Fine

Motel was unpretentious and friendly. All the things you'd expect in a motel were provided: comfortable bed, good internet, reliable shower with good hot water. Not over the top but we didn't pay for OTT.

we ended up unable to stay as our room wasn't cleaned - we arrived around 6pm.

We ended up not able to stay here as we had arrived and the management had put a bloke on his first day in charge of cleaning the entire venue and checking every one in and it was clear he hadn't been given enough training. Absolutely not his fault, he was left with a very complicated and high work load with not enough time or people to help him. The rooms weren't cleaned and another duo who were waiting on their room were very rude to the young man and he got very upset. It was no problem for us to find accomodation further down the road - but a note to management, Treat your staff better and you'll find problems like this won't arise.

Quiet, had aircon, good location close to shops

Our room smelled strongly of smoke (as if someone had been chain smoking in there, some towels and clothing from previous guests left in bathroom.

Phone number is hard to find and think use need one detail cleaner room had items of rubbish under the bed

Clean, Comfortable with everything you need in the room. Motel is starting to show it's age but it has a lot of positives. Manager was very helpful.

The motel suited me fine. Maybe it needs a facelift to suit people who are more fussy than me.

We needed a budget property to shower & sleep and the Toukley Motel was good for this purpose.

Situated conveniently close to Toukley shops. The shower in our room was excellent. The bed was good.

The bathroom needed repainting and a small amount of mould removed and another patron stole our designated parking spot on the first night.
