Teresa and John were lovely hosts, helped a lot in recommendations of things to do/see, as well as good food recommendations. Met the expectation we had, and was perfect for the 1 night stop we had planned. Comfy night, with good black out curtains (which is great at that time a year when its never really dark out).
Teresa made sure to get everything we needed, and offered a really nice breakfast to get the day started!

Everything! The area, the owner, the breakfast, the room... We just loved our stay!
First, the area is incredible, with access to the cliffs 10 min away from the B&B (by car), view of the sea and the hills from the house and little towns close by.
The owners are simply lovely. They have lots of recommendations for food or what to see in the area.
For breakfast you'll get freshly made eggs and bacon, or a full Irish breakfast, plus homemade scones and bread, yoghurt, fruit, tea and coffee. All in a cozy little breakfast room with view of the sea and the hills.
The room was perfectly clean, comfy and modern. Outside is also enough space to park your car.
Even if we tried, we couldn't find anything to complain about.
That our stay only lasted one night.

Theresa is an excellent hostess. The room was outstanding, spotless and great decor. The en-suite was obviously newly updated and exceeded expectations. The breakfast and the entire presentation was truly outstanding.
Theresa made us feel right at home and gave us lots of ideas on where to visit. We would highly recommend staying here. Simply fantastic.
We should have stayed longer.

Host made us very welcome. Tea and appletart when we arrived having had a tyre puncture on the motorway. It was very welcome. Breakfast was cooked to order and delicious. It is so good to see irish hospitality at its best

Teresa is a great host, greeting us with home made cake, helping us with suggestions on places to eat and visit and she makes a really good breakfast too. Lovely room, well appointed and a comfortable bed. The location is stunning with great views in all directions and it is so quiet. Wish we could have stayed longer.

The room was very comfortable with plenty of towels and a great shower. Breakfast was delightful with lots of fresh fruit, variety of yogurts, scones and cooked to order hot breakfast! Delicious. Breakfast was wonderful and the owner very kind and helpful. Great signage to the place. Really appreciated the small fridge to keep our lunch cold. Great view and quiet place to stay!
Small room with the twin bed thrown in and bed was right beside bathroom so just felt squeezed lol. Tv was very tiny but suited the space I suppose!.

The room was very comfortable, with wonderful views of the sea. Teresa had thought of every thing, her folder of local information was excellent! She was so helpful and our breakfast was amazing. As well as the full Irish breakfast she made soda bread and perfect scones, which would have been worthy of Mary Berry.
Our car didn't have sat nav so though we found Hilltop easily in the day we got lost coming back at night.

Hilltop was absolutely delightful. Stunning views from EVERY room, excellent and convenient location and our host, Teresa, went above and beyond to make us comfortable and happy. Teresa told us some of her local knowledge that led me to finding our ancestral home and meeting a cousin!!! How can you get any better than that? Here you will find excellent breakfasts, kind and dedicated hosts and a true Irish welcome. We will be back.
There was nothing to dislike about this property. I HIGHLY recommend staying here.

Fabulous breakfast and a beautiful view ! Teresa was a lovely host and helped us out with finding things to do and places to eat. Thank you !

Lovely host, room clean, home baked breads and scones
-shared bathroom. Just not for us, that is more of a personal choice than B&B's fault. On the booking site it said private bathroom which mean shared in this case. Bathroom was across the hall and shared with 2 other rooms.
Nice little towns around but if u want to go to cliffs of moher, aillewe caves or Burren it's an hour or so away.
Was expecting better breakfast.. Selection of youghurts, cereal and fruit. Cooked breakfast was on a small side

fantastic location with panoramic views if you are fortunate to be able to sit outside like we were. close to the Kilkee cliffs and about 15 mins from Kilkee centre. Good sized room albeit the en-suite was quite small. Lovely choice of breakfasts in the morning.
no tea or coffee making facilities in the room though they were available in the lounge.
