The wildness and solitude of the location was fantastic. The staff member Koi is the heart and soul of Wild Padir Punjang. The animals ducks, dogs and cats are delightful and Koi takes excellent care of the guests and animals.
There could have been a little bit more options for food and drink.

Beautiful setting and our beachside bungalow was perfect. Had everything we could need and the most friendly and welcoming hosts imaginable.
Koi is amazing and her food is spectacular!

the territory is totally isolated and wild, so it is nice to feel real jungle vibe. nice kitchen area with board games and drinks.
the owner said, that it is possible to come with shared boat, but actually you can use only expensive private boat. And it’s basically the only way of going anywhere. There is a path through the jungle, which leads to other beach where you can get food for half of the price they charge you here. but they won’t tell you about it when asked if there are any ways of going around except of the boat. Broken flashing light, mold everywhere, no hot water doesn’t do good either. Trash on the beach, construction tools and cement buckets laying everywhere kind of sucks.

If there is heaven on earth, we have tasted a piece of heaven at this place😊 From the moment our boat reached the Wild Pasir Panjang shoreline, my heart immediately beamed with warmth & all my stress just melt away. I remember feeling like I am in the Survivor Island series. We did not waste any time to change our clothes and went for a swim, with the little ducklings. After swimming, we have had the most amazing lunch, Green Curry Chicken & Panang Seafood with rice. Tips : Try the authentic Tom Yam by Chef Koi. It’s so delicious, you will want to come back for more! The sunsets are amazing, some people capture it with their camera shutter, we think we captured it in our hearts. The Owner Ghasri san & his Manager Koi chan welcome us with open arms & embrace us with their genuine hospitality. Ghasri advise us to wake up early in the morning to enjoy what he said the best sunrise on earth, well the sunrise here is sublime! I love all the pets they have too, to be honest they can give you the humanely touch you need! Thank you Milo, Coffee & Tiger. I did not get to meet Awang though. The place truly leave a significant marks in our hearts. We have the best time here. For the price we pay , truly the memories here are priceless. Everytime I heard John Lennon’s Imagine song , it will remind me of the this place🥹 We thank you for everything! Arigatou gozaimas…

There was no breakfast provided. I did not ask for breakfast as you need to add on top of the rate for the room. The volunteers and staff were friendly and welcoming. The surrounding nature is nice to go for a swim and relax.
The location is very remote. Boats are the only way you can get to the island. There isn't much you can do there except to just chill. The room had a very nasty smell throughout. The stench was so bad that despite spraying perfume that I had brought with me, it still did not go away. Plus, in the middle of the night I encountered somewhat like a iguana like creature in the room! Now I understand that the property is situated in an area near the jungle but the listing definitely did not include that I will be accompanied by 'uninvited guests'. The problem was not the location but the misleading information given by the person in charge by the name of Balan. Despite booking for 3 days, I had to cut short my stay to just 1 day.

it’s a little piece of paradise, quiet, unspoilt and the perfect place to get away and recharge. koi would make fresh delicious food, the owner was an amazing friendly knowledgeable host. if you like nature this place is great with the dogs, cats , monkeys and birds you could hear from the jungle.

It is a real small paradise. Bungalows are located almost directly on the beach. Our bungalow had three windows and glass doors, - a lot of light, great views out of window - beautiful sea view and sound of waves upon awakening in the morning, - it was very nice. We had real hot water, good refrigerator, we could buy at the kitchen everything we needed: wine, soft drinks, snacks. Great cook at the restaurant. The owners are a local family who give a lot of attention for keeping their guests happy. Good possibilities for swimming, - very comfortable and enjoyable place. We spent almost a month in Malaysia - and it was a real highlight of our stay. We can really recommend to those who is looking for escape from the hassle of big cities - the place is very quite and peaceful.

The secluded island beach location had potential.
Koi the cook is lovely and I enjoyed the meal I had.
This property may have been charmingly rustic when it was built. Now it is run down and neglected. my bungalow had tatty curtains, a bare light bulb, threadbare towels and unsanitary plumbing.
In the afternoon party boats with jet skis and thumping music anchored just offshore, I was told this is a daily occurrence.
Next morning the prevailing north east wind brought had covered the beach in plastic and dirty nappies. Along with an open septic tank leaching into the creek I wouldn’t swim in the dirty water.
It’s way over priced for the shabby facilities and the transfer price to reach the main island means you’ll miss out on Langkawi’s ecotourism attractions.
I booked 4 nights and left after 1.

