The Cottage is absolutely beautiful. The lovely owners have thought of everything you could possibly need to make your stay more relaxing and enjoyable. The bed is so comfortable, the living room is so cosy especially with the fire. The kitchen also has everything you need. The cottage is in the perfect location with cafes, shops and pubs literally on the doorstep and a 2-3 minute walk to the beach.
I honestly cannot think of anything not to like.

Location good. It was self catering
It was the coldest week of year by far. Minus degrees when we arrived. We know heating is expensive but we do think given the temperature the heating could have been on when we arrived. It was freezing.

Lovely setting with an excellent pub next door.
A cosy cottage which was well-equipped and had comfortable beds.
Excellent information provided about the local area and host responded very quickly.
Parking bay provided was useful.
No fault of the cottage,we should have done our research, my son who is a big lad of 6 foot 3 struggled with the access to the attic room and the low ceilings in the accommodation.

amazing location in a beautiful village!!

The cottage is very cute, in a perfect location in central Staithes, walkable to all areas of the town. There is a small pub next door and independent shops within a 30 second walk. The cottage has an allocated parking space at the top of the town. The cottage has a well-equipped kitchen. It is dog friendly.
Some areas inside the cottage would benefit from re-decorating as it looks a bit tired. e.g. loft room ceiling.

cottage full of character, very well equipped and with parking and in a great location
noisy seagulls! 😆

location very good.
1. The access to second bedroom was by very narrow steep stairs/steps with low ceiling. Felt unsafe to carry suitcase up whilst using them.
2. There is a steeply sloping downward floor access to kitchen from the living room. It is a dark area with no light.

Excellent location. Clean and everything you would require for q relaxing break.

Next door to the royal George pub! Comfy bed
Only 1 toilet roll for the weekend!

A very traditional cottage on a lovely street. The property looks small from street level but is actually very spacious inside, and has all the things you'd need within. It was literally a minutes walk towards the beach, or across the bridge to the other side of the harbour. Some cosy cafes and pubs opposite and next door too.

The Cottage is a lovely cosy and quaint little place in the heart of Staithes. it had everything we could possibly need for our stay. The cottage is lovely & warm with a great log burner. Over the years we have stayed at many different places by t this is our favourite.

Cottage well equipped. Quirky and quaint.
Warm and cosy . Kitchen very easy to work in . Good location. Could go in any direction for a walk . Excellent communication from Bev 🙂
Too many chipped plates and some un usable oven trays which should be thrown out. Never really managed the rubbish system! but understand the difficulty.

Warm, comfy and cosy, and historical, it has all your needs covered to see Staithes and beyond.
Nothing. Absolutely no moans. See above. It's great!

Too many protectors on bed kept bunching up every time i rolled over. Several plates and glasses had chips in. Television reception was very poor.

Cosy, quaint cottage with unusual features in the heart of the village. Very clean and tidy. Nice and warm in the cold weather.
It was very noisy early in the morning particularly from the alleyway immediately underneath the front bedroom. The pub owner next door dragged bins etc along the alley at 5.30am talking loudly to neighbours!
The council car park was closed for resurfacing during our stay so we had to climb a steep cliff path to the Cowbar car park.
