nice views on the river
- garden with a lot of birds, plants etc. to observe
- good tours (some a bit expensive though)
- really nice staff/guides
- food was ok, but almost the same everyday and there are no other restaurants around
- Some people got sick, appearently a lot of people from the village next door, too (so it wasn't about the hostel)

I was short on some cash to get back to Leticia and Jamerson was happy to help out, definitely recommend a stay here!

Remote and off the grid but so much to do. A beautiful place to relax. The staff was very friendly and made sure that we had a great visit. The 2.5 hr jungle hike was the most that I had sweat since a college wrestling practice! Well worth it, though. Great tasting meals, too.

James is the best host ever this place its unbelievable. So many threes, plants, animals. I just hope we can come back one day, highly recomended. They have many activities, I hope next time we stay longer, just be aware you are in the amazon so, bring a lot of repelent and long sleves pants and tshirts, there are many bugs and mosquitos like everywhere else in the amazon.

Gardens are beautiful, lots of birdlife, pretty butterflies down by the jetty, couple of local squirrel monkeys were characters. Staff were very friendly, hot chocolate is amazing. The tour to Puerto narino and seeing the pink dolphins was the highlight for me.
The place feels like it's just been taken on by a new company maybe and they are working to improve the property as it does feel like it's been left to fall apart at the seems a little. The staff always seemed busy trying to improve the place. The manager was the only person that spoke english and he was only there for an hour when I arrived. The tours could do with being on paper in English so you know what you're getting.
3.5 / 5.0
The place is close to nature with a beautiful view of the river and the night sky. They organize multiple day trips and all excursions from leticia stop over the reserve for Lunch. The Victoria Lily and the food here is simply amazing
The rooms can be refurnished and can have better mosquito nets equipped. In winter or rainy season, the rooms become a bit messy with the water leaking.
