Beautiful terrace, walking distance to downtown Volosko

We loved staying in Volosko. Villa Martina was located within easy walking distance to restaurants, market, cafes, the water front etc. The apartment was very clean and had a beautiful terrace overlooking the sea. The bed was super comfortable and the kitchen was well stocked with dishes, pots, pans etc. We had driven and were offered a spot in the garage. The host was very friendly and kind, and even offered us beer on our arrival!

The Villa was located on a very busy intersection. We were not expecting the street noise and crossing the street on foot to walk downtown was a bit precarious. We appreciated the parking spot in the garage, but access arriving and leaving was complicated since it was right on the busy street intersection. The host didn't speak English as was advertised on the website, (and we didn't speak German or Croatian), so communicating was difficult.

Superb

I stayed in Villa Martina 2nd time, this is the clean and cosy apartments with a stunning view from the balcony, around 5 min walk to the beach. Not so far away from Opatija centre. The owner is very welcoming I highly recommend this villa.

Great week!

Perfect accommodation for a week long stay. The apartment was big and functional, the kitchen had everything you needed, even a dishwasher. A lovely view of the sea from the balcony. Extra points for a good bed that is longer than normal. Bus stop just around the corner, so it's easy to get around without a car. Even when moving on foot, the location is good. The hostess, Cvetka, was lovely even though she didn't speak English and we didn't speak German.

Traffic noise can disturb a sensitive person's sleep.

Amazing vacation

Amazing location and the host. We loved breakfasts at the balcony with the view on the Adriatic Sea.

We loved the liveliness of the location which may not be everyone’s cup of tea.

Lovely little guesthouse with sea view

The owner is super lovely and welcoming - even offered us a nice cold beer on arrival :) location is perfect as most restaurants and the harbour are just a few minutes down the road.

Absolutely amazing, highly recommended!

Everything was excellent, from the location (important due to business event nearby) to the room view (gorgeous sea view), cleanliness, amenities (water heater, toaster, fridge...), beautiful garden and a lovely friendly hostess which offered us a great cup of coffee on our way out - amazing hospitality! Beds were firm and comfortable, pillows nicely soft but they didn't lose their shape (like most feather pillows tend to do). We used air-conditioning to warm up the room a bit when we arrived, and that worked great. Definitely would recommend, and will most quite possibly stay here again in the future.

Everything. Nice villa with a spacy and comfy room with a small balcony where we used to have a breakfast with a sea view. The sea with a sandy bottom is in 5 min walk. Strategic position if traveling by car and free parking nearby with free slots (no problems of finding them during 6 days). The host is extremely nice and frinedly. As well as her Maine Coon :-) Will be happy to return one day! Thank you!

Exceptional

The host is very pleasant and hospitable. Villa is settled in Volosko (old town of Opatija city) and it's beautiful and close to the city center of Opatija (bus stop is next to the villa). Also, the beaches are near villa and they are very clean. Therefore, our trip was enjoyable and fulfilled. All recommendations! :))

Very good

Accommodation and location are a complete on spot. The accommodation is excellent, and better than in the picture. The location is 5 minutes from the beautiful and peaceful beach as the market also. The host was quite rude, even more so she spoke very rudely and greeted us. The disadvantage is that there is no kitchen in the room and they do not allow the stove to be brought.

The apartment is in a very lovely location with amazing sea-view in the edge of the town. Many restaurants are nearby.

The city centre is 20 minutes by walk.

The hosts were so lovely and hospitable, they picked us up from the bus stop and helped with our washing. It was such a lovely property to stay in and we loved the quieter surroundings then the main centre.

It was a little noisy sleeping as you are on a main road, but it wasn’t a big issue for us.
