The port was across the street. the location was ideal. Ocean front w/ balcony. I love the old world furniture in the room. I opened one of the cabinets and found old pictures and hand crafted items. the shower was bigger than most and was able to shave, a plus in Italy.
Because your in the center of the city there was street noise.

- Great location
- External bathroom is private (but still external, as it was in the room description)
- It was pretty dark in the room

fantastic view of the port, kind and helpful staff.

Room was fantastic, very spacy. Very clean. Building with a lot of charme and character.
Italian breakfast is not what we're used to, we would prefer fresh bread instead of biscuits packed in plastic. But that is everywhere the same in Italy. So no blame to just Domus Cicerone. Street noise, but that was because of Saturday night...
3.5
great location convenient to the station and port. clean and rooms good size, lovely towels and comfortable bed.
the host was extremely welcoming and helpful. the property is a lovely apartment in an attractive old building and seems well looked after. I particularly loved the family history and photographs which is a lovely touch.
the room was also fairly quiet, given its location and the music event happening in the park opposite (my room was to the rear)
a simple breakfast is included, around a communal table in the kitchen - a nice start to the day.
no outlook from my room and opened onto the interior access terrace which meant I could not leave a window open at night (the room has French doors only).
the en-suite bathroom in my room was tiny - particularly narrow - making it difficult to use (and I am relatively young and able bodied). the decision to have a bidet cramps it even further.
The main issue was the price - very overpriced for a September weekend. at a more reasonable price this would be a great value option, but I didn’t feel it was worth the €120+ a night especially when compared to my Rome prime location accommodation the night before, at a similar rate.
4.5
Wonderful location overlooking port area with amazing panoramic views from wee balcony of historic building
The room was huge with old time elegance.
Wifi excellent
Host was very welcoming. Great communication. Despite change in arrival time due to bus issue no worries. Midday check in so much appreciated.
Breakfast lovely expresso cappuccino and fresh fruit provided for a plant based diet
All good as above
Minor point unusual plumbing noises

Marco, the owner, was very helpful and welcoming. He kindly allowed me to check out later.
The apartment is in a historic building in a pleasant area. It is conveniently located near the train station and via Vitruvio with a lot of cafes and restaurants.
Although the room is non-smoking, it smelled of tobacco a bit.

Friendly personal, good service

everything! we had to use a place in Formia before going off to Ponza and Marco’s B&B worked perfectly. He offered a car park, and offer his assistance in everything we needed. the rooms are lean and pleasant. The room with sea view is exceptional.
I can hardly think of anything

centrally located beautiful and large room equipped with original antique furniture with a friendly and welcoming host Marco - thank you for your hospitality!
just the external bathroom was a little bit inconvenient

4.6
The owner (Marco) is extremely friendly and very helpful. The location is superb, and is a great base for exploring the wider area. Very close to fantastic restaurants and shops. The room was incredibly spacious and lovely. Comfortable beds, comfortable pillows, and the view from the room was beautiful. Breakfast is plentiful. Will definitely stay again when I am in Formia next.
