"PREIMUM" updated mountain front 2 BR suite inside The Appalachian Hotel located at the base of the Mountain Ski, Bike and Water Park Resort.
This beauty features one king size bed, 2 queen beds, a living room area with a pullout sofa, fireplace (gas or electric), full kitchen with an oven, large fridge, microwave, K-cup coffee-maker, toaster, 6 person dining table, and 2 full bathrooms.
THE LOCATION
Vernon Township is in Sussex County New Jersey, USA. It is located about 1 hour from New York City and was established on April 8, 1793. Iron mining was prevalent during the mid-to-late 19th century. Mines such as Canister Mine, Williams Mine, and the Pochuck Mine created industry which spawned local businesses and brought rail travel to the town.
Today Vernon and the immediate area is an outdoor lover’s paradise. Here you will find a landscape consisting of residential and resort communities, farmland, apple orchards, pumpkin patches, bird watching, barns, horse farms and stables, lakes, fishing, and just so much natural beauty. The famous Appalachian Trail (AT) even runs through it! You will be amazed on what you will find only 1 hour outside of New York City.

The condo is lovely. Nice linens, towels, etc. nice amenities as well. We enjoyed the hot tub and heated swimming pool. Tubing was so much fun for the family! Would certainly return.

We loved staying at this property. My family and my in laws enjoyed the spacious unit that had everything we needed for a great weekend. Close to the elevators, beautifully decorated and great kitchen. We had a great time and can highly recommend. Thank you.

Fantastic
The most relaxing holiday for mum and enjoyable and exciting for the kids snowboarding for 3 days. We stayed here last year and had a wonderful time, but arrived to find the condo had been updated to the highest of standards. It was so luxurious I had to buy my daughter an UGG comforter when we got home as she was spoilt sleeping in UGG bedding for our stay ! Can’t wait to get back next January A simply wonderful family getaway

The property was quiet and family friendly. The amenities were perfect, we spent one whole day poolside. The listing noted it was wheelchair accessible, but the walk in shower had no grab bars. Next time I will ask what is available for those who are handicapped. Otherwise it was exactly what we needed for visiting family in the area. This was my seventh experience with VRBO and will continue to use them.

We stayed in this condo for our nephew’s COVID-19-micro-wedding. The condo overlooks the pool and the mountain. It was fun to watch the mountain bikers as they made their way down the mountain. The condo had everything we needed, the kitchen was very well equipped, beds were comfortable and the place was very clean. Staff at the resort was courteous and helpful. Will definitely stay here again.

Awesome Condo on the Mountain
This place is wonderful, very well maintained and convenient to Mountain Creek facilities. Gerry (property manager) was easy to work with and very responsive. Even more so he accommodated a change in dates on short notice due to weather conditions without hesitation which was exceptionally nice and not part of the contract. We appreciated working with him and will definitely go back to this or one of his properties in the future.

We had another great stay at Gerry’s 2 bedroom condo. The rooms are clean and bright and the kitchen is great for family visits with a full size refrigerator, stove and microwave.

Great location, view & condo
We had a great stay here. The room was clean and spacious with a beautiful view off the balcony. It was located in a great spot close to Mountain Creek, Crystal Springs, and a bunch of great places to visit. We will definitely be back!

Great place at Mt Creek Resort
Very spacious comfortable property, can comfortably fit 6 adults (site says 8 but it's a little crowded with 8), the property was very clean with the exception of a couple areas in the kitchen, the kitchen is fully furnished which is great, very comfortable beds, property manager provided excellent customer service, if having TV is important for you we had no access, had access to resort Wifi, we stayed for the Spartan Beast and it is a perfect location, about 5 min. down the street from the venue with easy free shuttle service from the hotel, ample parking, loved going to Smokey's restaurant, would definitely recommend this property to others

Great weekend of skiing
This condo was nice and clean with all the necessary amenities for a comfortable weekend away. We enjoyed the easy access to the lifts, the heated outdoor pool and hot tub, and the arcade.

What a wonderful condo!! Perfect for our family, the bedrooms and bathrooms were a great size. The kitchen was clean and well equipped. The view from the balcony is terrific!! We were able to see our kids go on the ski lift and come down the slope!! We will definitely be back. Thanks so much for the great memory!!

Excellent accommodations, except for the awkward parking garage access and departure. Ended up parking on the roof. It was easier access. Otherwise everything else was fine. Numerous surrounding area accommodations and attractions were available, but not needed due to short stay.

The Appalachian at Mountain Creek, Vernon, NJ
My family and wanted a much needed break after a particularly difficult year and the condo at at Mountain Creek was the perfect setting. The location was great and easy to get to - the apartment itself was well kept and had everything we needed to be comfortable. Will definitely visit again.

SPLENDID CHOICE
Our large family booked this beautiful room in this magnificient hotel for our weekend skiing. We had a very effective night sleep in the convenient beds, kids and adults had their own bathrooms so we needn't hurry one another up to take a shower of clean teeth. Kitchen was amazing - oh, we loved all the appliances, dishes for our endless salads and snacks, and a roomy fridge for our family. While washing dishes or cooking you mostly face to the dinning table and it's great for the communication or to the window with slopes view which is also great.
Yes! Window view is exactly what we love. Morning starts with observing the slopes, lifts ready to pick up the skiers and riders so that our kids ate faster to get to the slope quicker.
The stuff of the hotel is assistive, welcoming and courteous. We LOVED our booking!

Great Summer Stay
My family really needed a quick getaway this summer. This condo was very nice & we really appreciated the way the bedrooms were set up. The king bed was very comfortable & master bath beautiful. The 3 kids were very comfortable on the 2 queen beds in the 2nd bedroom with its own bath. Each morning we made wonderful breakfasts in the kitchen (when we needed a cookie sheet, the housekeeper just happened to be dropping off linens and found us 1!). We loved the pool & jacuzzis, the Soaring Eagle, and the roller coaster. Place was just perfect for us!

Needed a place to stay during our trip to jersey to see my nephew graduate hs..my sister lives 20 minutes away from condo though no room in her house for us to stay....so fortunate to find Gerry's condo..plenty of room and great views..will stay there again..
