This is a stunning location and property.
Jean Michel and Isabelle were charming, very welcoming and extremely helpful .
It was a treat going down to breakfast every morning to the lovely atmosphere in the breakfast room and the garden was a magical place.
Our dog especially thought so.
We would really love to go back there.

Wow!! What a wonderful place!!! The house was beautiful, and the garden was paradise. So peaceful and divine. The hosts were super nice, and the breakfast was really good. Magnifique.

A very beautiful place, with stunning garden - lovely sanctuary after a long drive.
Family suite was a lovely space, although the small bathroom with little shower area might struggle if you stayed longer than a night or two.
Location excellent, loads to do, very pretty village, plenty of facilities and eateries just a short drive away.
Breakfast was very stylish and delicious. Proprietors welcoming.
We had booked as somewhere that we could feel relaxed with dog and teen children (all well behaved). The area is not easy to explore with a dog so we hoped for a place she stay for a couple of hours whilst we visited museums - she barked a few times on the first evening and so we were asked not to leave her again which made plans difficult.
The website information didn't make clear also that the family suite was up some sets of old steps and steep wooden staircase - one of our children has some mobility difficulties and this was a hindrance. I imagine toddlers might find the same. Not a fault of the property, but that needs to be clearer on the website.
There were no tea/coffee facilities in the suite either - again not clear on the website.
A very beautiful place, clearly looked after with a lot of love and care - we would return as a couple but not as a tired family with a dog!

The friendly hosts, the beautiful old building surrounded by various places to sit in the garden and the pleasant breakfast served.

We stayed 2 nights in this authentic location, it is an old moulin transformed and it has the French charm. The location is dog friendly and close to many objectives with the car.
What we liked:
- the garden is beautiful, with a small river, beautiful view of the stars at night, we bought some drinks from a shop
- the breakfast atmosphere
- good water pressure at shower, better than in a hotel
- the hosts are friendly and helpful, we communicated in English
There are many, many objectives to visit in the area, most of them related to WWII, do not miss these:
Musée et site de la Batterie de Merville (in open air, dogs allowed, interactive video guides)
Musée du Débarquement (audio-video guides included, you need 1-2 hours, dogs not allowed inside and a little crowded)
Omaha beach

1. The owners were very friendly and likeable.
2. The location was perfect for visiting the Normandy coast line.
3. The gardens were superb with a fast flowing small river running through them.
1. The room was basic and in need of modernisation with no kettle or tea/coffee making facilities.
2. The breakfast room was very cold despite there being radiators which were switched off.

La Malposte is a beautiful little Bed and Breakfast in one of the prettiest little villages I have ever seen in France. The rooms are scattered throughout multi-layered stone buildings with gardens and streams and hidden little courtyards. The dining room is incredible and breakfast was super! Our room was so cozy and comfortable, and restful after 3 days on the road. Patricia and her husband were extremely helpful, and spoke English very well. My little dog could go anywhere with me, even the dining room. I could stay there forever, it was a little tropical paradise.

This is a stunningly beautiful property not done full justice by the photos. The rooms are mostly in different buildings, hence private. Wonderful host too. Breakfast is in the old stable - like the flour mill from something like 12th century. While the buildings are ancient the decor is beautiful, every little need is catered for. The pack of maps was particularly useful. Just perfect. Highly recommended.
We liked everything.
