Die schöne Lage am Fluss
Unfreundliche Bedienung — teilweise.

Attractive riverside location
Basic breakfast

Location on the River, stayed before at La Rivage just along a bit.
Guest accommodation a bit tired, I think it’s more about Restaurant than guests.
3.7
Breakfast was disappointing and so expensive at €12/person.

We were not allowed to check in until 5pm. It was cold and rainy and we were stuck taking a cab back into Orléans until 5. Upon arrival our room was very cold. We were told by the owner via phone there would be no heat. We decided to leave and we’re not given any compensation for the bill.
Information regarding the lack of heat. It was 54 degrees and raining.

It was expensive!

Bertrand was very friendly and we enjoyed our stopover in this lovely hotel. He recommended his other restaurant up the road which was very good.
Disappointed that the restaurant was not open on the day we stayed, we should have checked more carefully.

Private parking and a spacious room.

Absolutely charming location, our room was very clean and comfortable, we enjoyed a delicious meal in the restaurant and the staff were very helpful. All in all, this is a lovely hotel and we will return!

The room was located on the side of the parking lot. It was a coming and going of people until the middle of the night. I couldn't sleep very well because of that, so I left very early in the morning.
The three-course dinner was tasty but very small portions on very large plates.
Left early be for breakfast.
too bad I got a room near the parking lot and the clattering of garbage cans, while I had asked for a quiet room.

The restaurant is first rate and we always enjoy the food there. The rooms have tea making facilities and an enquiry at the bar will result in a small jug of cold milk being provided. The staff are friendly.
Our room had one bedside light that didn't work, apart from that we were very happy.

Very well appointed room. Very nice dining room set beside the river, pleasant staff, tasty dinner with good menu.
quite stressful finding the location from the motorway

The hotel is on the banks of a lovely, quiet river. Very picturesque. Although we were not there in the summer, it must be beautiful in the warmer months - sitting outside, watching the river would be magical.
The room was large and well laid out. The bathroom was also large and newly updated I think. Lovely shower over the bath. The bed was large and had crisp, white sheets - lovely. Pillows very comfortable.
The on-site restaurant was beautifully laid out and set a lovely atmosphere. Food was 'to die for' :). Truly wonderful!
Not enough electrical points for two people - we had to do some adapting of lights etc. The overall lighting in the bedroom was quite low so older people may struggle with not being able to see enough.
Although the restaurant looked beautiful, the staff we curt and dismissive. We almost walked out. Understandable we did not speak French but when asking for someone to explain the menu, the 'maitre-d' (girl that seemed to be overseeing the restaurant and waiters) was completely dismissive and ignored us. Finally, a waiter came to assist and explained things very, very well. This relaxed us but then another waiter literally 'threw' my entree cutlery at me. It was only due to the waiter that took the time to explain how the menu worked and what was on the menu that we stayed.
The redeeming factor was that the food was totally wonderful.
Breakfast was also overpriced for what it was. Understandably covid has made some changes to how this is presented, but for 12 Euros, it was too much.

Amazing restaurant but it really is a restaurant that happens to have a couple of rooms, it is not a hotel. Closed Sunday and Monday so not even the chance of getting a drink. Rooms are very noisy and hot. Staff are nice but really was not great.
Noisy room. If someone plugged an appliance in next door it sounded like it was coming through the wall. It is located in the suburbs so no service (ie. food or drink) on a Sunday or Monday was a real problem. only one socket worked in the room.

Really exceptional dinner in the restaurant. Lovely place to stay, would recommend.

Restaurant
Room at back and very basic. No air conditioning

The setting.
Disgusting smell in the courtyard where I parked and adjacent to the room I stayed in. Once inside I couldn’t smell the bad smell. Like a chicken farm or rotting meat
Thé breakfast was paltry and not worth the money
