The best in ubud

I love the room, so comfortable, very nice amazing staff, yummy breakfast, the hotel offers free shuttle to the center, also they offered nice free classes, i attended the morning walk tour, Balinese conversation class (with the amazing Made) and a yoga class. All of the are amazing.

The staff were amazing, super cheerful, incredibly helpful, very friendly. The rooms were comfortable, the facilities were great, the activities were many and varied..

Many lizards! But expected given the beautiful surroundings and location.

Almost everything! Friendly and accommodating staff, spacious and comfortable room (we booked a family room), excellent service.

The swimming pools are lacking shades.

Friendly and supportive staff

Poor maintenance. Locks on windows broken. Construction site directly behind. Dated decor and noise easily heard between rooms. I changed rooms three times but that didn’t help.

Superb

Clean hotel, outstanding service and level of professionalism, great pools and very nice rooms. Our trip took some unexpected turne anr forced us to book 2 more nights for 6 people and 4 rooms. The staff has done a phenomenal effort to get this to work in short notice while being in a very busy season.

Not a lot to mention here, the food in the restaurants was amazing but the food around the pool was mediocre which sometimes felt like a waste of money.

Definitely worth the stay if you want to relax and enjoy the tranquility of Bali.

The hotel is accessible to all parts of Bali, located in the center of the island. Staff are very accommodating and available any time of the day.

The pool was very cold so I didn’t get to enjoy it.

Multiple Staff with the same question will keep annoying you by asking what is your plan for today, how long will you stay in Ubud specially when you are doing breakfast. You need that space without someone interrupt you again and again. Shuttle to ubud central is having limited occupancy(10) with such big hotel and on request they do not run extra shuttle. Hence you may have to arrange a taxi and pay extra for that.

Everything was perfect. Front desk staffs was amazing gave us early checkin and late checkout as-well. From the rooms to food to service was great. Food was delicious, Service staffs was great aswel they checked if food was good in between each course. They do have plenty of free activity that you can participate.

I will always remember my time in Bali because of this amazing hotel and the people who work there!

This is a very special place to stay. The staff in the lobby and restaurant are absolutely exceptional and kind! It felt like home during my 15 day stay! The breakfast was delicious and very accommodating for my vegan requests.

Exceptional staff. Quite a comfortable stay.

Staff went out of their way to make my stay comfortable and pleasant. Rooms were nice and modern with a sizeable balcony. The breakfast was excellent with many options!

Parts of the property seemed a bit rundown like the hallways. Leaking ceilings and water damage. Quite far from Ubud Centre.

the surrounding area isn’t pleasant to walk through which means you need to get transport everywhere.

Sthala was a blissful oasis with an amazing staff.

The hotel is on a site that overlooks a small river and valley, which provides absolutely gorgeous views for the restaurant and pool. And the staff are amazing. I cannot remember the last time I stayed at a hotel where every single member of the staff was as friendly and welcoming as the members at Sthala. They really know how to make me feel taken care of!

The hotel is located pretty far from the center of Ubud, so you will need to take the courtesy shuttle to and fro. Sometimes this can take longer than 30 min due to traffic.
