I recently had the pleasure of spending three nights at Four Points by Sheraton Jakarta, and I am thrilled to share that my experience was nothing short of exceptional. From the moment I stepped into the hotel, I was impressed by the warm and personalized service that set the stage for a memorable stay. Upon arrival, I was pleasantly surprised to be greeted by name—a small but meaningful touch that made me feel immediately welcome and valued. This level of personalized attention is a hallmark of excellent service, and it was clear that the staff at Four Points by Sheraton Jakarta truly understands the importance of making guests feel at home. The breakfast offerings were fantastic. Each morning, I was greeted with a diverse and delicious selection of food that catered to a variety of tastes and dietary preferences. Whether I was in the mood for a hearty meal or something lighter, the buffet had it all. The quality and freshness of the food were exceptional, and the breakfast team worked tirelessly to ensure everything was perfect. The room itself was a haven of cleanliness and comfort. It was evident that great care had been taken to maintain high standards of hygiene and upkeep. The attention to detail in the room’s design and amenities contributed to a restful and enjoyable stay. Terrible and repulsive

nothing go well. I was very disappointed. This is my worse stay in Jakarta

the sink was stuck and I called the reception to fix this issue. To my disgust, there was a living cockroach at the ear piece.

Clean, Great Location, Cheap

Near to Grand Indonesia and Plaza Indonesia. Clean and big rooms at a very decent rate. Highly absorbent towels.

Oldish lobby and lifts which are shared with the bank. Can be quite noisy from the traffic at night especially with the convoy sirens. Hotel is considerate about it and provides ear plugs.

My Experience

Location was excellent. Food was tasty and of good quality..

The hotel is rather old. Towels etc reflected age altho' shower was good. Light in bathroom dim - Was unable to properly apply makeup. There was a smell in the reception area, presumeably from the spray used to disinfect the premises. It was unpleasant.

Needs a revamp quickly

My room was clean and comfy. The toilet was very nice and so were the beds. Location was a little out of the way, but i was only there for a night.

The hallway was looking rather shabby and old. Hallway walls were peeling and needed a fresh coat of paint badly.

Best location to Tanah Abang and close to Sarinah

Love the location activity near Sarinah is the best thing and buffet spread. I choose the hotel because its a bit far from Grand Indonesia which is so busy but still close to the mall and bus station. Easy to get bajai and Grab.

The hotel window are not noise seal so at night loud noise from the traffic. Cant do anything about the traffic but the hotel can try to install better window seal to reduce the noise. The room facing the river is not nice so i recommend to put up some shield. The residential view is ok no problem.

Disappointing

Actually, I can't get well sleep during my stay. Because it's very noisy although my room isn't facing the road. I heard the loudspeaker every morning at 4:45am. I should be waiting for all my neighbor went back room and went to bed, then I can have a rest to sleep. Every night should be gets sleep after 2:00am.

The bed is very comfortable and the staff is very kindly and nice to talk.

Superb place to stay for a short visit

The hotel is well located. Within walking distance of the MRT station, and shopping centers, where you can also eat. Very friendly staff. Special thanks to Michelle from the front desk and the restaurant manager (unfortunately I did not ask his name), they took great care of us at breakfast. There were a couple of moments that pleasantly surprised me, so I can honestly say that the attitude towards the guests is at the highest level. The breakfast is just superb. This is not my first hotel in Jakarta, so I can definitely say it – the large selection of both Asian and European cuisine, very good coffee (it is really seldom to meet in hotels), and special thanks to the Chef for the penne with vegetables. The room is small, but clean and has everything you need for a couple of nights of staying.

Sometimes you can find that the hotel looks a bit tired. The walls and carpets in corridors need some renovation. We had 2 rooms and 1 room had a big.... huge column in the middle (see photo)... very strange. The room is already small, and this column (by the way, this is not part of the frame, it is empty inside), eats up a lot of space. The room becomes very small and uncomfortable. The second our room was normal. The hotel is located on a pretty noisy street. I cannot say that it was noisy in the room and I cannot sleep but the sound of passing motorcycles was clearly audible. The hotel bar that we try to visit in the evening was not good. Finally, we did not order anything. They don't have watermelon juice, they don't have strawberry juice they even don't have orange juice... So strange for the bar in 4 stars hotel.

People go to hotels to rest. If one can’t get a good rest there, then what is the point?

Arya from FO and the HK team who left a note (Cindy & Alya) and the rest of the F&B team during breakfast were the only highlight from my stay. I complained about the bed sheet not clean enough and Arya changed my room immediately. I was also given comp breakfast. Very nice of them to do so. HR did a very good job in recruiting them.

NOISE. I could not get a proper sleep AT ALL due to the motorcycle noises from the main road which oddly enough always started from 10pm until 3-4am. During the day was quieter. Light sleepers will not be able to sleep at all. Heard that this hotel used to be an office building hence the absence of proper insulation in the first place. It is not fair to rely heavily on staff to ensure good overall stay experience. The hotel must also improve the facilities.
