Great value for money

Everything was clean and comfortable. In a nice quiet location but walkable distance to the beach. The best thing about Demar though was the staff. They were polite and friendly and did everything possible to make our stay relaxing.

Schöne Unterkunft leider etwas weiter entfernt vom Stadtzentrum

Wir hatten eine geräumige Suite in der Dependance mit einer großen Terrasse mit Liegen und Sitzgruppe. Die Räume waren sehr gut eingerichtet und das Bad war groß und modern. Die Anlage war gepflegt und sauber. Der Gastgeber war sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit. Wir konnten unser Auto direkt beim Eingang zur Dependance parken. Die Liegen am Pool wie auf unserer Terrasse waren mit Pooltüchern bestückt.

Das Frühstück war zwar gut, aber leider etwas eintönig da es kaum eine Auswahl gab. Die Gebäude und Grundstücke in der Nachbarschaft waren leider zum großen Teil wenig ansprechend mit viel Gerümpel in den Vorgärten. Die Aussicht von unserer großen Terrasse war auch nicht besonders schön, mit einem alten Werkstattgebäude auf der einen und einer wenig attraktiven Hauswand auf der anderen Seite.

Pace & tranquillita´

Denis e´ stato molto gentile e disponibile sin dal check-in! La camera, il letto e il bagno hanno superato le mie aspettative. La vista non era niente di speciale, ma si intravede il mare..e questo e´ sempre un grande plus!

Colazione migliorabile e poco variegata. Non consiglio l´utilizzo della bicicletta a causa delle poche (o poco funzionali) piste ciclabili a disposizione nei dintorni. Meglio UBER!

Fantastischer Kurzurlaub in Kroatien

Das B&B Demar hat unsere Erwartungen in jeder Hinsicht übertroffen. die gesamte Anlage ist ist neu- und hochwertig. Der Pool ist sauber und es gibt immer freie Liegen. Unser Zimmer war sauber und luxuriös. Die Betten waren bequem und auf dem Balkon war eine Liege zum sonnen. Das Frühstück war reichhaltig mit frischem Obst und allem was man braucht. Der Vermieter und sein Team waren sehr aufmerksam, hilfsbereit und freundlich.

Would 100% stay here again when visiting Zadar

The peace. We spent a few hours each day around the pool and it was bliss. We were in the new building, with a sea view and balcony with afternoon and evening sun, which caught the sunset too. The host was friendly and helpful, and there was always someone around if you needed anything.

Perhaps a little far from the old town to be walking both ways in the heat for some,, but we used Uber if it was too hot to walk that far, so it wasn't a problem. We would rather have the peaceful location of Demar and use a taxi than be in a busy hotel in more central location. Demar residence is beautiful and we will be back.

Our favourite place in Zadar.

We were here for the second year in a row and again it was perfect. We stayed in the penthouse which gave us the most beautiful view over the city and the sea. Demar is the perfect place to relax as it is such a quiet and comfortable place.

The facilities at this hotel are exceptional, the rooms are spacious and comfortable. The cleanliness and style of the property is fantastic. Breakfast is carefully presented and prepared. The pool area is spacious and provides towels.

The air conditioning was slightly noisy/could be more efficient.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Demar. The rooms were excellently appointed, spacious, very clean and comfortable with direct access to the sun loungers and pool. The owner and staff could not have done more for us during our stay. Breakfasts were delicious. We were able to park immediately outside our room. Zadar old town is very attractive and historically interesting, but a good half hour walk away, however, a shared taxi back was very reasonable. Would recommend the restaurant ‘Mama Mia’ a few streets away from the hotel.

The Wi-Fi signal was quite weak but this did not spoil a very pleasant stay.

it’s a small B&B but service is of hotel quality. place is new and room is stocked with toiletries and everything. room is also spacious, breakfast is great!

it’s best to drive in from city centre to the location but it’s a great quiet escape from the hustle and bustle of the city

Terrible staff member. Did not get the upgraded room I paid for. I Wish we stayed somewhere else!

The room was clean. That's it. The rest was appalling.

This was our last stay in Croatia and it was the place we were looking forward to most after seeing the reviews. I paid extra for an upgraded room with a balcony. What we got certainly did not include a balcony. The bed was two beds pushed together and we could feel the crease making the night's sleep poor. However, the worst experience came when checking out. The room had a mini bar which we used for two sparkling waters. When checking out I was told the items had to be paid by cash. I told the staff member that we only had loose change and did not have enough but we were happy to pay by card. I gave all I had and was short by about 6 Kuna (68 pence). The staff member then got rude and demanded the rest. I explained that I had a taxi waiting for me to take me to the airport that I was about to miss but she kept on insisting despite me explaining that nowhere said anything about cash only. Ultimately, I had to leave and I almost missed my taxi which was running late anyway. This could have caused me to miss my flight... Over 68 pence. I am appalled at the whole experience and I certainly would never stay here again.

The design is wonderful: modern and minimal style. The direct connection to the swimming pool was really appreciated. Rooms are very well equipped, absolutely nothing is missing!

Not a lot of traffic but you can hear the cars driving quite fast on the road adjacent to the hotel.

Demar BandB was wonderful. We spent four days in Zadar and enjoyed the city as well as the beach. The staff at Demar was pleasant, helpful and happy to answer our questions. We loved the pool and pool area and ate a really nice breakfast each morning. The rooms are clean,airconditioned and spacious. Demar was a bit of a hike from the town but accessible by buss if needed. There were several nice restaurants near by. Do stay here! I would gladly return.

Excellent friendly Staff and help/recommendations from Denis. Excellent location with walking distance to great beaches and restaurants. Short taxi into town/other/Airport connections from neighbour Karlo , good price and good service. Top quality "Boutique" style residence in a up-market part of town. Quiet and relaxing, superb pool and loungers. Can chill-out and relax at the pool or get to many places quickly in the surrounding area. All rooms excellent, with pool/gardens views and some with sea in distance. Stayed in 100s hotels on business and pleasure and this is top rate.
