Amazing experience at the heart of Kyoto.

Unexpected upgrade from the hotel (for our birthday trip) to Kyoto highlighted the entire trip. The location is amazing, right at the Shijō Kawaramachi, walking distance to Gion District, Nishiki Market, Kamogawa River, among other places. Stylish design, multiple Michelin restaurants in house; amazing RAU's sweets in house. It will be my only choice for hotel in Kyoto in the future.

The beautifully presented breakfast at the 4th floor changed to a breakfast buffet at the ground floor restaurant was slightly disappointing. The food is still good, but less personal.

Good overall

Very poor breakfast availability

The restaurant didn't open at sensible times in the day. Twice we had to buy bakery from the Market below.

Overall great experience

Gorgeous hotel and lovely staff. The location was well equipped and in a perfect location. Lovely room.

My only fault was the location of the sink but nothing to lose sleep over!

Family friendly, hassle free, awesome stay!!

The room condition was great and spacious. We were with my 6 year-old son and only booked a wide double bed which was huge enough for three of us, but they provided us with an extra single bed at no cost which we appreciated very much. Also during the stay it was our wedding anniversary, and they prepared a present. How sweet of them!! This is new hotel, so all facilities are clean and well maintained. The location was perfect, we could walk to Bontoncho, Simo gawa, Nishiki Market and other places without any hassle. We definitely would stay here again when we come back to Kyoto. Thank you all staff at Good Nature Hotel for your warm and kind hospitality!

A small feedback, wish to have another trash bin next to the sink. I bumped into the bar of the sink which is for hanging the towels and got bruise. Perhaps they could have a bit of protection on the handle.

Perfect location to explore Kyoto

Very close to the Gion district in an area with plenty of option for amazing food. The room was massive and very comfortable, the breakfast was great with a lot of options and great quality. Bonus for being just 2 minutes away from a massive Nintendo store!

Not what you would expect from a 5 star hotel

Location was good. The restaurant food was excellent. However the hours of operations were ridiculous. Breakfast stops at 9:30 AM and dinner stops at 8:00 PM

The room heating was horrible. Air heating was poorly managed, resulting on a temperature difference of 14° Fahrenheit (7° Celsius) between head (86f, 30c rounded) and toes (72f, 23c rounded). We had our own, very precise, thermometer (we always carry one) I guess the suite below us was vacant and cold. The soundproofing of the windows was also bad and the street very noisy. The bed was harder than usual. Staff had a hard time understanding English. We even had to resort, at times, to use Google translator. Overall not a 5 star hotel experience. More like a 4 stars, maybe.

연휴 주말의 약간은 비싼 가격, 엘리베이터가 수용인원 대비 부족, 대욕장이 없는 점 등이 아쉬웠습니다.

お部屋もロビーも清潔でおしゃれでとてもよかったです。お部屋のソファにちゃぶ台テーブルが付いている場所が、お茶を飲みながらゆっくり過ごすのに最適でした。朝食は広くておしゃれな空間でゆっくりバイキングを楽しめました。また、金閣寺方面などの観光にも立地が良かったです。お値段は安くなかったですが、それ以上によい滞在だったと思います。ありがとうございました。

Rent, centralt, smukt, men ikke 5 stjerner. Det udelukker dog ikke at jeg ville bo der igen.

Morgenmaden var fin for den kolde del. Der blev skåret italiensk skinke hver morgen, det var virkelig lækkert. Værelset var stort og sengen komfortabel, dejligt badeværelse. Ved ikke om der skulle være noget i minibaren. Den var i alt fald tom, så vi kunne selv proppe drikkevarer i eget køleskab., rengøring var i orden. Virkelig centralt beliggende, med direkte adgang til Takashimaya. Gå afstand til offentlig transport, til Nishiki Market, til Gion og til Yashaka Shrine, ikke at forglemme min favorit Chion-In. Meget smuk indretning af hotellet - og smuk juleudsmykning - vi var der slut november. Værelser der vender ind mod gården vil jeg gerne anbefale. Ikke dem mod gaden. Hvis jeg var sikker på et værelse mod gården, kom jeg muligvis igen.

