A thoroughly enjoyable stay in the best property we’ve ever come across while travelling. Congratulations Wilmots!

Outstanding place to stay. Brilliantly designed and equipped- including a truly remarkable, generous breakfast each day. Nothing was too much trouble for the hosts. Would highly recommend Wilmots as the best place to stay in Alice Springs.

There was absolutely nothing not to like about this property. 10 out of 10 on every measure

Excellent.

Well organised and presented sumptuous breakfast with outstanding hospitality from the hosts. Both of them were fantastic. We have no complaints but all compliments.

Fantastic B&B

Ian and Helen were excellent hosts, providing us with all the information we needed and answering questions before we arrived and Ian was very welcoming and made us feel at home immediately with a tour of the house and facilities available to us. Our room was very comfortable consisting of the bedroom, another room with sofa and desk which was very handy and the bathroom. Everything was very clean and nicely furnished and the bed was comfortable. Breakfast in the morning was amazing with many options to choose from like coffee, tea, juice, meusli, fresh fruits, yoghurt, toast, bacon, eggs, tomatoes for cooking and much more, and to top it off Ian and Helen were there to look after things as well as have a chat and offer helpful local information for our trip. We really enjoyed our stay, wouldn't hesitate to come again and highly recommend it to others.

Delightful stay with many great extras that exceeded our expectations.

Hosts could not do enough for us. When telling hosts we were going to stay in and have a BBQ one cool evening they lit a lovely fire outside in a beautiful area for us to eat. Was also supplied with an absolute smorgasbord of food for breakfast all serve and cook yourself in their large kitchen but they insist they do all the dishes. Washing machine for travellers, TV in room, lounge area, beautiful pool, great wifi. Delightful stay that far exceeded our expectations.

A beautiful home, very comfortable stay in a quiet suburb of Alice Springs

Common areas are very comfortable and spacious. Being able to self cater with great equipment is good. The spread for breakfast is fantastic and no dishes to wash! The outside fire was lovely to relax by with the bush right up to the back gate, complete with a kangaroo and joey.

An altogether delightful stay - we’ll be back.

The place was an absolute delight. So comfortable and beautifully appointed. The breakfast was amazing. Our hosts were lovely people who made us feel so welcome and even gave us a lift to the nearby School of the Air Visitors Centre - well worth a visit.

Couldn’t fault it.

Great stay in Alice Springs

Common areas and private areas were very comfortable, clean and quite nice. The three out door areas and pool were very good. Back gate accesses an informal walk trail.

Off street but not secure parking. Quiet suburban area.

Very nice place to stay, highly recommend.

Very comfortable home stay, super friendly owner, excellent bedroom, kitchen and living room condition. Breakfast prepared by the owner was superb!

Eccezionale!

I absolutely loved this place! The house and the outdoor spaces were utterly beautiful. The room was spacious, clean and comfortable. There was a fabulous breakfast available in the morning, including cook yourself hot options. Full use of kitchen facilities and laundry. Ian and Helen were amazing hosts, very generous, welcoming and hospitable. A true home away from home. È stato bellissimo, grazie di tutto! A presto!

Fantastic experience!

The hosts Helen and Ian are great people; unbelievable helpful and excellent guides for planning your trips/hikes in the surroundings. The facilty is wonderful, well maintained and super clean… great breakfast as well!

Beautiful home, safe location, great breakfast, very very lovely and helpful hosts, cosy fire pit and night time atmosphere, great cooking space (if I wished to cook), great laundry facilities (if I'd needed to do laundry), clean and cozy room. Had everything I needed for a home away from home.

The overall experience from the way Ian and Helen greet you and they cannot do enough to ensure your stay is the most enjoyable. Everything you need is there and the continental breakfast they provide daily is above and beyond. If I was requiring accommodation in Alice Springs again, I would not look anywhere but Wilmots on Dixon to stay. I don't believe a score of 10/10 is enough. It deserves more.

Home from home & felt very welcome.

The accommodation was like home from home . Our host couldn’t do enough for us & laid out a beautiful breakfast every morning.. even drove us to our pick up point for a trip at 6.30 am . Beautiful pool which looked stunning at night time . Would highly recommend.

The full package - great accommodation, great hosts, fabulous breakfast and a great location

This is a delightful place to stay. We were looked after our whole stay, driven to pick up a hire car, given ideas on things to do, a fire was set for an evening on the terrace, and there was a fabulous breakfast set up each morning, including cook your own hot options. At the edge of town and with bush land behind the property, there was an abundance of birdlife flying overhead in the early morning as I swam in the pool. A willy wagtail nest over the pool provided endless entertainment as well. It's possible to mingle with the hosts and other guests, but the numerous private decks/terrace areas mean you can keep to yourself if you want. A far nicer place to be than in the centre of town.

There are 3 accommodation options. We stayed in the small one which is tight. When we return, we'll make sure to book one of the others that come with their own living areas.

Lovely large property with all amenities we required provided. Previous reviews regarding the breakfasts weren't exaggerated... they were lovely. We made good use of the pool and the outdoor areas . All in all a very enjoyable stay.

Really enjoyed being in an B&B after a week of hotels great to be able to cook for ourselves!

Beautiful bed and breakfast accommodation. Very well stocked and well maintained. Breakfast a treat with home made muffins thrown in.
