Needs a lot of attention before we would stay again

The view was great, and once inside, the property was large and fully self contained. It was clean, water pressure was good and bed was OK.

We had trouble finding the property and had to go to the information centre for directions. They had not heard of the property, but when they was the names on my email they knew who they were and explained how to get there. Up a VERY narrow drive that we only just managed to fit up in our 4WD, and behind a house, we found a double storey property that looked like a dump. It was old and tatty, the doors were worn and there was a flight of rickety looking steps to go up to retrieve the keys, which were on the table. Once inside, the space was large and clean and in contrast to the exterior. The view was great, but the desk and furniture looked unsafe so we stayed indoors. There was a washing machine, but it was outside, under the deck, with very dodgy wiring and no instructions.

Okay for two people but awkward to use full facility.

Porch overlooked ocean. Upstairs portion very spacious and well equipped. We only used the top portion of the house and were comfortable Easy drive to monkey Mia. 30 min

Difficult to find and driveway so narrow it was almost useless to use. Layout of accommodation was strange as rooms on different floors with only outside access to connect. Washing machine didn't work so we left with a bagful of wet clothes

Beautifully located property and really friendly helpful owners

Great location and amazing views. The owners are also really helpful and friendly and the property was lovely and clean.

It would have been great to maybe have a BBQ and kayak to utilise.

we loved it and was great to explore and have a little relaxing before we hit the road again!

location and size was great

washing machine didn’t work because the flooring was too far out of level. I little bit of milk like most places have would have been nice for a cuppa but that isn’t the end of the world. the property didn’t have a number out the front that was clear on the location. had to use photos off the internet to see the kind of balcony it had.

Best view and comfortable beds. To top it off Dave went above and beyond to help us out. I left a bag behind and he express parcel it without hesitation. He also helped us out when our car broke down by giving out numbers of local mechanics. We’ll surely hit up dave when we come back.

Great location

We stayed for 3 nights; great location opposite the beach. Only 2 of us so we only used upstairs accommodation. Very clean and was perfect location to enjoy Denham; walking distance to everything in town. We had a SUP board which was easily kept in a courtyard downstairs - easy to walk across the road for a SUP. Owners were so very kind and obliging even when we stuffed up our booking and thought we were checking out a day later. Owners had us totally covered! Will definitely be returning

Location. Verandah with sea view.

Second bedroom is downstairs by separate entrance. Ok for us siblings sharing only bedroom upstairs but would be serious problem with family with young children. Should be made very clear the second bedrrom is accessed by exterior staircase.

Lovely relaxing upstairs villa close over the road from the beach and walking distance to everything

The accommodation was brilliantly located right on the main beach. Just behind another house but it doesn’t affect the view. It was clean and very well appointed. I just wished we had booked more nights there.

Would have been great to have had a bbq and a bedside lamp.

Clint was fantastic and super friendly. We needed a last minute booking (rocked up in person on the day) and he happily sorted us out in 5 mins. The rooms are a stone's throw away from the shoreline and they are neat and clean. Great facilities. 100% will stay here again the next time we come through Shark Bay.

Close to the beach and pub

When getting the second bedroom, not only is it seperate from the main house and only accessible by external stairs, but there is no en-suite (for any night time visits) but to get upstairs, you have to walk over uneven pathways and I have seen tidier building plots. Also not too sure about the safety of the external lights that have no covers on them. The “Al Fresco” area downstairs is in serious need of work and the insulation on the upstairs balcony roof was coming away. To say we were disappointed with this property is a gross understatement. Here are just some of the photos we took of this property.
