Wish we'd have chosen to stay there a little longer.

Fantastic facilities in a beautiful location (see photos). Friendly, helpful host on-site.

From our experience, it seems to be a challenge throughout Portugal that the core self-catering facilities are excellent but the equipment in the kitchen needed to self-cater (cutlery, crockery, pots and pans etc) is lacking. We needed to ask the owner for specific items in order to self-cater which, it should be said, was provided without hesitation: this could be tricky if you don't speak the language.

Relaxing

Strategic location, in a valley very near Peneda-Gerês natural park, Arcos de Valdevez, Ponte da Parada, Linhoso, Soajo, Ponte de Lima, Monção and Sistelo. Spacious apartment, including TV, fully equipped kitchen, modern bathroom, all clean and tidy. Beautiful landscapes, with nice swimming pool and places for barbecues. Very nice and quiet place. They give you the key and you're all set. There's no annoying room service.

My apartment didn't have WIFI. The signal was too weak. Didn't have basic hygiene material like soap. You'll have to bring your own. The room in my apartment didn't have windows, so without natural light I ended up sleeping overtime on the first morning. Leave the door open for some light. No clear check-in entrance. For the first arrivals, I suggest going down trough the back patio, where you'll have a bar, right in front of the swimming pool. If there's no one there, just ring the bell next door.
