Aqua Vacation Rentals White Sands is a beautiful newly renovated home that features 4 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms and just 2 blocks to Downtown Union Pier. As you enter the home the open floor plan and vaulted ceilings take your breath away. The kitchen has updated finishes with stainless steel appliances and large island for breakfast or having a cocktail while watching dinner being made. The living room has a large sectional large enough to watch a movie or hang out and chat. The dining room has seating for 8 guests and plenty of windows for lots of natural light. Venture down the hallway and you will find the laundry room, main bathroom and three spacious bedrooms. The first and second bedroom have queen beds and the primary suite has a king bed with ensuite bathroom (walk in shower). As you make your way upstairs you come upon a beautiful loft area with an oversized leather chair, day bed with twin trundle and a TV area for the kids with a gaming system. Beyond the loft is the fourth bedroom with 3 twin beds and plenty of space for the kids to hang out. Enjoy the fire pit and large yard or relax on the front porch in one of the rocking chairs. The beach is located just .3 of a mile from the house and there is a wagon, beach chairs and a beach umbrella for your use located in the garage. This home is located right in the heart of Union Pier and is just a couple of blocks from Union Pier Market and a few blocks to Red Arrow Road House. Come and enjoy all this home and the area has to offer!

This house fit the bill for two families (with 4 young kids combined) getting to the beach for a long weekend. Easy walk to coffee, ice cream, restaurants in UP and 5-10 min walk to the beach.
House is as advertised. Clean and nice and well stocked with games and beach toys/chairs/towels. Also well stocked with kitchen equipment if you want to cook.
My only knock is that when you’re paying $600+/night to stay somewhere you shouldn’t have to run dishes and laundry and take out trash when you leave (not suggesting you can trash the place either). Especially when it’s clearly not someone’s home you’re staying in, just a rental business property..

This is the second time we have used White Sands for our family fall get away. There is plenty of room for six adults and four children. It is within walking distance of the beach and it's location makes it easy for us to visit the pumpkin patch in Three Oaks. The house is close to New Buffalo restaurants and any restaurants that are close to Red Arrow Highway. The house is very clean. We did not encounter any problems that required us to contact management. We would not hesitate to visit again. Reservation, checking and checkout processes were very easy.

The home was beautiful and the location was perfect. We went out in New Buffalo, wine tasting in Baroda, and explored Warren Dunes. The House had everything we needed and sleeping arrangements were perfect. The loft is great for planning a group because there are 3 twins and a pullout for extra sleeping spaces. We did not need to space since several people cancelled last minute. The house is right off of a busy street and the train horn was startling at times in the middle of the night. Also Just be prepared to spend a couple hours with the check out process. Most rentals I have been in lately do not require that many steps since there are so many added fees For cleaning/etc. Small suggestion would be adding a mirror in the back left bedroom so many people can get ready at once. Overall a very positive experience. Had a wonderful getaway for my sister’s 40th.

My family had stayed in this home last year so we were really looking forward to returning - and we’re definitely not disappointed. The rooms were spotless and all “provisions” that were promised were there. The loft area is absolutely perfect for teenagers who like to sleep late and enjoy their privacy. My grandkids were very happy and I only ventured up the morning we left to make sure they had taken care of the space. Beach is not crowded and an easy walk. Loved the rocking chairs on the front porch. I often spent mornings with coffee and my book of the day. We will be back again next year.

Our family had a great stay at White Sands! The house was beautiful. The only drawback for us was the location of the Lake. It's quite the walk for elderly people, so we drove to the lake and the younger ones walked. We also had one bath towel each, so we laundered frequently, but overall, would definitely recommend!!! Never used the back yard, but enjoyed sitting on the front porch each evening! Very peaceful!

