We had a wonderful time! Great location, quiet and relaxing

The cabin was very comfortable and everything was as described. We enjoyed the cabin, dock and definitely the canoe and kayak. There were a few small issues like figuring out how to light the grill but overall it was a very pleasant week.

We enjoyed our stay. Property was secluded in the woods which was great for the high temperatures during the week we visit. Owners were kind and kept us updated on an internet outage issue, even check in to make sure it was resolved.

This was a great quiet relaxing place to stay. The hosts were wonderful. Answered all our questions. The listing was everything that it said it was. The only negative thing is that the beds were not made. We didn't realize that until we went to go to bed. We had to put the sheets on ourselves. And you have to wash them and put them away before you leave. The dryer takes a long time to dry the clothes. I think the vent needs cleaned. Overall it was a very nice place to stay. I would stay there again and would reccomend it to you.

We enjoyed the cabin and the convenience to stores and restaurants and the access outback to the lake.

Overall satisfaction far exceeded expectations! Great host and cabin!

Real nice home to stay at if you want to visit Lake Anna. Comfortable home, lots of space, big deck and space down by the dock. Kayaks and a canoe to use (we used the canoe, nice quiet arm off the main channel. Caught panfish and some catfish off the dock. Grocery store, restaurants, brewery/cidery very close by. Relaxing and will likely come back again.

My family enjoyed this great little getaway. The place was perfect for my family and I. It had all the amenities that we needed and the location was perfect for our needs. The canoe, kayaks, hammocks and fire pit were just a perfect little addition to enjoy. Great communication with the host. I would definitely stay there again.

Pictures do not do this place justice. Beautiful cabin. Very spacious. Cool bunks for school age kids. WiFi and local TV worked great. Kayaks were a lot of fun. Such a quiet surreal cove at Lake Anna. We caught bass and blue gill off the pier. Good Lion 3 minutes away. Pizza shop next to Food Lion. Hope to return some day.

This is a charming place to stay for a long weekend. We love the wood stove and the coziness. Some aspects of the furnishings are a little dated, but still comfortable.

This place was EVERYTHING we hoped it would be! Relaxing, fun, family time. The whole family LOVED being able to go kayaking and canoeing. We got to enjoy beautiful views and spacious living while still taking time to reconnect. The only thing that made it a little less enjoyable was the fact that you are expected to launder your own linens before leaving and take your trash with you. Perhaps I missed all of that before booking but I saw it in the policies afterwards. Doing laundry for three beds plus towels in the small washer and dryer was quite time consuming and took all morning before checkout. That being said. We would 100% book again.

Terry & Chris's Whitetail Hollow is our favorite vacation getaway. We spent time fishing in our boat, which is conveniently docked on the property. We golfed nearby, we visited several nearby wineries, and spent an afternoon on the Skyline Drive. A truly memorable vacation. Thanks Terry & Chris.

Everything is as advertised. Great location, mid-lake near food and entertainment. The cabin was clean and in good shape. The parking was a little tight with the boat trailer, but it's fine if you are skilled and careful.
We will 100% look to come back here next year.

Had a week long vacation with our two adult children. We had an amazing time and the house was just a what we needed.
The house was well stocked and appointed. Very comfortable. The big deck was perfect for our morning coffee and evening dinners. Loved having a grill. Very comfortable beds.
The real gem of course was the lake. The deck on the lake was quiet and away from lake traffic. We enjoyed the canoes and kayaks. Bliss.
We look forward to coming back and thanks the family for their hospitality.

Looking for a fabulous rustic vacation? This is the place!
This 2-bedroom cabin provided us with a peaceful and cozy vacation dwelling. The house comes with just about every needed for a comfortable stay. Just a short walk down a rustic path is a lovely dock with slide. The owners provide a canoe and various sizes of kayaks for use. We've already booked our stay for next summer. Living under the trees was just wonderful as they provide shade on a hot summer day.

Nice cabin. Owners were VERY accommodating and responded quickly to any questions/concerns.

Lovey cabin and well stocked. The walk to water was tricky with all the exposed roots. It would have been better if some trees were removed for better view of water. All in all we had a quite and restfull time.

Great spot right on the lake. Very enjoyable..

