Excellent

Excellent Experience! If I visit Langkawi again, I would definitely stay here. It's just 2 - 3 minutes drive from the airport, which is super convenient. The breakfast was excellent, offering a wide variety of items with a new menu each day. The hotel was very comfortable, with a great washroom and an amazing view. They even provided extra water bottles at no charge. The best part? They had YouTube and a selection of great movies to watch. Absolutely loved the experience!

Nous sommes arrivées avant l'heure du check-in l'hôtel a proposé de garder nos bagages nous avons donc put aller profiter de l'île. A notre arrivée dans les chambres les lieux étaient propres, la chambre est très bien équipé il y a même un mini frigo. Le petit déjeuner était bon mais peut-être pas assez de variété au niveau continental. Le personnel de l'hôtel était très à l'écoute, il nous a proposé des activités et les a booké pour nous

Dans l'une des chambres l'évacuation de la douche était bloqué, l'eau allée donc du côté des toilettes à part ça tout été très bien

Perfect stay

Everything. Staff was very helpful and flexible. food for lunch/dinner was really good, breakfast has small variety but it is pretty good. Very good location cause is close to the airport and reasonable distance from the rest of the island. Shops, laundry and restaurants nearby. We loved the swimming pool and level of cleanliness. Highly recommend this hotel

Séjour très agréable, je recommande cet hôtel.

Hôtel très agréable et très bien situé pour les activités et l'aéroport. Le personnel est très disponible et très gentil. Les chambres sont très bien. La piscine est spacieuse, espace agréable pour se détendre au soleil. Bon conseil pour les activités à faire sur l'île. Buffet du petit déjeuné très bien agrémenté.

Great value for money

Staff was very friendly and helpful, facilities clean and well-maintained, breakfast plentiful and tasty. Highly recommend.

If you arrive early, there is an early check-in fee but you can leave the luggage at the reception for free and come back after the designated check-in time. The only drawback is that the location is not in a walkable distance from anything so you need a car or Grab.

Calm and relaxed stay at The Smith House

The location of the property located. It’s away from the busyness of the city area and if you love to have a place away from the busy streets and looking for something calm and peaceful, yes this definitely is the place. The staffs definitely top notch. From the start of my stay till the end of my stay, they have been very helpful and very courteous. Special shoutout to front off ice staff who assisted me through the check in and check out process. (A middle aged, probably in his early 40s, Malay guy with glasses. Sorry I didn’t managed to get his name, thank you so much for your help Sir.)

All good. Just a small thing can be made better. The shower room outlets where the water flows out, the water exit can be a little fast instead of clogging up for a bit before exiting the outlet. Other than that, top notch.

Lovely hotel with exceptionally friendly and helpful staff. Rooms are tidy and cleaned every day. Swimming pool is a great bonus too.

Good Hotel that is nearest to airport.

Love the environment of the overall hotel, the staff there are friendly and was very helpful to share recommendations on local food to try and attractions to visit. Overall the room is clean and comfortable as well.

The location is quite far away from main attractions even though its easy to travel by Grab when we are there. But the plus point is that it's very near to the airport. For the hotel room that we stayed, the toilet bidet was a little broken. Also, the pillow feels a bit old and overused, the hotel should consider to change to better quality pillows. But for the price that we paid compared to hotels that are nearer to beach side or main attractions, overall is worth the price we pay.

Really well run. The staff were lovely and the food was really good. Overall it felt like a 5 star hotel when it came to service.

Bit far away from the main beach area but nothing a simple taxi drive can’t solve.

we would recommend staying there.

The Hotel had the possibility to rent scooters for 50RM per 24h. One should absolutely do so. As the location is too far away from the beaches but in the other hand perfectly in the middle to explore the whole island and not das from the airport the breakfast was amazing:)) the rooms are small but comfortable

The breakfast is good and tasty n hygeine but it would be better if have alternative menus for local dishes like mee rebus, mee kari,thosai, kampung fried rice and etc. There was not much choice for vegetarian foods

Pool area was good and the loungers comfy enough to relax on. The pool was refreshingly cool, but not cold. Breakfast was good although could have better western options. Staff were very friendly and helpful. Better than most of the 4* hotels we stayed in while visiting Malaysia. Gave us a late check out and access to the pool and facilities after we checked out and waited for our flight.

Location of the hotel was not near anything of real interest so had to take taxis everywhere during the day as there is no public transport in Langkawi. When we requested for ice to be brought to the room, we were charged for this.

Very good

Smooth and simple check in. The room was very clean. Loved the rooftop pool. Breakfast was great with lots of options.

The coffee at breakfast was awful, not drinkable whatsoever.

The hotel provided everything I could ask for. I will be back.

I literally could not fault this hotel. I loved everything about it. It is located near the airport and a little way from the main attractions. However, the Grab taxis were cheap so it worked perfectly. Also very little noise from the airport.

A very disappointing experience at this hotel

the place looked great from the photos and we were very excited to stay here. we found some cheaper places but decided to spend more to have a nicer hotel. reality was unfortunately very far from expectations. nothing really works here. we had to change room 3 times in 2 nights because the aircon was not working properly, they kept giving us another room where aircon still did not work. The staff did not particularly care about the issues we were having and acted as if changing room constantly was normal. internet was extremely slow. the room was very clean, the bed comfortable and the shower had great pressure. we really liked the rooftop swimming pool and the breakfast. but the issues with the aircon and the lack of responsiveness from the staff just ruined our stay. if they manage to improve these issues, it would definitely become a great hotel!

aircon and internet were not working and staff was not very helpful and knowledgable of how to handle issues with clients. the hotel staff clearly needs some training on customer service and the hot needs a manager who can run the property smoothly and sort out any issues
