L'emplacement en ville avec parkings proches.
Pas d'ascenseur et escalier raide et étroit. Isolation phonique insuffisante entre les étages.

Central location and a pleasant young man at reception, who gave us recommendations for restaurants along with a map of the town and showed us to our room.
The twin toom was extremely plain in decor,. The en-suite bathroom toilet seat was broken and the fan didn't work which meant that there was an unpleasant smell caused by the damp atmosphere because there was also no window.. in the bedroom, the curtain rail bracket was damaged and it seemed like they just hadn't bothered to fix it. This didn't impact how it worked , just a lack of care from the place and it was overpriced for a basic place. Breakfast was not included in the price but also not a possibility as the restaurant/ kitchen was not open. And no kettle /for making a tea / coffee or water in the room. I would not call this a hotel as the services were not there.

Location really, just far enough away from the main town area and the staff were very pleasant.
Passable for an overnight stay, but that's it from us I'm afraid.
The room had no AC, it was very small/cramped and the bathroom afforded little privacy. Our room was at the front of the bldg directly on the high street and due to the temperature, we had to have the window open, and as a result it was very noisy from both cars/bikes and those accessing the gate below us.
I was quite disappointed as I had high hopes for this especially considering the room cost. We like the traditional hotels yet this fell quite short, a case of cramming too many rooms into a small space.

Breakfast good. Room clean. Location good.
Twin room not as described on booking form. It was described as "Entire unit located on ground floor. As I am disabled this would have been suitable. I was actually given a room which was only accessible by going out of the hotel and walking along a cobbled courtyard. I then had to walk up an outdoor wooden staircase, which led to my room, which was wet and very slippery. I could only do this with assistance. I was not offered any other accommodation. Heater did not work in the bedroom. I paid in advance and when I dropped the keys to the three rooms off, I told the woman in reception I had paid when I arrived. I was made to feel embarrassed in front of other guests, when I was asked to produce my receipt. On looking at it the woman at the reception desk said "oh yes", of course, or words to that effect. As this was a special trip for my family I left feeling very disappointed.

Excellent fresh croissants every morning and tasty fruit and yogurt available. Quiet location with free car park very close
Tea - as always in France! - never comes with boiling water, husband not happy about that!

The staff was so friendly and helpful since it was our first time in Bayeux. The room size was great to accommodate our size of family. We had 8 people and two rooms worked out great
The beds were really hard and we didn’t sleep very well.

We loved the upstairs for our kids. The location was great and the staff was funny and friendly. Our kids loved being able to boil their own eggs at breakfast. The little town was perfect.
There was no sink in the bathroom.

This is a great hotel to serve as a base to explore Normandy and the D Day beaches. Located in town, it was an easy walk to explore Bayeau and to many restaurants. Free parking is a short walk to the hotel. Would definitely stay here again. Only negative is that there is no lift and the upper rooms are accessed by steep, windy stairs which could be difficult for those with mobility issues.

We carried rather more luggage into the hotel as this was our first two-night stay of our week long car journey across northern France. As the owner/manager saw our haul of cases he kindly transferred us to a wheelchair accessible room on the ground floor along a cobbled courtyard at the side rather than the top floor room that had been allocated to us. There is no lift at the premises. We are of a 'certain age' and that helped a lot. Breakfast was good if not extensive. the hotel is ideally placed to explore the fabulous Saturday market in the square some 100m away from the hotel; and of course the other historic places in Bayeux. The owners are efficient and kind.
Although it might be possible to get a parking space opposite the hotel in the street you would have to be lucky. There are about 8 places that were filled during our two-night stay. There is a large free parking lot for about 150 cars some 300m from the hotel. WiFi access is as poor as in most hotels. We had a smallish double bed but understand it is one of the few hotels that have rooms with two singles.

The whole experience of staying at this hotel is one that took our expectations, and exceeded then tenfold. The owners are truly wonderful people who have created a lovely little boutique hotel. Rooms are clean, well maintained and spacious. The layout of the building gives a nod back to its historic origins but has been renovated to a high standard of finish. The owners went well beyond the call of duty to help my sister who had dropped her motorcycle and repaired it at their small workshop. The location is spot on being at one end of the main road in Bayeux, a short walk to all the local amenities and 50 metres from a small supermarket for the essentials. Rue St Patrice is not too busy and even our rooms, which overlook the road were quiet with the windows closed.
