No Restaurant, no mosquito nets, bathroom in bad condition, everything a little bit neglected - but we got a little discount.

- Интернет очень плохой и постоянно вылетает, поэтому съехали раньше срока, но деньги за день никто не вернул. те люди, кто поставил оценку интернету 10, скорее всего только в месседжере сидели - завтраки есть нельзя, - бассейн грязный осталась очень недовольна

Memorable Stay... will come again...

Wow, what a stay. We kept talking about it days after we left. The rooms were very spacious with balconies. The room that we had was with sea view. The Balconies were big enough to have a 10-15 people party. There is also a pool in the resort which we did not use but was very clean. We also had our dinner in the resort and next day breakfast. The food was excellent and left us totally satisfied.

Very good

rooms are very spacious and lovely and clean. Breakfast was served quickly which suited me as i needed to leave early. Lovely cup of tea on arrival. Staff very friendly and interested in guests.

Noise from other guests travels and was loud even at night when trying to sleep.

Great place to stay in Tangalle - Recommended!!!

Amazing place. Great location close to the beach and also the town centre. Delicious breakfast and friendly staff. Room was very big, nice and clean. Price was very good for the room. Great value and highly recommended. Private entrance and spacious balconies for each room.

Lovely place in Tangalle city. Five stars ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

We had a lovely one night stay at Moonstone. Such a relaxing place and we travelled with our toddler so it was nice having such a calm place. The staff was very friendly and they have an in-house restaurant with good food. Their thin crust pizza is a must try. We did turtle watching in Rekawa and from transport to tickets and everything was arranged by the hotel. Room was nice and tidy and we requested for a cot for the little one and they had it arranged when we arrived in the room. If you are lucky you will get to see peacocks roaming around in the property 😊 Can without doubt recommend this place.

Nothing really. If I had to pick one it would be the size of the pool. It was average sized but didn’t bother us as it was good enough for our family and the pool was very clean.

Beautiful place in Tangalle - Highly recommended!!

A unique place, Fantastic, smiling and friendly staff, with whom you can easily contact. Pool was small but clean. The hotel itself in an ideal location - supposedly close to the beach (just across the road ) We tried pizza at the restaurant and it was the best pizza we had from a long time. A must try if you are in Tangalle. The room itself is sensational - a great terrace with a view, comfortable beds, fresh linen and towels and everything that will ensure a comfortable stay. There is a big balconyfor each room. - I recommend this place in Tangalle. We will definitely be back!

Super hotel.

We had nice accommodation in the evening, the air conditioning broke down without any problems, at 22:30 in the evening they gave us the same room. The place is excellent, the beach is just 100m from the accommodation, it is beautiful. The staff was very helpful, we were very satisfied. I recommend this is the second hotel I have visited in Sri Lanka well deserved 10 points. Great everything. Thank you.

A place that with attention to detail and new staff would be amazing.

The bed was very comfortable The owner Darshan was fantastic responding to our issues at the property. This property could be absolutely fantastic with attention to detail and the personal owners touch. Spring rolls in the restaurant.

I have had to seriously think about if i was to write a review or not because i really do not like giving a bad review and do not like affecting their future bookings but i have decided it is important to tell my story so it doesn't happen again. We booked two rooms months before our stay and they knew we were arriving. Upon arrival the manager was not on site and the cleaner showed us to our rooms. Immediately we knew the place was not clean. I wont subject you to the photos as the owner has these and can deal with it. All i can say is there had been no cleaning in here for months and months and the only thing that was clean was the bed and clean sheets. The water came in to the villa with huge amount of air in the system , showing it had not even been turned on to clean the bathroom. I will not go in detail about every part of the cleanliness but it was dirty and i felt dirty and could not settle. It ruined our two days holiday. The owner gave us 15% discount to say sorry but the money was not the point really, its the principle. The owner was in New Zealand and things are happening here that should not be. My honest opinion is the cleaner should not be in the job, he has a bad attitude and there is no cleaning The manager did not check the cleaners work for our arrival so i can only think since covid standards have slipped. The restaurant food was awful except for the spring rolls. I have not even brought the food up to the owner as i just couldn't cope anymore with the property and could not wait to leave. Chicken burger.. no sign of any chicken... wafer thin pieces of all i could describe as salami. Club Sandwiches - no chicken in the sandwich at all, no lettuce, ..... coleslaw was in the sandwich... meant to be on the side. Fish curry.... i was given a small bowl of curry..fish was awful, frozen i would say and full of bones ... NO RICE . I HOPE THE OWNER SORTS THIS AS IT COULD BE AN AMAZING PLACE WITH ATTENTION TO DETAIL

Very good

Very well built complex, distinctive privacy particularly for rooms located on top floor. All rooms are huge. Short walk to the beach and plenty of parking.

