Perfect stay in a gorgeous chalet

Set in a beautiful garden setting. Spa on deck was perfect for the cold nights.

Great location close to town. Private and peaceful setting with lovely gardens.

Unfortunately we found the chalet to be in need of a thorough clean rather than a wipe over. Lots of dust and cobwebs, dirty microwave & splashback in the kitchen and the floors needed a good vacuum and mop (including in the corners and under the furniture). Uncomfortable bed. Horrible shower. Disappointing for the price.

Wonderful stay!

So quaint and beautiful and very helpful owners. So close to town. Could have stayed for much longer than 3 nights!

It was gorgeous - if you are a clean-freak though though you may have issues with the dust and quite a few spiderwebs but It didn't bother me. Wouldn't advise staying here if you are 2 x couples who would like some extra 'noise privacy' as the second bedroom up on the loft is essentially doorless

We were disappointed with the above problems especially given the premium price.

Liked the location, garden views, privacy, potential for outdoor living in better weather.

The dirty mouldy shower door, the lumpy tired bed, the fact that the second bedroom was out of reach unless you pay more, no discount for one bedroom use, difficulty with use of reverse cycle air conditioners was very cold at night, unpaved driveway, not good when wet and muddy. Low lighting in kitchen made cooking difficult at night.

Were it situated was close to town and extremly tranquil.

There was no dryer to dry your clothes the water preasure in the shower was very low and the mattress was very uncomfortable.⁸

Amazing relaxing chalet!

Great location, close to town centre. Beautiful relaxing spot, situated on the host’s property. Was still very private even though the lovely hosts are located close by. The chalet exceeded our expectations and the spa was the highlight!!

Beautiful chalet!

Facilities and location were excellent. The chalet had everything we needed and it was very neat and tidy. Very happy thank you.

If I had to nit pick the only think that could be better is the driveway up the hill and into the facility. However take it slow and you will be fine.

Property was beautiful and quite. Loved the pot belly fire..

Was cold, even with the over head heating and the pot belly on.

Birthday Surprise at Hillview

Such an amazing stay at Hillview. Such a beautiful space and view from the back deck. The hot tub is such a lovely touch which made our few days at Hillview soooo relaxing. Super closer to town which made popping out for meals such a breeze.

Easter Getaway

It was beautiful, we absolutely loved the location and setting of Hillview. It was the perfect getaway and our hosts were beautiful people, as well as the gorgeous Martha😊 Homestead was exceptional, everything we could have asked for!

3 day honeymoon

I loved the outdoor area with the spa. Was very relaxing and welcoming out there. The gardens are beautiful and you did an amazing job with the new kitchen.

Only a couple of things. We did say it was for our honeymoon but upon arrival there was nothing there for it. No wine or chocolates or anything which was disappointing. We also noticed a sign that stated we couldn’t sleep upstairs unless we had organized this and paid an extra fee. I thought paying $300 a night you would have a choice as to which bed you could sleep in. They have 2 lovely dogs which came over to say hi which was nice but the sat & Sunday morning one does start barking at 5am and the house is quite close to the chalet.
