Well equipped, cozy apartment.

We enjoyed our stay. The kitchen is well equipped even if you stay longer, you can cook. Location is a 12-15 minute walk from the touristic center but very near the train station. Bojana is prompt to reply and accommodating, helps organize trips and rentals if necessary. I would gladly recommend this place for an exploration of the lake and southern Montenegrin area.

All was just perfect! Located in a very peaceful neighborhood, just a few mins walk from the village center. Super clean, comfortable, well equipped. We were glad AC was there :)))) we also booked the nature tour on lake skandar, highly recommend!!! Thank you for your hospitality!

The hostess was very helpful and friendly. She had some great recommendations. The place is quiet and in walking distance of virpazar. Really enjoyed our time here exploring the lake.

We had a comfortable stay at this apartment and host was friendly and helpful

Apartment was comfortable and well presented. Everything was clean to a good standard. Host greeted us on arrival and provided info on how to walk into Virpazar town avoiding walking on the main road. We were also lucky enough to get offered a glass of fresh juice which was delicious. Host was also able to offer airport transfer to Podgorica at an additional cost which was convenient for us.

This accommodation is basic but clean and the host was super helpful. It's a 10-15 minute walk into Virpazar along a broken track, crossing a railway line, not for the super nervous but we had no problems. Great value for money.

Room is dark and a furniture a little tired.

A great location - peaceful and walking distance from the lake. Such friendly and helpful hosts and very clean and pleasant accommodation. Would definitely stay again.

The hosts were absolutely fantastic, so attentive and really made sure we had the best stay possible. The apartment was gorgeous and they also arranged some fantastic trips for us. They made everything so easy.

Superb

The women who run this place are lovely! The location is great, easy to acces from the trainstation and from the road as well. They know a great deal about the region and are very willing to help if you need it. You can get a boat tour on Skadar lake with them too. The contessa's mom sells great rakija, be sure to try some!

Amazing friendly host, clean cozy apartment. We had everything we need for a share stay. Good value for money.

It’s a bit far away from the center, but we knew this beforehand so it was not a problem.

Homey, accessible and good value

Four Countesses is more than a place to stay. The lodging seems to double up as a tour agency. Thus they offer a range of privatised and group excursions on and around Lake Skadar. I was welcomed by one of the sisters, Bojana, who demonstrated that nothing was too much trouble as soon as we arrived. The accommodation is well placed just minutes on foot from the railway station. Into town is a pleasant 10-minute walk via a footpath into the centre of Virpazar. It is from town many excursions begin. Regarding the price I can not complain. A strong Wi-Fi, kitchenette and decent level of cleanliness made this place very worthwhile. The apartments are very homey surrounded by a pretty courtyard garden.

best Apartment near the lake

very nice and friendly staff. clean and comfortable apartments in a quite area. they also help us renting a kayak, which we do highly recommend! we wish we could have stayed longer at this place

Excellent location for exploring Lake Skadar. Hosts were brilliant and very hospitable. The boat trip organised by them was the highlight of my trip to Montenegro.

The owner was very helpful. She lended us some oil for cooking and she was so kind to mail us an item we accidentally left at the appartment.

A wonderful stay in an absolutely beautiful National Park. Didn't want to leave ...

We really enjoyed our stay at Four Countesses and would definitely recommend it. It is only a fifteen minute walk to Virpazar centre and the host is extremely welcoming and friendly. We had planned to go biking but, as it was so hot, she suggested we try kayaking instead and we were so pleased we took her advice. The best way to enjoy beautiful Lake Skadar!! Our host arranged the kayaking trip for us. The facilities at the accommodation are great, plus somewhere to park for free, and we also had a delicious, local breakfast with homemade jam. This is a brilliant, family run business and I would most definitely stay here again.
