My choice of GH in Gyeongju was successful.

I could enjoy staying this GH. Main reason may be that I could meet and enjoy talking with some friendly people. GH has a such room. Breakfast and free drink sercice was good.

Not serious. But I have to wait for a few hours before checking in and confirmig my bed , as the owner was busy for her outside works.

Nice place

The location is great close to Tombs and Palace.Only 2 minutes walk from bus stop to the New train station.The landlady very polite,she left me check out late so i didn't have to carry all my belongings all day. There are sufficient toilets and showers.

Localisation parfaite dans Gyeongju, mais pas un confort optimal

La localisation est parfaite dans Gyeongju, proche du bus terminal, proche des lieux d'intérêts de la ville. Tout est propre et grand espace de vie commune.

Il n'y a pas de douche individuelle, c'est contraignant.

아침에 토스트 정말 좋았어요 계란이랑 딸기잼 너무 좋아요 예쁜 강아지가 만겨주어서 좋았어요 사장님이 너무 친정하시고 시설이 깨끗헤요 다음에 경주 갈일 있으면 꼭 다시한번 숙박 할 것에요

골목길에 있어 조금 찾기가 힘들었지만 이정표가 잘 되어 있고 사장님에 친절하게 문자로 알려주셔서 찾기 어렵지 않았어요 저희는 밤 늦게 입실해서 숙면을 하시는 분께 조금 죄송했어요 만약 개구쟁이 초딩 아들과 함께 밤 12시 넘어 입실 하시면 조금 미안할 것 같아요

Enjoyable stay

Enjoyed the location, the owner/woman was so nice (not a lot of English, but she could understand and was so kind! Liked the breakfast and that the place was big (some places in Korea are tiny).

Hated the communal shower so just because of this, would probably not go back :,(

Es hat uns sehr gefallen, wir würden hier sofort wieder buchen wenn wir noch mal in der Gegend sind.

Die Gastgeberin war außergewöhnlich freundlich, zuvorkommend und hilfsbereit. Die Unterkunft hat einen riesigen und sehr bequemen aufenthaltsraum. So, dass man direkt mit den anderen Hostel Gesten und der Gastgeberin in's Gespräch kommt. Wir haben uns hier wirklich sehr wohl gefühlt.

Did you make any friends at friend's?

I really liked the owner lady, she was very responsive about whatever I asked. Also, the location is a plus plus to be in the heart of the city. Everything is like walkaway.

Umm, maybe the men's washroom facility. As it was a common washroom so one person inside (if not like guys showering around) would shut away the door and someone waiting out might have to wait for long.

Very nice clean guesthouse in a great location, very clean and the staff were very friendly. Shop right next door.

The beds were a little hard and the pillow was low which hurt my back but the bed was very clean

A fantastic stay

A fantastic experience! I ended up staying for 5 nights here. The owner went well beyond requirements to make sure my stay was a good one. Very sweet and helpful despite not speaking much English (and my Korean being crap). The place is very clean and comfortable, good AC, good common area, excellent breakfast and very friendly and laid- back in general. I prefer to stay in places frequented more by local tourists than international ones and this place was perfect in that sense. No boring and hackneyed backpacking stories, just good insight into Korean culture from other guests. I've been lucky enough to be able to explore much of Asia at a snail's pace and this hostel was a top experience for me. Thanks for your kindness and hospitality! As for the town, there are some great things to see, most of all the. National Museum, the park with the tombs and the temple outside town. Also a great small 2 building museum in a park near the hostel which goes into detail on how the tombs were built. The hanok part of town I found a bit disappointing, mainly due to overcrowding and a theme park like feel to it- I much preferred the one in Jeonju to Gyeongju but enjoyed Gyeongju overall and, obviously, the guest house!

Nothing, some may be put off by the group showers but I didn't care about it.

Good location, plenty of shops/restaurants close by. Breakfast provided and rooms were very spacious. Cutest dog, Cotton candy also made our stay sooo worthwhile!!

Not much of a lounging common area, only dining areas joined on to kitchen. My friend and I requested to change room via messenger while staying at the property but didn’t receive a response, communication could have been better.

Really comfy beds, everything was very clean (shower, bathroom, dorm, common area etc), the lady running the place is very nice and her little dog was an extra treat as well! Great to have eggs available for breakfast.

Nice and comfy, well attended stay

The landlady was so nice to us! She provided everything we needed and even gave us nice recommendations on what to do, where to go and how to get to places... Breakfast was also really nice, they provided juice, coffee and tea, cream soup, toasts with strawberry jam and eggs.

Nice hostel, but Korean language skills are really appreciated!

I really liked the hostel, it was clean and it had everything that a traveler needs: towel, shampoo, etc. There is a very nice hang out area and a big kitchen. The location is simply perfect.

The bathroom is shared - basically there are 4 showers in the bathroom, which can be used by more people. I'd install some kind of curtains to make some privacy for people. Payment on site can be made by cash only - this should be shared beforehand, as people might want to pay for the accommodation in advance. The reception doesn't work non-stop: the owner was sometimes there, sometimes not. The hours of operation should be defined, as I needed to wait for 1 hour to give something to the owner.

Cheap and clean, central location. Great if you are just a day or two

The Hostel was nice and the position was really central. Overall it was super clean and well organized. However it did not strike me as the type of hostel to socialize and find people in, so not the best for solo travelers

The owners don't really speak english so we struggled to understand each others. Furthermore I did not find any other guest that could speak english and/or wanted to socialize. Perhaps Gyeongu is too small of a place for that

such an amazing place! the hostel is right in the city center, next to stores, restaurants, supermarkets and also the traditional sites and the bus stop. the owners are incredibly friendly and have a lovely little dog too! the rooms and bathrooms are clean.
