Warmly recommend

This place is next to the most beautiful beach we have been in Sri Lanka (literally 2 min walking) The family is super welcoming and they cooked for us a delicious dinner and breakfast in the garden. Very peaceful and quiet place to relax.

Overpriced

The location is great and the Family is really nice. They really make an effort for making you have a nice stay. Nice patio in front of the room.

The rooms is moldy, the matras is old and not in good shape, the room is dark and doesn’t smell nice, the sofa’s on the room don’t have a plus so you can beter take them out of the room and freshen things up. The rooms our not sound proof so you hear the other guests even snor. The place is really OVER priced. It is not because it is close to the beach and the Family is nice that you can make the price this high. There are other Places that ar more worthy of this price. The price should really be A LOT lower and it nerds be be freshen up.

Warm family, amazing cook :)

Family is super nice, they helped us organize safari. Food at the restaurant is delicious and reasonably priced. Waking distance from the beach. Cutest dog.

Perfect spot to relax for a few days.

I can totally recommend the Sea Breeze Garden in Tangalle. The owner Tharu is the greatest cook - her cheese Kotthu and curry were incredible, she also makes a great breakfast. And it’s just a few meters from Silent beach, which is the most beautiful beach i have seen in Sri Lanka. There are also other beautiful beaches nearby (you can walk to them). If you feel like having some quiet days at the beach - this is the perfect spot. It was so nice to meet Tharu and her family.

Great stay

The room covers very basic facilities, no hot water, but is very clean and spacious, and the bed is super comfy. I also give credit for the towel provided here, nice and clean. The owner is super lovely and she cooks decent food. Senu the labrador is adorable too :) If you're looking for a walking distance place to Silent Beach, get away from touristy beaches, and immerse yourself in nature, this place is perfect for you.

The room is pretty stuffy during the day if there's no aircon. The water runs slow, maybe because of the location itself. Other than that it's a great place

Best place to visit Silent Beach

I booked Sea Breeze because i want to be as close as possible to Silent Beach, one of the most beautiful beaches of Sri Lanka. It's just a 50m walk. Sea Breeze only has 3 rooms and it has their own restaurant. Room is fine with airco. The family who hosts this stay is really friendly and try to do everything to make your stay as best as possible. Really in love with their one year old labrador dog Senu.

This family is the best, such lovely people and Tharu’s cooking is great! At this price level it’s completely acceptable that the mattress is a bit on the thinner side and the room is very simple - the place has got everything you need and the family feeling gives you a wonderful local experience. It’s the closest place to the beach, only a 2 minute walk. We will definitely here again!!!

Super warm and welcoming hosts of perfectly located guest house

The guest house is perfectly located directly next to Silent Beach, just a few meters walking distance. The hosts were so nice and welcoming, and the food was delicious, especially the fresh fish! The rooms were clean and we had everything we needed. In case we visit Sri Lanka again we will stay at this guest house again anytime! :)

The family who run Sea Breeze are so hospitable that we keep visiting every year. And they keep improving the property too - the food is always superb, the rooms are clean, and they are a short walk from one of the best beaches we know. I cannot recommend Sea Breeze Garden highly enough, we look forward to seeing them again next year 😊

We had a great stay here. Room's simple but it was clean and got everything you need plus a nice terrasse. Location's great since the very beautiful Silent Beach is around 50 to 100 m away. The included breakfast was delicious as was the dinner we had the evening before.

Best location, value and beach.

This is the best located guesthouse with access to Silent Beach. It's just a 100m walk to the beach. There is good road access to reach the hotel. The rooms are large, clean and comfortable. The host family is warm and accommodating. We booked for 1 night and ended up extending for 4 nights.

if you want to some good on your travels and have a great empty beach 2 min walk away this Is the place for you. It's run by a family and Cove it is really hit me hard they're trying to hang in there but they get so futurist these days there any stay helps them survive.

Not really for us folks over 40.

Very good

We stayed for 2 nights at this family-run guest house which is a little hidden just outside of Tangalle on the way to Mirissa. The owners gave their very best to comfort us in all aspects and prepared delicious food, comfortable rooms and a great atmosphere. Highly recommended, also because of its proximity to a beautiful small beach with no crowds. You can also only visit the restaurant to eat while staying at "silent beach", the food was great!

The accommodation is located just a few meters from the most beautiful beach in southern Sri Lanka. It has nice chilling area in front of the rooms and the lady owner is prepared is an excellent cook - she prepared the best meals for us we had on this island!

Worth it for the location

The location is amazing, just a few meters from a really nice and calm beach! The breakfast is ok for the price, you get juice, 2 pancakes and coffee/tea. The owners are friendly and the porch to sit in the garden is also nice. We could do our laundry for 500.

The rooms are dark and it did not feel very clean and comfortable. Everything seems quite old and not taken care of.
