The location is really great, the pool view, the marina, this is what makes this hotel and the resort so fine.
Chill music by the pool, great food, coctails, the vibe. Super nice!
Our marina suite had so many problems. Where to start.
The bathroom: no hot water for the first 15 minutes.
The water cant go down, instead while you have a bath there is a toillet water running as they have some serious problems there.
The bathroom doors - dont work. They get stuck in the middle when you open and close.
The door lock stays in your hand when you open the door and falls out so you cant leave the room. 5 star - really...
The bathrobe my husband took had a dirty stuff, i took all the videos and pictures and went to the reception. I told them about the problems in our room, (no discount because we booked through bookin.com!)
They gave us a free parking - nice, but I wish that they took my remarks more serious. What I also didnt like is that you cant choose your sun bed or the place at the beach, everywhere you go and enter someone is checking up on you, you dont feel the freedom to move freely and feel relaxed as they are in some strict form and you do pay 600e per night.
The place is really nice, beautiful Italy, the pools, the view but it misses this relaxed energy and the rooms really need to be repeared in order to ask for the price that guests pay.

Beautifully decorated
Wonderful service from staff
The beach beds were awful - we spent over £2k for 2 nights in 2 rooms …this included 2 evening meals and drinks ….surely for that amount of money we could have been given a pool bed!!!

Super Publikum dort.
Es ist schon sehr teuer. Pro Tag 50.-€ Kaution für eventuelle ??? Beschädigungen?? Diebstahl??
Wusste ich beim Buchen nicht.

Poloha, vybavení a obsluha je geniální.
Ocenila bych u snídaně více čerstvé zeleniny a větší výběr tmavého pečiva.

Hotel is new nice facilities good breakfast but they have to fix and improve many procedures and services to reach and qualified as 5 stars hotel.
It's confusing the way to get to the hotel, parking is a hassle because the entrance is together with a public parking creating moments of waiting before entering. the hotel has a private beach but you have to pay to use it and they charge you a full day’s rate regardless of how long you stay and it is not cheap...

The room is very spacious as well as bathroom, it's nicely designed and the bed is very comfortable.
The beach expierence was very poor. Unprofessional staff, prices way too high for what you get. The beach club is marketed as a very luxurious experience, which ich absolutely not the case. No clear instructions from the staff, no towels, no way to safely store your personal belongings. It took an hour to get a sun bed (which by the way were dirty and broken) which was far from the bar, no service at the sun chairs so you walk up and down the long beach. The location is so great, too bad they are trying to be something they can't live up to.

Formally high quality standards are met, however, the hotel uses extensive fake information for advertising (see below). Also be aware that it is a very artificial strongly gated community. This place could be anywhere in the world and has no connection of any form to its environment. If you are looking for some Italian lifestyle or flair this isn't the place to go.
The hotel uses extensive fake information for advertising.
The hotel advertises its wellness and spa areas as well as its seaside pool. Pay attention, this is fake! The attractive indoor pool pictures belong to a pool which is NOT part of the hotel! (You can visit it as you could visit any other spa as any other guest at full costs.) The hotel wellness area is very small with no daylight and very few spaces. When asking at the lobby for it the message was basically: How could you expect us to actually provide what we are advertising?
Also the seaside pool was not available. When asking at the reception about it, the message was "tough luck" and they clicked several times on the booking site of their hotel to show a hidden note buried in the smallprint indicating that the pool is sometimes closed (unfortunately in our case throughout the whole week). Again, this pool is prominently used for advertising.
A number of other pictures, esp. of the outdoor restaurants, also do NOT belong to the hotel.
In off-season most of the offers of the gated community are closed or have marginal business hours. So there is not much to do besides staying in the hotel room of fleeing the location.

We stayed at the hotel for eight days, which were a perfect pleasure.
The great service, the varied breakfast, the luxurious room, and the wonderful location made our vacation one of the best we've experienced even in comparison to other luxury hotels in the world.
At the last night the hotel had a technical fault which created noises from the next room. When we call to reception - the staff immediately moved us to another room to allow us a comfortable night's sleep and in a way that would allow them to fix the problem the next day. This is an appreciable service. respect!

location
THE HOTEL IS NOT FOR CHILDREN.
In the only pool, children are constantly warned not to talk, not to laugh, not to swim. There are very few sunbeds on the beach and still no place for children. In the spa center you pay to enter and if you are with children you can only stay until 2 pm.
The hotel did nothing when I complained. DO NOT GO THERE WITH CHILDREN, they do not like children and constantly make a remark

Brilliant. Not only is this a very good hotel in a very nice place, but real hospitality needs a good staff. And the staff at Falisia was exceptional; from breakfast until late we felt welcome and had a very pleasant time.
I know that Portopiccolo may seem a bit lifeless to the average visitor, but we enjoyed the peace and quiet. The parking system is great; not everybody loves seeing hundreds of cars in tiny streets (see Amalfi coast).
We wanted to stay on our departure day at the beach club until the evening. Charging EUR 30,- / person for that is a bit steep in my opinion; we stayed nevertheless and enjoyed the beautiful day, still it felt a bit pricey for four hours in the sun.
The night light in the bathroom / toilet is a bit of a nuisance. Especially as the blinds that normally seperate the bathroom from the bedroom did not work in our room and therefore stayed open all night. We had to come up with some solution (put bag over the light) to dim and not have to sleep in a lit room. The hotel crew sadly was unable to help on short notice as there was a technical problem with the electrical system. They tried everything, but to no avail.
Maybe this could be solved by using motion detectors? Nobody needs a toilet light when lying in bed.
