Probably the best B&B we’ve ever stayed in - the most wonderful, warm, welcoming place with lovely high end touches too. fantastic breakfast!

The property was so inviting, cosy and comfortable with such beautiful decor. Hazel was such a thoughtful and welcoming host; she really couldn’t have done more for us and we felt so immediately at home. Hazel manages to perfectly strike the balance of making you feel so welcome and looked after, whilst also leaving you to your own devices and privacy. Not only did we leave Hazels property feeling like we’d made a friend, we were full to the brim with some of the best homemade cakes and breakfast we’ve ever had! a truly wonderful blissful stay. We felt very privileged and grateful to have shared Hazels peaceful retreat.
There is nothing to dislike about this property. If I had to choose something it’s that we both bashed our heads on a low door frame but we learned our bearings quickly and only did it once!

Hazel is absolutely lovely and her cottage is the pretties we've stayed in so far! Such a beautifully renovated character house, with all the modern day facilities. Waking up in the morning to the beautiful garden was such a treat. Perfect also if cycling, we stored our bikes safely overnight.

The accommodation -a beautiful cottage, wonderfully decorated and maintained with everything you could want was full of Hazel's tasteful little touches. Nothing was too much trouble for Hazel. Breakfast was special - with homemade, warmed bread and conserves and eggs fresh from her lovely hens. A truly wonderful host.
Unfortunately we could not spend as much time with Hazel said we would have liked as Anne is allergic to cats -even though the place was pointlessly clean and we never saw the cat, Anne suffered wheeziness when down stairs.

Location is rural however very peaceful and not difficult to get too amenities with your own transport. Hazel the owner really does go the extra mile to provide and care for her guests comfort in all ways. All produce is fresh and home cooked her bread and preserves are exceptional. Would recommend without reservation. Will return if within the locality

Hazel was a most attentive and helpful host . Hot drinks always available ( and cake ! )
The room and en suite were beautifully decorated and many extras were available.
Fresh flowers were delightful .
Because of location mobile phone and television reception were not good . However Hazel allowed use of the land line when necessary .

Everything else!
House beautiful, with lots of character, and Hazel is a lovely host.
Parking is a little way down the hill so maybe better to unload bags by the gate and then park if raining.

It filled our hearts with love and happiness from the moment we stepped into Hazels home until the moment we closed the gate to leave. Warm, cozy, relaxing, welcoming and everything a professional couple needed to relax and unwind.
The food is amazing. Hazel is an excellent cook and we were treated to some delicious delights, all home made. Hazel puts her heart and soul into her hospitality. It has to be the best b&b experience we have ever had. Everything was spot on and we both feel rested as we begin our onward journey to Cornwall.

A nice quiet cottage away from it all. The hostess Hazel was brilliant and looked after all our needs.
