It had all the home comforts and all the staff were soo friendly ❤️
I have one request … It would be nice to install a magnifying mirror for the ladies with a light .. as your lighting in bedroom too dim ! The green grass in the room is hard under your feet ! A rug would be sooo much better and comfortable ❤️

Nyasha, you are truly an asset to the Hotel! We loved everything from the min we got there. The location itself, met the tranquil and luxurious expectation! It is so beautiful, calming and peaceful, the staff was amazing, and The food- simply wow! Chanel, at the spa- thank you for ending our stay so perfectly with the brilliant recommendation - It is by far one our best treatments we have experienced!

Breakfasts were great and the staff were more than willing to change the menu to fit my needs. Everyone was so friendly and helpful, it felt like being part of a big family.
The food was always fresh and of excellent quality. We used the Spa and had one of the best spa days ever, very impressed.
Maybe the outlook from from room could be better with such lovely vista's near by.

The decor was really lovely and the mattress was really outstanding- extremely comfortable. We ordered an iron and ironing board and it arrived within minutes. The stack doors made a huge difference to the temperature of the room during load shedding. Bootleggers coffee is delicious and the machine worked during load shedding. The bath and shower were a nice size. Breakfast was lovely and well presented.
The parking and access to the rooms was odd. The steps were steep and there was no assitance in sight for the luggage which needed to be carried up. My Mom is 75 years old and even at my age- 54, it is not customary to have to drag your luggage up such steep steps. We were told by the manager that a sign in the parking area tells you to call for assistance- or "why didnt you park at the Spa then?" to which we replied that there is a massive sign at the Spa saying that guest were not to park there unless they had an appointment at the Spa. We checked again on leaving and we did not see this sign. It is not clearly demarcated or not there at all. Could a sign and a bell not be placed at the bottom of the stairs?
There was nobody at the "reception desk" which was cluttered with paperwork etc. Absolutely no welcome whatsover. We had to ask if this was were one checks in and a waitress called a gentleman. Then a shift was coming to an end for some kitchen staff and stood at that counter chatting noisily around the desk.
One can hear every word the neighbouring guests were saying and there was a rowdy group that made a huge noise.
Once we had had our breakfast, we asked if we could pay a tip for the guest house staff but the waitress just put it though the restaurant card machine so who knows were the money went? Waiters or Management? Things in that area seem to be very loosely managed. We asked for a manager to describe the step situation and she was grumpy and not at all interested in what we were saying. She did offer to carry one suitcase down though. The Zimbabwean Manager we met the day before by chance when we went to order drinks was way more hospitable.

Surely it is a nice place but calling this “luxury” it is a bit too much.
Unfortunately the first night we slept in cold because the air conditioning was broken (fixed the following day but still had to be checked before our arrival).
Place is anyway relaxing and in the middle of the nature.
The Spa little and too expensive, pity.
Unfortunately we haven’t liked our dinner at the restaurant, it was completely tasteless.

Breakfast is beautiful, as is room, and everything else. Clean, comfy beds, crisp linen. Love the fireplace in winter
Since we have been there in winter time, the shower experience this time round wasn't good. The water was cold.