We really enjoyed our stay at this cabin at Lake Anna! The home was lovely and cozy and provided privacy yet was only a short ride away from everything you could want or need. The spectacular windows offered a wonderful view as did the large rear deck. Cozy fire pit area for chilly evenings was charming. The king-sized bed in the main bedroom was extremely comfortable. We would certianly stay here again!

The perfect cabin get away. Just the right balance of rustic and the creature comforts you would want for your time at the lake.

We had a lovely time at the cabin. The cabin was small enough to be cozy and large enough to not feel cramped. The kitchen was well stocked with the cookware and tools we needed to prepare our meals at the cabin. We enjoyed watching the hawks and smaller birds. Our cell signal was strong. Access was easy. We were on a main road until we turned onto their street, yet we were mostly secluded. We genuinely enjoyed our visit and may return again for another winter getaway.

Great little cabin! Short walk to private dock. Unfortunate neighboring house close with big lawn and leaf blower

This was our 4th time staying at Whitetail Hollow, and as always we loved staying there! We love the decor inside the rustic cabin. New dishwasher
and washer and dryer, all the modern conveniences you could want. The boat dock is handy, and the crappie fishing was good. Carol was under the weather, so we had to cut our stay short, but we hope to stay again in the future. Thanks Terry and Chris!

Living room furniture wasn't the most comfortable. Bed was good sleeping. Fishing was less than average. More amenities could be included that we've had at other places we've stayed at.

We enjoyed the house and surrounding area. The lake and house were beautiful.

The lake house was perfect for what we needed on our vacation. It allowed us to enjoy the outdoors, including the lake and sitting by the fire. My kids loved the slide into the water. My daughter caught some fish. We loved the use of the kayaks and canoe. We had a friendly turtle that visited the kids in the water. It was quiet and restful. It was also close to many amenities, such as the Food Lion, mini golfing, ice cream, and restaurants. The owner was very helpful with all of our questions. We would definitely stay again.

We had a great time! The house is nice and open. The windows in the living room are beautiful. Well stocked kitchen and prompt answering of questions from the owner. Really nice relaxing vacation for our little family.

Week at Lake Anna
Spent a week at Lake Anna with grandkids. Kids absolutely enjoyed the lake, the dock, and the water slide. They were able to use the kayak and the canoe. Played putt putt mini golf and took a tour of the lake. Checking in and out was very easy. House was well stocked with items and utensils. Afternoon and evening rains prevented any use of the fire. But this did not deter the kids from the lake. "We're gonna get wet anyway".

Great Vacation!
This is a great place to come and unwind for a week or so. Water was warm, fishing was great, and the neighbors are friendly. Shopping is close by and there is craft beer and wineries located very close to this property. You will want to bring something to split wood with like we did or just buy presplit for the fire pit. All in all it was a super vacation.

Great Lake Getaway
This lovely cabin was a joy to stay in. We loved the cathedral windows and the dock. We paddled each day from the dock around the cove, and out to the lake when the boat traffic was light. All the amenities in the house were great. Comfortable and happy break for us.

Family Vacation
Cozy place to stay! Perfect location as we had family in the area. So many fun games to play at night with the kids. Fire pit was perfect! Dock and swimming were excellent, even took the canoe out. Owners were very nice! Our only complaint was the construction next door which started pretty early which was of no fault of the owner. We would definitely stay again!

Property was very clean. Owners answered questions quickly. Check-in was super easy. Loved the kayaks!

Great getaway!
This property has all you need for a great vacation and more! The dock with umbrella on table and 4 chairs let sun people enjoy the sun and non-sun people enjoy the shade. The kayaks were very nice to have use of! Fire pit close to house was nicer than those close to lake and tons of firewood was provided. Washer and dryer under the stairs was convenient and useful even with the need to have the door open to vent the dryer. Lots of linens provided as well as essentials such as hand soap and dishwasher tabs. Having 2 full bathrooms allowed for no wait time. New split system a/c’s worked well tho we found that when the dryer was running, the ceiling fans were needed. We hope to rent this cabin in the future!

Awesome stay!
Our family really enjoyed our stay in Virginia! We have two boys aged 10 and 15 who had a blast fishing off the dock in the evenings. The cabin was very clean and well kept.

We had a nice stay. House is small compared to some of the surrounding houses but pretty much as described. Bunk room was a bit of a surprise. 3 bunks high and a ceiling crawl space. Not made for adults but we managed. Windy kayaking and tough fishing but fun. Vito's Italian Restaurant is a must!