This is a nice place for one or two nights if you want to be away from things, be close to the beach and relax (without internet), and don’t need comfort.
The constant hard wind at night blowing into our two room bungalow which did not have windows to block the wind. A tent would sleep better in that situation.
Only an expensive private boat option to go to main Langkawi Island. Limited food choice.

The remote location was nice.
Forced to buy endless small bottles of water. They should really have a filter system for water or at least large jugs. Food was limited and not great. Sadly there are no other options so it would be nice if they made more of an effort. Not really a big focus on customer satisfaction. The beach was a bit disappointing. Mostly rocky under the water 5 meters in, so water play was not really possible. My son got a fish hook in his foot on the beach and the owner didn't even apologize for it.
Best part was the nice western volunteer staff they had when I was there. But it was uncomfortable to see how they were treated.

Location & privacy
Friendly staff
Tip: Go with a unlimited data sim card.
Private speed boat cost us 80 ringgets to Palau Tuba. On our way back we book the same boat for island hoping for 4 hrs & return back to main island Kuah in 300 ringetts.
It will be good, if have curtains installed at entrance glass sliding door to block visibility from outside.
Guest can use curtains as per thier choice.

The stay on the Tuba Island was just exceptional and it will be for ever an unforgettable experience.
Gashri, the owner, and Koi, the cook, are wonderful persons, open-hearted, full of extraordinary stories. there was another couple present on the island and we spent each evening talking, especially about Gashri’s incredible life!! he is full of nice anecdotes; you just need to ask him;)
The hotel itself is located in the most magical place. By far the best beach of all langkawi beaches (the proof is that the cruises all try to get in the spot of the island).
The commodities are very comfortable; if you are looking for a luxurious resort, this is not the place. here you are back to nature, with jungle right behind you and the beach and sea in front. It is a private beach and to me this is the real luxury.
Koi is an amazing cook and also a great person to talk to and party ;) she can teach you different meals, but most importantly she loves music and animals (she has 4 adorable cats and 1 very. cute dog).
you can rent a boat, use their canoe to have a look around the island, walk through the jungle (10min) and see the cute monkeys and discover the rest of the island and the village.
If you want, they can also arrange a guided tour of Langkawi with Mussa. he will drive you around and show you the best spots of the island.
also, if you want to relax and have your own quite time, this is the best place.
I would like to keep this place just for me but it would be unfair for people not to discover this incredible place!

This is the best place in the world. The owner Ghasri and the cook Koi are some of the most amazing people ever met during travels (go talk with them!). Their stories are amazing, they made our trip absolutely perfect. The place and view are magical and out of this world: you wake up with the sound of waves and sunrise over small islands right in front in the sea. Totally worth the price, this has been my favorite (of many) stays, backpacking for years. If you like nature and quiet, this is the place to be.
The place is a little difficult to access from the road (though a private boat can take you there easily). But again, the place is so amazing it is totally worth it.

The best accommodation I have ever booked. Little paradise near Langkawi. Private beach, basic chalet with private shower and toilet. Sleeping on the matrasses. Beach 10m from your bed!
Awesome food. You can buy basic drinks there(beer, soft drinks, wine, water, coffee/tea, some spirits).
Perfect place if you want to escape busy Cenang.
Expect basic accommodation. There is nothing to do nearby, so prepare for doing nothing/meditating/staring into the see.
You need to take a boat from Kuah in order to get there. If you are taking a shared boat(10RM per person, runs few times a day), make sure your captain knows that you are going to Pasir Panjang, otherwise you might end up in Jeti Pulau Tuba port, which is far away from the accommodation. I recommend taking a private boat for 80RM directly to the Pasir Panjang. It is worth it and you do not have to wait. When going back, you will have to take a private boat again
Nothing, everything was perfect.

The place was just perfect to relax and escape from city life. The boss and employees were also more than nice.
