The location is great. Kitchen has heaps of room. Lockers are big. Has a lift to upper floors.
There was no where to hang my towel. There was no where near the bunk to plug in appliances. The sheets were disposables.

I had to wait some time for the dryer to be available

This is such a well-designed hostel! The bunk beds are comfortable, stable, and with curtains that provide a lot of privacy. The big kitchen is well-equipped, and everything is fastidiously clean. The facilities are handicapped-accessible, so everything is spacious and comfortable to use. The staff are friendly and happy to help, very responsive to messages -- thank you, Aure! I was happy to extend my stay here to a week when my travel plans changed.

Honestly, after walking from Fisterra to Muxia it was the best place to be! The beds have curtains, so you have privacy in your bunk bed. The showers are big and spacious, and our room had their own bathroom, so it was amazing. Each bed has its own storage space, and an extra blanket and towel if needed. I stayed in many places on my trip to Santiago, but this definitely makes the top 3, probably even taking the #1 spot. The owner messaged me before, so the check in process was super easy, which I was super thankful for! Thank you!

Hezké čisté albergue s velikou kuchyní, přímo u poutnické cesty.

Very clean, great location, very friendly and helpful hospadalero
Bit too big for my liking, over multiple floors although lift was efficient, limited room for drying clothes based on size of albergue, too bunks difficult to get in and out of due to steps arrangement

De ligging
Het toilet op de slaapzaal met een lage deur en schuin plafond.

Sarah at the front desk was really helpful and friendly.
Snoring pilgrims.. they should have their own special rooms cause when you have 3-4 snoring folks it’s like listening to a orchestra that you don’t like .
In a way I feel sorry for snoring folks and I hope I never take up the habit and at 66 it could happen I guess

What a wonderful place to stay. It is so well run and nothing was too much trouble. The dormitories were of a good size and each bunk had privacy curtains, light and socket. The toilets/showers were far enough away so as not to cause any major disturbance. All the facilities were clean and well maintained. Comfortable area by the entrance to relax and a good sized kitchen for the use of guests, with a fair bit of seating etc. Great location just back from the 'front road' of Muxia. Loved it and you will too.

Central location in Muxia. Information sent prior to check in by Aure was very informative and helpful. You were able to get a Muxiana certificate printed at the alburgue. The bathrooms were very spacious and I was impressed that it was fully adaptive for disabled pilgrims. Laundry drying facilities on the roof and there was a lift! Proper towels!
I was in a top bunk and personally felt that the stair access from the head of the bunk wasn't easy in the respect of getting in and out of the bunk and also making up your bed for the night.

We liked everything - the location (center and close to the pilgrim's office), the staff, the cleanliness, proximity to a supermarket, awesome kitchen with full equipement. Our room was huge, really nicely decorated with comfortable furniture. We had a nice private bathroom. There were blackout curtains which were cool. On the upperfloor there is a terrace with great view. There is an elevator and a washing machine plus dryer. We really enjoyed this albergue.
Maybe we were lacking a cosy common space when the kitchen had to be closed for cleaning.

Amazing host and place!!!!
4.5
Nice sturdy beds, comfortable stairs to reach the top bunk, curtain for some privacy
No individual light for top beds, not as much privacy for top beds as the curtain only covers one side (bottom beds are more convenient)

Our room on the top floor of the albergue was large with a comfortable seating area. The window had views of the city and sea. The bathroom was large with all the conveniences we wanted. There is a large kitchen on the main floor with everything we needed to make a meal and store food. There are laundry facilities and clothes lines on the terrace to dry clothes. Great location and a host who is very accommodating and helpful. Highly recommended!
