The location was in the heart of Settle with all the shops & bars a stones throw away, a well equipped and managed apartment. Excellent communication from John the host.
The view from the window was not the best.

No real problems

Lovely accommodation in a beautiful area. Hosts were very friendly and helpful and the complimentary wine and cookies were a bonus.
4.7
Great location, well equipped and comfortable.
Fair price.
Bit tatty considering it is described as luxury accommodation, need a bit of attention, especially the bathroom and the bedroom carpet was filthy. Ventilation a bit lacking in bedroom.

Location. Gave us a chance to relax after day out. More than enough storage space. Crockery and utensils very good. It was quiet.
Thanks for wine and cookies
Staircase a bit on the narrow side.

Staying in this place was a special experience - great vibes all around, very welcoming, clean, comfortable and gloriously beautiful. The hosts went out of their way to make us comfortable - the property itself was very characterful, spacious and tastefully decorated. A perfect place to stay.
Nothing at all.

Very spacious and comfortable and well supplied. Handy to everything in the village and very quiet off the main thoroughfare.
Very small shower - not much room to move
4.7
Central location. Cleanliness. Good value.
Main sash window wouldn’t open and the apartment got quite stuffy in the hot weather. No ice box in the fridge which would have been nice.
4.7
Gorgeous open plan apartment, perfect location in the middle of settle, pub opposite and good food in the area, value for money!
Only thing to comment would be to have more towels available in the apartment as we forgot to bring ours with us.

Fantastic location and well equipped v spacious accommodation
4.7
the location and the actual property itself is perfect

I loved the apartment, it had all the appliances I needed. Before arrival the owner made sure I had all the details I needed for my stay. When I turned up I was blown away with how the apartment looked and how clean it was.

a great location with everything we needed for a long weekend
nothing - all great

Location. Open aspect of accomodation with bedroom integrated with lounge/kitchen as one big space.
Gaining access to property, could take 5 or 6 inputs of code because locking mechanism sticks. Not nice when it is raining. Strong smell on bedding and towels that was over powering for both of us. We struggled with the smell at night. It was the washing product used but it was too intense. The shower hose was useable but broken, the outer metal bit was detached and inner plastic hose visible. There were several cobwebs on beams and under the log burner. The toilet seat did not fit the style of toilet, though this wasn't a problem in use. On stripping the bed at the end of the stay, I discovered a dish cloth under the fitted sheet, it looked clean and probably just attached during cleaning process. No freezer compartment in fridge, but we coped.

Thank you to John for a great stay. Hayloft 1 was a lovely cosy appartment and a great base for exploring the local area.

Very comfortable and convenient for the centre of Settle yet still very quiet
Nothing.

Lovely accommodation, peaceful and delightful!

The apartment was perfect! It was beautiful, spacious and really well-equipped. Although we ate out in the evenings, it was great to have the kitchen to be able to make breakfasts and packed lunches before setting off walking. It was located right in the middle of Settle - opposite a fantastic pub which we ate at twice! Although there is no parking on site, there is a car park less than 5 mins walk away which had plenty of spaces. The communication from John, the host, was excellent - really clear instructions about check-in, location, parking, covid measures in place etc prior to arrival and a message during the stay to check everything was ok. We loved our stay here - it was the perfect base for walking the Yorkshire 3 peaks and then returning to and enjoying the log burner! Highly recommended!

The property was lovely and great value for money. Communication was great so knew what to do when we arrived and leave.
Very centrally located.
Loved everything about the property the only thing that could be improved would be to have a floor length mirror.
4.7
Very central location in Settle, easy access to restaurants, pubs, shopping and station. No on-site parking although we knew this beforehand. Good supply of hot water and good to have towels changed midweek.
Only three coffee mugs, dinner plates and cereal/ pasta/ rice bowls which meant for two people you had to wash up before having another coffee/tea or a meal. Light over cooker did not work. Rusting shower hose. Broken chair. Two clocks neither of which worked. Flickering ceiling light in bedroom so could not use lights. Bathroom basin took ages to empty and needs de-clogging. Dimmer switch missing control knob. Electric hob needs a good clean. Their website said, at the time of booking, that everything was new, and had been inspected and approved by Alistair Sawday. This considerably influenced our decision to make a booking but both statements were not true. It was new 6 years ago, and they were with Alistair Sawday, but not since 2017; very misleading.
