The entire stay was fantastic and very pleasant. The rooms, the whole atmosphere of the place was perfect, elegant and relaxing. The view from the pool & the restaurant was very nice, you look at the landscape of vineyards. The staff and owner were very kind, helpful. We wished we had stayed longer.

Just wow! What a place. It's difficult to put into words what makes Chateau Prieure Marquet so special. We stayed for three nights as our honeymoon and had the most magical time. We stayed in the Sauvignon room with the freestanding bath tub, and it was absolutely wonderful, with gorgeous views over the vineyards. We actually had the whole chateau to ourselves, which of course was wonderful, but it's not a very big place anyway, so I imagine it retains the intimate feel even with other guests there. Julien, Richard and the rest of the team really made us feel so thoroughly welcome and the food is next level. Whatever you do, make sure you book at least one evening meal here - you won't regret it. We ate some of the very best food of our lives every night, and of course the wine is superb and very reasonably priced for what it is. There are so many memories from our days there that will stuck in our minds for a long, long time: drinks on the terrace watching the sunset, swimming in the pool(s) under the stars, driving the jeep out into the middle of the vines for a lunchtime picnic and more. We took a trip out to Saint Emilion one afternoon, and spent a day in Bordeaux, both of which were great, but it was honestly hard to tear ourselves away from the chateau. We can't wait to come back!
Having to come home.

This property is absolutely gorgeous!! It’s was beyond or expectations.. The Château is so unique and very well manicured. Julienne was a great host and the chef Richarde and his wife Danielle are the most kindest and nicest people we have ever met. The wines and the Dinner was 5 star ⭐️ ⭐️ ⭐️ ⭐️ ⭐️ all the way. we can’t wait to come back to this chateau.. Thank you for the great memories!!
There is nothing negative to say..

The total absence of pretension that normally goes hand in hand with fine old properties that have been modernised to this level. Delightful management and staff.
I really can’t think of a single thing

This property is a splurge but nonetheless is an experience seasoned travelers will appreciate and find much value in. The Chateau has been lovingly restored and no expense spared in its' restoration. The appointments inside are unbelievable with quirky original art, collector's vehicles, fabulous furniture and furnishings and a staff that is professional, friendly and down to earth. The owners are hands on and very approachable...they are there daily and involved in the care of guests, doing much of the detail work and orchestrating the teamwork of staff and assuring excellent hospitality that only passionate owners can do. The kitchen was quite a gourmet surprise. S. Richard is a creative chef and you will not be disappointed with his offerings. As a foodie myself I was impressed with many of his dishes but my favorite being his deconstructed paella. Bravo Richard!! The operators Beatrice and Bernard have a special synergy, style, knowledge, and other attributes we truly appreciated. They even arranged a horseback ride through the vineyard which was a long time fantasy of my wife. Special kudos also to Julien, Alexia, Elsa, Daniella, Pierre-Henri for connecting with us and treating us to 5+Star service. By the way their wine is delightful and fairly priced as was our total experience. We are impressed and grateful for Chateau Prieure Marquet and you will be too.
the internet was not always connecting for us.

I loved the location of this property. It was beautiful and clean and met our needs. The chef was wonderful and and it was conveniently located to Saint-Émilion. While we were staying at the property there was a large group of other tourists that the host seemed very preoccupied with. It's not that he wasn't accommodating to us, but it felt at times like we were forgotten about. For example, he offered for us to do a wine tasting and then never followed up, so we never actually got to do the tasting (except a few table wines at dinner that the server did not seem to know much about), offered to write down recommendations on a piece of paper for us and then never did. This was disappointing as I was hoping that would be a main part of the experience of staying at the Chateau. Just things like this. I think he was just preoccupied with the other guests, but it didn't feel that wonderful to be us. Otherwise the stay was amazing and the Chef paid great attention to us throughout the dinner - we got to sample an amazing cheese that was one of the best we had in France!

A stunning property, in a beautiful area surrounding by lovely scenery. The people were fantastic, incredibly welcoming and gracious. The dinner that evening was outstanding and the whole place felt very welcoming.
The room was a touch expensive for what it was, just missing a few touches, and the breakfast could be improved slightly.

The cook Richard is as unique as his dishes introducing new ideas and flavors he has experienced while traving the world. It is just great to experience such unique and beautiful places like this rebuild chateaux and keep running with charme and passion. We just booked an extension...
