Great location in Olón. Delicious full breakfast served daily on the terrace.

The location was close to the beach
The managers were rarely around

The owner was super helpful and accommodating.
Breakfast was limited and when items were finished there was no refill.
3.5
Nice common areas to hang out in and water/tea/coffee always available.
The breakfast had a good range and we were able to order eggs in whatever style we wanted. Really appreciated the fresh fruit.
Very well located, close to the bus station and a short walk to the beach.
The manner of the staff. When we arrived there was no one at reception, and when they did arrive it was a very lukewarm reception. We found this throughout our stay - everyone seemed a little listless.
Security was a bit more of a concern - you are given a fob when you check in, but the door wasn’t locked once in our whole stay, including in the evening. This is particularly concerning as there often is no one at reception. Furthermore, the safety deposit box in the room is very small - fine for money and passports, but nothing else.
Room was fine, but everything felt a little tired and in need of repair. Our toilet didn’t flush very well and it leaked a little at the side. Some of the skirting boards were coming off.

We did not stay at the hotel. I was told that the reservation was cancelled and the two rooms that I reserved were given to someone else. Was my credit card charged? It should not have been.

Shower has hot water and high pressure, close to the bus terminal
At no point did the staff ever seem to want to be there. Reception is almost always vacant, and very little is communicated to guests about their stay. The breakfast that everyone talks so highly about was a let down. They put out a couple pieces of bread that are not replenished if other guests take them all, and they don't know how to make coffee. The instant coffee I had on the beach was better. Cleaning was done halfhazardly, leaving behind obvious trash and leaving on side of the bed unswept. I knew up-front that check-in was at 3, but we couldn't even check in a mere 30 minutes early despite our room being free. The staff was just loafing around rather than doing the bare minimum to make their new guests feel welcomed. The design of the hotel itself is very crammed with steep steps. Due to being crammed there isn't a single room that is immune to the sound of screaming children in the pool within. Despite multiple attempts we were never even able to receive a receipt for our stay. To top it off, after one time that the staff entered to clean our room a valuable article of clothing disappeared. With all that said, would you really want to stay here? There's cheaper and better options in Olón.

Our room had lots of hooks for hanging clothes/bags. It had two windows, so we could get a nice breeze blowing through. We didn’t use the air conditioner at all. The hotel was in a good location, away from noise and an easy walk to the beach, restaurants, and the main highway to catch a taxi or bus. The breakfast was great, with lots of fresh fruit, French-press coffee, and eggs cooked to order. There were plenty of common areas. The hotel is very secure, with a high fence around, fob entry, and always someone at/near the entrance. It was great to have a safe in the room.
You have to wait a long time for the hot water to arrive in the shower. Three mornings we had none and had to let the staff know that they needed to change the gas tank. Makes for a bit of a delay when you’re a person who showers in the mornings.
The payment information needs to be changed on booking.com and in the confirmation email, as both clearly stated that the hotel accepts credit cards. It’s a bit of a problem when you arrive and are told you can only pay in cash. We like to travel with as little cash as possible, so we generally try to book places that accept credit cards when we’re staying a week or more. The hotel did eventually agree to accept PayPal payment from us.
Booking.com says the hotel provides lunch and supper for a small extra cost. That’s also not accurate. We asked about it and were told the hotel doesn’t do that.
The lounging chairs by the pool should be cleaned regularly or at least every morning. We cleaned them ourselves when we wanted to use them.

HORRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE!!! I traveled to Olon with my elderly parents and my Mother needed assistance with wheelchair access and there were none especially at night when we returned from the beach. There was no designated parking for the disabled. I rang the doorbell for help at the front desk and THERE WAS NO ONE, ABSOLUTELY NO ONE to help me!!! I COULDN'T BELIEVE IT!!. And to top it off, there was a badly parked car that was taking two spaces and I had to go personally from room to room to find who the owner was and move the car so that we could park nearby and be able to take my Mother in her wheelchair to the hotel ... It was SO horrible experience. I am very sorry, but I am very disappointed and I dare not recommend this hotel to ANYONE.

Too expensive for the value
Rooms need renovation
On my opinion hotel looks better on photos than on real life.
Also, on photos pool looks big, but in real life it is very small.
Wi-Fi signal was weak in our room.
Breakfast was not bad, but... flies flew and boarded fruit. Terrace, where people take breakfast, is the place with nice view, but too hot there even in the morning.
I expected more from hotel with 9.2 rating and highest price in town (75$ per night).
My overall impression is - it was not bad, but could be much better. I felt not fully comfortable there. But this is only my impression - maybe you will be more lucky.

Breakfast was great, bottomless cup of coffee, fresh squeezed juice, eggs cooked to order, lots of fresh veggies, sautéed veggies on occasion, fresh buns & pastries. Also like refrigerator & coffee maker in the room.
Pool should have been cleaned daily, especially when the hotel was full on busy weekends!