Vores værelse lå på receptions etagen ud mod trafikeret vej. Den signaturduft alle skriver så positivt om, var ikke eksisterende i vores værelse. Der lugtede af gammel parfume, som om der ikke havde været luftet ud i meget lang tid. Ville foretrække et skrivebord med en stol i stedet for den store flyde sofa foran tv. Utrolig meget larm fra gaden om natten specielt motorcykler. Måtte sove med ørepropper, det er ikke hvad jeg forventer på et 5 stjernet hotel. Vores værelse lå som skrevet mod gaden, der var nogle store metal gitre foran vores altan, som gjorde at der ikke var nogen udsigt. Det såkaldt varme køkken til morgenmaden var koldt. Kolde overkogte æg, kold røræg, kold bacon

일단 위치 최고였습니다!! 그리고 침구류가 엄청 부드럽고 편했어요!!! 어떤 매트리스 쓰는지 궁금해요ㅠㅠ 물어보는것을 깜박했네여 ㅋㅋㅋㅋ 직원분들 너무 친절하시고!! 조식뷔페는 하루 신청해서 먹어봤는데 퀄리티도 좋고 너무 만족스러웠습니다!! 다음에 교토가게 되면 또 여기서 묵을 것 같아요~~~ 얼릉 또 가고싶네요!!!

처음에 청소가 제대로 안돼서 살짝 실망했어요ㅠ 카운터에 말씀드렸더니 그 다음부터는 제대로 깨끗히 청소 해주셨더라고요~~ 다른 아쉬운 점은 없었습니다~~

Schönes Hotel im Zentrum von Kyoto

Schönes und top ausgestattetes Hotel im Herzen von Kyoto. Von hier aus lassen sich alle Sehenswürdigkeiten sehr gut erreichen. Das Personal war - typisch für Japan - auffallend freundlich und auch ein Upgrade war gar kein Problem. Wir würden jederzeit wieder hierher kommen.

Der Weg zum Wasserspender war von unserem Zimmer etwas weit weg, sonst hat alles gepasst.

便利な場所で滞在に良いと思います。

ロケーション。朝食。いつでもお水が貰えるところ。

洗面所のミラーが暗くて　お化粧ができません。　テーブルの上に置くタイプのライト付きのミラーを置いているホテルもあったので工夫されると良いと思います。道路沿いの部屋だったせいか、夜中のパトカーの音などうるさく感じましたが、ほとんどの時間は静かでした。冬なので乾燥するため、ボディローションも欲しかったです。

Комфортный чистый отель в хорошей локации

Очень уютный отель, чистые и комфортные номера со всеми удобствами. Один из немногих отелей, где есть семейные номера и мы смогли остановиться в одном номере (нас 2 взрослых и 3 детей). В номере помимо базовых нужных вещей лежали пижамы для каждого, очень вкусный чай, кофе, органик шоколад, сумка для шоппинга. В этом же здании магазин полезной еды, а в пешей доступности большой многоэтажный шоппинг центр. Завтраки оценить не успели- рано уезжали.

Попросили консьержа забронировать место для ужина, из предложенного нами списка все уже было забронировано, она посоветовала другой ресторан с сетом для взрослых и возможностью заказать что то из меню для детей: ресторан был мягко говоря не очень, во первых мы запутались, потому что в пешей доступности от отеля есть ресторан с таким же названием, но когда он оказался закрыт нашли в письме другой адрес, туда нужно было ехать на такси, но недалеко, счет получился 76000 йен, но нам почти ничего не понравилось.

Great location, exceptional staff!

Perfect location and the staff were exceptional. The buffet breakfast was fantastic and good value Rooms were spacious. The hotel has a lovely peaceful feel to it. You could not do better

Lovely hotel, amazing location, very friendly staff. Lots of places to eat within the hotel. Would definitely stay again. It was a lovely, relaxing place to come back to after a day of exploring Kyoto.

If I had to be really picky, only thing was towels were not super fluffy.

exactly what you’d expect, great hotel - we didn’t want to leave!

- great atmosphere, well designed - comfortable beds - very relaxing - aesthetic rooms, we had top one with a balcony - comfortable robes and slippers - staff were so nice - great soundproofing - great location - a lot of things on site like restaurant, food shop, wellness stuff - will come back every time we are in Kyoto!

- that we had to leave it - although I think there were some spa facilities so if they had a swimming pool / sauna area, that would’ve been perfect

Wonderful. Perfect location.

Gorgeous facilities, helpful and friendly staff, excellent location for shopping and walking around (Pokémon store not too far and GION area also not far) We also joined the hotel’s morning stroll tour with the kids and while it was cold and a lot of walking it was perfect. We took a taxi back to the hotel. Prime location.

A little dusty in the room and the ac/humidifier didn’t work.
