Perfect location. The additions of the suites is really good.
There are a lot of stairs.

Central location cafe bar right outside
The bed was super soft to the point we had a bad back
It was like a sponge in top but not memory foam !
Not much to do here either

Location was prime, right down town. Staff was friendly and helpful and accommodating to our arrival time because our other transport got delayed to arrive on time. We got a complimentary room upgrade.
No complimentary water in the room. And towels given was very limited.

The location is splendid and the staff friendly. You could use the sister hotels pool just a short walk away.
It's not that I didn't like it but it's not new.

This is a fairly basic hotel but we knew that when we booked. The location is very central and there is a lot within walking distance. The free parking is a huge plus.
I would have liked a bigger room but the price was right for the one we had.

Location was great, right on the main street. There are supermarkets, restaurants, tour companies around. We were concerned that it might be noisy at night as the hotel is right in the centre of town. The noise levels didn't bother us and was not an issue for us.
Nothing

Helpful staff and fridge on the room is helpful. Handy location for border crossing to Guatemala
The room we had was far different (worse) to the one in the photos. The only window opened straight out onto a shipping container so we had no natural light and the room was old and tatty. There was no outdoor seating area in the hotel and nothjng to see/do in the immediate vicinity.

Friendly staff; We appreciated them providing drinking water. The location was great- the back balcony overlooks the plaza. In front, it faces the main street with shops and restaurants. We were very close to the Anglican Church and attended services there. We walked to the Iguana refuge/sanctuary, but it was a hot walk uphill.

Really spacious apartment and huge, comfortable bed. There were two TVs with working Netflix etc. The apartment had everything you need to cook basic meals and breakfast. Good location in the centre of San Ignacio. They can organise tours for you at reception and we were happy with the service.
Very small thing but a soap dish in the bathroom would be a great addition! No restaurant or breakfast but plenty of places to eat nearby.

Great hotel in a handy location. Room was clean and spacious. Bathroom was perfect. Located right beside the bus station with lots of food options around. Staff were really friendly and helpful.
Nothing I can think of.

Literally could not fault this hotel one bit. We were very worried about booking it as it was our first time in Belize and thought it would be a scary place to visit. How wrong we were. The hotel obviously is not the Hilton but if you’re there for 4 days like us it’s exactly all you need. You’re smack bang in the middle of everything and a 1 minute walk from the bus stop which takes you to Belize city (same travel time as taxi but only 10BZE as apples to 120USD). The same bus stop also takes you to the ruins in Xunantunich. It’s the Benque Bus (the same bus you get from Belize City to San Ignacio) and stops right outside the entrance and cost 2.5BZE. The entry fee is 10BZE. The buses come very frequently and are great fun. If you haven’t booked your next area like we did don’t book San Pedro. It’s really super expensive, more expensive than London prices and really boring. Jump on the bus and go somewhere else. We wish we had.
We loved everything about this hotel. Everything we asked reception for we got. The only thing that was horrific about this place was the hair braiding woman whose small shop is directly left from The Spot restaurant which is on the opposite side of the Venus hotel. The woman is violent. She gave us a big spill about how awful my daughters hair extensions were and that she would take it out and do it again. She said she would do it for 50USD. We accepted as she seemed like a nice lady but how wrong we were. She took the extensions out but then said she couldn’t remove the beads in my daughters hair and would need to leave them in. My daughter was horrified so I then had to bite every single one of them out myself. She then cut a three inch chunk of my daughters hair which is right on the crown. We told her we didn’t want her doing it and she bullied us to carry on. She then side platted my daughters natural hair and made a huge plaitted bump and then sowed the hair into the plait leaving a huge surplus of the hair extensions hanging. My daughter was so distraught and started crying and begged her to stop. She then took a 12 inch kitchen knife from her handbag and pepper spray on her key ring and said we must giver her the money. It was such a scary experience. Please please avoid this woman at all costs. We then complained to authorities whom explained she was mentally unstable. They wanted us to file a police report to have her arrested but we just wanted to leave the area.

Excellent location! Right in the middle of everything. AC and wifi worked great.
I was right near the lobby and could hear everything happening outside of my room.

I like hw centralized this place was, I liked that the beds were comfy and the room was clean.
I did not like the false advertisement of the breakfast being included, it was not! I also did not like the flight of stairs we had to climb every time we came back to the room, it really sucked when we had to carry our bags up, and there is no staff that offered to help. I didn't like that the 2 staff that work there were not really friendly, if you didn't say hello to them then they never spoke to you, BUT the one thing i really didn't like was that I was there an 1 hr and 15 min before check in and they said we had to wait until 3pm (no problem), however when i came back at 3pm (knowing that i was already there) the room was not ready for another 20 minutes. However, they didn't tell me that the room was ready until after they charged me for the stay. I have never had a hotel charge me before I can get a physical room key to get into my room. That to me was unacceptable. if you are going to charge me for my stay make sure you have my room key ready to hand me.

The location in the center of town was great. It was easy to get where ever we wanted to go. We stayed in a suite on the top floor and it was great. We really enjoyed the public balcony overlooking town.
It would have been nice to have a water dispenser on each floor.

Nice central location, helpful staff, good value.
There was a desk, but it was tucked away and rather awkward. More space to unpack clothes would be good.

Everything was good.

The location was perfect for visiting San Ignacio. It was close to the restaurants, tours, transportation and shops. The room had a good air conditioner. The staff were friendly. The price was good.
The walls were thin, and it is next to the town plaza, so it was noisy up until around 9 pm, but then it got quiet for the night. The room had some small fixes that needed to be made or improved, but nothing that was a deal breaker. The wifi was not very good, and the tv service was not very good because it was tied exclusively to the internet.

The location was excellent and the staff were very professional, very pleasant, and very accommodating. I liked that we could store some luggage there for free while we went to Guatemala for a few days.
