It was okay, but expensive.

The location is brilliant, very central and easy to walk everywhere so you dont need a car. If you need to go to the wine farms, do the TRAM or Uber.

I just expected more for the price. I think it was average. The pictures make it look a lot fancier. Maybe it just needs some attention to the details. Broken curtain rails, coffee machine not working for breakfast. I think it has lost the WOW factor.

Lovely clean central private room

Excellent spot, easy access, safe parking. Loved the fireplace in our room and the bathroom facilities.

A perfect holiday. Will be back

Location perfect. Rooms are wonderful and fully equipped. Breakfast was excellent. Centrally situated. Perfect for the wine tram. Staff are so friendly and helpful.

Great location

This hotel has a great location. We could walk to all the restaurants and we could get a Tuk Tuk very close to the hotel. Breakfast was also great and staff very friendly. Rooms are really nice and modern with a nice fireplace and nice minibar and coffee station.

They need to put a roof over the courtyard area, even if it is just a retractable one. Weather was not good on the day we stayed there and we had to walk in the rain to get to our car or to breakfast. There was a great fireplace in the room which is why we booked this hotel as we wanted a cosy fireplace in the room. But they did not leave us matches or something to light the fire. The evening when we came back from the restaurant we had to go look for matches somewhere. But all this said - it was our second stay here and we will be back.

Beautiful Hotel, Super Friendly Staff, Great Location

We had to leave very early the Saturday morning and the hotel accommodated us outside breakfast hours with a continental breakfast and excellent coffee. The fireplace inside the room was absolutely magnificent ((although you could really give a little bit more firewood... considering we were there during a rainy weekend and there are no aircons anymore due to your generator system)).

Please put some more coffee pods, tea bags, milk and sugar at the coffee station in the room. It always baffles me that hotels / guest houses only "budget" for two cups of coffee per person per room per day... The water which we presumed was there for the coffee was also never replaced.

Great hotel in a perfect location.

Excellent hotel, located in the centre of Franschoek. Plenty of free parking, nice room with wooden heater stove which we used. The staff were very pleasant. Breakfast was also very good, cooked to order. Everything was well organised.

10/10 amazing

It’s a lovely boutique hotel in the perfect position sitting just off one of the squares on the main Franschoek high street. You have walking access to everything you need and the staff at the hotel are wonderful. It makes you feel so cozy and at home

Excellent Hotel

Nice big room with a comfy bed and excellent shower. The breakfast was delicious and the hotel is in a brilliant location for restaurants and shops. Plenty of parking is provided. There was even a view of the mountains. Very handy for the wine tram kiosk

A pleasant hotel in a convenient location

Breakfast was very pleasant.

There are many steps going up to reception and to the rooms. There is no lift or porter. This is a problem with heavy suitcases or for disabled people. I requested a firm pillow which was not provided.

Pleasant

The location was great, the views from the bedroom and hotel were spectacular and the staff were very friendly.

The bathroom had mould in the shower, the safe in the room could not be used, the frosted glass screen separating the bathroom from the room could not be closed or opened (it was a sliding door) and I felt that the breakfast offering was poor relative to other hotels.

Good boutique hotel in the heart of Franschhoek

Brilliant location, lovely room with awesome view over the mountains, staff were very friendly and helpful (booked us a taxi into town). Would stay here again.

Breakfast could be improved a little bit with some more choices and including different type of coffee (it was still very good but expect a little bit more for the price and a good breakfast is needed before the wine!)
