Desastrosa experiencia y trato de la recepcionista.

Ubicacion, y el trato del camarero

reserve una habitación con cama doble y vistas a la ciudad. No me dieron ninguna de las dos cosas contratadas. daba a un patio interior y tenía dos camas pequeñas. Hablé con la recepcionista y no me solucionaron el problema y encima tratándome con prepotencia. El bater no evacuaba tenías que tirar de la cadena 3 veces por lo menos. El aire acondicionado hacia muchísimo ruido. Era habitación n°14

A cultural stop on a tour of Andalucia.

The hotel is an historic family home in the heart of Priego, and consequently room sizes are limiting. However, the interior of the hotel, terrace, and garden are enchanting. The simple breakfast for €5 is great value. Further the receptionist Raquel, for extremely helpful with advice and information on the town. The town was so clean, pretty, and peaceful that we plan to go back.

Pillows could have been more comfortable.

A gem in the heart of Priego

Location and the staff were very friendly and made us very welcome especially Raquel.The xtra touches made it memorable.

The price when initially booked then went up and I had to rebook and a much increase rate.

Most disappointing. this is not a 4 star hotel

The room & patio.

this is not a 4 star facility & should not be quoted as so. it is at best a guest house. we would call it our fawlty towers experience! it is a mueseum so it is quirky but reception is drab & dreary. & not welcoming. Rachel on the desk seems to carry out all the hotel duties which is very unfair to both her & the guests. we asked for dinner menu as had been told it was a very good restaurant & was told to go outside to see it on a placard at front of hotel! reception had no map of town & we were told there would b no food in the hotel til 9pm! long wait for drink as Rachel booking people in. she was able to give us a bread roll to tide us over!!!! we were told we were the only people booked in for dinner so we declined as judging from our experience during the day it would annoy us even more! btw this was a Friday night! the room was good but if you are looking for 4 star service this is not the place to stay & is shocking value for money.

sense of place and history couldn’t be more pronounced … comfortable rooms and beds … lovely baths in some rooms, charming gardens and courtyard

Charming, comfortable, hotel in excellent location. Slightly whacky. Speaking Spanish helps.

Charming building, stylish room, comfortable beds, excellent location in town, no food but plenty places nearby for breakfast and other meals.

Slightly chaotic. On arrival hotel open but no staff appeared for over 15 minutes. Had reserved twin room, was given double but this was corrected after 30 minute wait. Cleaners monopolising lift in morning.

Fantastic Hotel. A large old family house which has been turned into a hotel with most of the original furniture and paintings kept. However, with a modern touch cleverly added which makes it perfect. Good location easy secure parking opposite (€15 per day). Staff very helpful and friendly

Good but expensive

Clean and very confortable. Very kind staff and good treatment.

Even if the hotel is good, the price is very expensive, 120€ per night for double room or 195€ for triple room seems excessive in my opinion.

I was a little disappointed in Priego de Córdoba generally.

Location Good shower Parking

Breakfast Off season and we were the only guests in the hotel which may have affected our judgement. No dining facility at time of stay

Nice hotel. Get rid of the cats.

Fantastic courtyard/garden and building, great bed, excellent location, close parking (15 euro/night).

A problem if you're allergic to cats as two are constantly present in the lobby and courtyard. Bizarrely smelly placemats in the restaurant (you could smell them 3 meters away). Couldn't raise the exterior shutters in the room so you were constantly in the dimmed light. Dinner was not great with limited selection. Breakfast was almost zero (went to the supermarket and got a croissant).

Exceptional

Beautiful Hotel with very comfy beds. Excellent food and ambiance. All staff very friendly and helpful, nothing too much trouble.. Loved the two cats.