Overall enjoyed our stay. Pros: house was clean and comfortable. Near restaurants, close to the beach. There is a fire pit to enjoy s’mores. Also quick communication from owners.
Cons: The check in process was frustrating. I did not like having to message my group asking what time everyone was going to arrive and then having to email owners so they can put a key inside the house and then to message them letting them know when we arrived. When traveling with 5 kids under 6 that’s the last thing u should need to worry about. Get a lock box or a key pad. It should not be that complicated. The small back deck needs rails, one of the kids fell off the side of it and got hurt. There is no fire wood ready to use for the fire pit. We had to go purchase some. The grass was also very long around the house and needed to be cut. I couldn’t let my baby crawl around outside at all. They also had a dozen ant hills all around the yard. The warning notes around the house of what you can’t do or they will charge you don’t exactly give you warm and cozy vibes. The long check out list that needed to be done exactly a certain way or you’ll get charged made our last nite stressful trying to pack and get everything done exactly the way they want. They provided the bare minimum for the rental. Again, overall we had a good time but I don’t think the cost matches the value.

We loved our stay! The house was exactly as described and the pictures were spot on. We had plenty of space for a group of 5 friends. Loved that the house was straight down the street from a fun bar for Friday night and we all enjoyed a lovely walk to the beach the next morning. The fire pit was all stocked with wood for us and it truly was so turnkey, we loved it and would absolutely stay again.

Our family of 4 stayed with another couple and their two kids during our time here and we had a great time. There was plenty of room both inside and outside for the kids to play. Everything in the home including kitchen appliances and utensils were new so we had everything we needed to cook various meals during our stay. The newer Weber grill was nice to have as well as we did grill out a few times for dinner. The home is a short walk to both the beach and downtown Union Pier if you something from the market. It is also a short walk up to the Whistle Stop if you need a coffee in the morning. Overall we really enjoyed our stay here.

Overall, our experience at this rental was great. It accommodated 10 of us and gave us plenty of space. Our favorite part of the property was the location distance from the beach. It was a little under 10 minutes to walk there and the beach was just beautiful. The only suggestion would be to bring extra toliet paper, paper towels, and trash bags for they only provide a bear minimum. Since we had 10 of us staying in the home it was easy to use more than what was provided. They do provide some beach towels which was a nice touch. Overall, our stay was great and we would recommend this property to anyone looking to have a nice getaway.

The property was extremely clean and perfect for our family getaway. We grilled & had a bonfire the first night, made a great breakfast the next morning and off to the beach which was a 5 minute walk. Walked to to Union Pier Social (5 min walk) for a delicious dinner, just enjoyed going back to the property and relaxing.

Excellent stay
We absolutely loved our stay at White Sands. It was spacious, clean, and comfortable for the 11 of us (8 adults, 3 kids). This home was stocked up on literally everything- spices, cleaning supplies (trash bags, laundry detergent, etc), towels and beach towels, tons of beach toys and supplies, movies, and a bunch of fun games! I have never seen anything like it and was so impressed. The short walk to a nearby beach was through a beautiful neighborhood and quick, even with little kids. The 5 minute drive into New Buffalo wasn't bad at all either! We could not have been happier with our stay at White Sands! We would definitely stay again!

Location of the home was great. Just max a 10min walk to the beach! The home was super clean and open. Add a total of 9 people in the house and we had so much space, did not feel we were on top of each other. The bed were all comfy. And the upstairs bedroom with 3 twin beds was perfect for our children. It's close to wineries and breweries, there also was a cute little Cafe a short walk from the house that had sandwiches, ice cream, and especially coffee. I definitely recommend this home. Can not wait to go back and enjoy Lake Michigan some more. It was Fantastic!!!!

Beautiful home
We had an excellent long weekend with friends at this beautiful home. The house seems brand new, and is very clean, comfortable and nicely laid out with all of the amenities we could have wanted. We particularly appreciated the modern kitchen and fire pit, where we spent some enjoyable evenings making s'mores!
It should be noted that the property is adjacent to the Red Arrow Highway, and we could sometimes hear noise from the road.
