wunderschön

Leider war ich nur auf der Durchreise, aber die Gegend und die Unterkunft sind wunderschön, ich werde bestimmt wiederkommen. Die Unterkunft liegt ruhig, umgeben von Wald. Das Anwesen ist wunderschön und liebevoll eingerichtet. Empfehlenswert ist das leckere Abendessen in schöner Atmosphäre. Das Frühstück war sehr reichhaltig! Vielen Dank für die Gastfreundschaft!!

Beautiful location and very stylish property.

The property is in a beautiful location and the grounds and swimming pool are kept in an excellent condition. The rooms are spacious and exceptionally clean and stylish.

I would prefer to have an individual table for my breakfast rather than one long table for everyone. Would have liked a milk jug on the table instead of the communal one on the sideboard. No food provision for late arrivals or early departures.

Will definitely stay again and have already told our friends how fabulous it is!

The breakfast was absolutely incredible and sitting outside in the beautiful garden was a bonus. Also, having the swimming pool available was fabulous. Our host was so friendly and welcoming.

Couldn’t ask for more than this beautiful property, tastefully styled by friendly hosts

The laundry was very fresh and clean. Air conditioning fully appreciated!The property is In beautiful grounds with a relaxing pool area and also courtyard area good for snacks/ drinks plus other little areas to relax. Even though there were other rooms in our building we were unaware of anyone. Breakfast was good, table settings and dining area very tasteful. The hosts had a very good level of subtle friendliness and helpfulness. Peacefully located a few miles from town

Not a criticism of the property but rather my choice of room would be different were we to stay again: ours was probably the smallest with least facilities

A real insider tip - simply wonderful!

Our absolute favourite in the centre of the beautiful Périgord with wonderful hosts. Unfortunately we could only book the room for 1 week - we would have loved to stay a 2nd. We would not recommend this B&B to anyone else - as it is an absolute insider tip :-) The morning meal is prepared with love and the stay inside as well as outside are very pleasant.

Unfortunately - and this is the absolutely only negative - the internet is still too slow.

Spend 6 nights with family (3 rooms) and really enjoyed our stay.

Great breakfast, and very good location.

Careful on entering the driveway as cars coming around a blind corner can be a menace.

Stunning location, quiet and peaceful, accommodation was 'top notch'

The hosts, breakfasts and accommodation were all superb. We had two evening meals with them during our stay and both were fabulous.

Quality establishment and a great base from which to tour this beautiful region.

Difficult to fault this property. Room was very comfortable, bathroom very good though the shower was a little complicated at first. Very tastefully decorated, both in the guest room and the dining room. The owners were very helpful, breakfasts were great, with a good selections and eggs cooked as you wished. We dined in one night, which was of good restaurant quality, and provides an opportunity to meet other guests. Beautiful setting in the countryside. Be sure not to miss Limeuil which is just a few kilometres away.

Nothing...just be aware that this property is about 5 minutes by car from Le Bugue, so a car is a must. This presented no problems at all. Le Bugue has limited restaurant choices but there are other towns nearby.

Exceptional

Excellent B&B in beautiful surroundings! The owners have thought about every little detail. For example, the extra towels to lie at the pool and the selection of cheese and charcuterie at breakfast. The bed is extremely comfortable and big! Outside there's a lot of space to sit and enjoy the sunshine or have a drink during the night. There are many things to do around the accommodation, like visiting castles, caves and restaurants. Be prepared to drive around the area. We felt very much at home. Thank you for the memorable stay!

Lovely hotel and charming owners. Perfect location and lovely "warm" pool. A great Dordogne intro.

Breakfast was excellent and the location was perfect for us. We enjoyed a really lovely week and could not have asked for more.

In all honesty there was nothing negative to say.

Room well appointed. Excellent swimming pool and lots of areas to relax. Private courtyard a bonus.

Fantastic location, Fabulous B&B, Delicious meals in there onsite restaurant, Our hosts friendly and very hospitable

The pool was great, especially appreciated the sun umbrellas. Meals were delicious! Great location for exploring The Dordogne area. We throughly enjoyed the facilities and our hosts were very hospitable.

Our friends had very comfortable beds but mine was very uncomfortable, being worn out. The mini refrigerator was too small to keep our drinks cool as it was quite warm weather at the time of our visit.

Just a little jewel in the most beautiful area of France.

Nicolas and Michell's accommodation is centrally located in a very quiet area in one of the most beautiful areas of France. The hosts are always very helpful and very nice and they are cooking fabulous! We always come back with great pleasure.

We would have loved to stay much longer.

High quality accommodation which we love to use again.

Very high quality B&B and extremely well maintained. The room was nicely furnished with quality furniture and linens. The towels were changed daily and bed made, which was a nice touch we appreciated. Very nice breakfast with good service. Lovey pool.

Perfect

Lovely setting, we liked everything I think. Excellent food, proper chef. Only thing is no choice no menu. But just ask. Impeccably clean. The Dordogne is a beautiful part of France and this would be an excellent place as a base.

Some of the ceilings slope so mind your head Oops bang, ouch! The sat nav might say turn left up a steep path, don't do that 🤔 the entrance is through an arch which is the next turn

An exceptional residence with excellent facilities and food.

This is an exceptional residence extremely well managed. The location is great for visiting the Dorodgne. The managers are very friendly and provide excellent breakfast. They also offer an evening dinner which they cook and serve. It is excellent food. The room was easy to keep cool during hot weather. There is an excellent swimming pool.

Great place with a professional staff to take care of the important things.

Very nice Chambre D'Hotes run by Michel and Nicolas. Michel is an excellent cook and the dinners were amazing, and very copious and generous. Nicolas is a superb host. The place is run extremely professionally, so this isn't a kind of mom and dad type of place, it's more of a resorty hotely vibe with a personal touch. Very nice place.

A heavenly property and an incredible stay, everything was perfect

Amazing property, beautifully designed and finished, very comfortable beds and everything was spotlessly clean. Breakfast was great and our hosts were very helpful and professional - Nicolas even dropped us off and then picked us up from a nearby restaurant when a local taxi firm let us down last minute (restaurant is called Chez Julien - highly recommend). A magical property and we will definitely return.

Great week in lovely accommodation

Breakfast was wonderful. Owners were very nice. The property was very thoughtfully put together.

Room had a angled ceiling that I kept banging my head on on getting out of bed at a nite I have a slight disability I would have found railing on the stairs, (lots of outdoor stairs on the property) would have been a big help and a hand rail to get in and out of the bath would have also helped me feel more comfortable and it would have been much safer for me. Shower was a hand held one to use standing in the bath.

Idyllic oasis - loved it!

Three weeks in France, and this was our absolute favorite place. Everything was impeccable! Our room was spacious and well appointed; the pool and grounds were lovely; the breakfast fantastic; the hosts are charming.

Our only regret was that we didn't stay longer!

Fantastic stay, you just feel good there.

Place is beautiful, well put. Rooms are spacious , comfy and decorated with a lot of taste. Pool is perfect in terms of size, temperature and view. Food is the killer with very good and fresh breakfast and excellent dinner options. Staff is very friendly and helpful, dedicated to make your stay an experience. Forest nearby also a very good spot for hiking and running.

Not much to complain about, road nearby is sometimes a little noisy but no show stopper at all.