Breakfast on my second day was particularly disappointing. Two staff in the kitchen made me wait 40 minutes for a ridiculously tiny portion of food, and I was the only guest having breakfast at that time.

The room was very large and clean, the location is right on the street, so it's not so easy to get a tuk tuk or the next bus stop is a little further on foot. The breakfast was ok but nothing special. The staff is awhe friendly and tried hard.

TV didn’t work, no coffee or tea in room, room door was extremely difficult to open and close with a key so I gave up and didn’t lock the door ( not safe when travelling)

Fabulous stay in Tangalle 😊

We had an excellent stay at Moonstone Villas. It can be challenging when traveling with a 1 year old. But we had a stress free stay thanks to the staff here. They were nice enough to provide food for the baby whenever I asked and exactly the way I requested. They have an in-house restaurant with a good menu. Oh and they have yummy thin crust pizzas. It’s a must try. The room was spacious and tidy. We had enough space to keep the travel cot and still move around the room given that this was a room and not an expensive suite. Luggage benches in these rooms are fantastic. The owner was very helpful and arranged transport from the hotel to Yala the next day for us and provided packed breakfast for us too. Great value for money and we had a very pleasant stay. Wish our stay in Tangalle was longer. Will definitely come back and stay longer at this cosy place.

Comfortable bed, but far from the main beach

The bed was comfortable, it’s a huge room because of the high ceiling.

The bathroom wasn’t cleaned properly and the pool didn’t look inviting either. It’s located far from the beach where there are normally a lot of restaurants. However, almost everything was closed so we just stayed one night in Tangalle. We were the only guests.

Actually, this was our second stay and we very much enjoyed staying here the food was very nice and the size of the portion is really nice too staff is very friendly & very quiet and relaxing environment.

No laundry facilities, the room was not cleaned properly found dead roaches but didn't make it an issue though. could have activated a few movie channels on DTV.

Very basic, not well taken care of

The staff was quite nice and the safari they organized for us was amazing. The beach is only 100m by walking and it wasnt crowded at all.

The pictures in here are too old, the rooms are not well taken care of, it was dirty and the rooms were too dark. There was dust everywhere and you couldnt even Look in the Mikroo, it was that dirty. You could hear the road and it was quite loud. They tried to make some changes in the room and left holes in the wall, where the AC was once. The breakfast was nice, but the pizzas were awful. The food in general wasnt really fresh, but there are restaurants on the beach, where it was okay. Even the pool was dirty.

Very nice hotel. We had a room overlooking the garden and a nice swimming pool. Very nice staff. Helpful nice. Very large breakfast. We had continental and Sri Lanka breakfast. We highly recommend this hotel.

Spacious, comfy room closer to the beach

Spacious, comfy room clean, having tea/coffee and toiletries in the bathroom. We booked the place at the last moment, just 15 mins before arrival at 9pm in the night. No issue encountered at the check in. The room was ready in no time. Good breakfast. There was a cloth rack in the patio, where you can use to dry the beachwear.

Even though it says a beachfront property, no access to the beach within the property. Needs to cross the main road and walk 100m to reach at the beach. A bottle of water in the room would have been very useful. Basic bathroom, it would have been great if there was a partition/curtain for the shower as the whole bathroom gets wet when using the shower.

Superb

Friendly staff, good size of the room, comfortable bed. Refrigerator in room. Nice pool. Best breakfast in Sri Lanka. Not always the same. Great swimming beach very close. quite area. A bit off the beaten track. For more Restaurants you should take tuktuk. Overall i enjoyed and recommend this place.
