We tried several time to have the host for direction and they did not pick up. We were obliged to find another place.

Lovely host, lovely breakfast, basic room

Very friendly hosts who helped us when we couldn't find the place and made us a delicious vegan breakfast of Ghana pancakes and bananas with fresh juice.

The lighting in the room is very neon and difficult to have on in the evening. Overall room is very basic indeed with dated beds and no decor, and the bathroom is set up so you have to arrange in advance if you want to use the shower, otherwise you use a bucket. We were fine to use the bucket for one night but any longer we would have asked to set up the shower.

Rakennuksen ulkonäkö on kaunis ja näkymä merelle. Ilmastointi toimi. Aamiainen yksinkertainen. Jääkaappi käytössä. Aamiainen tarjoiltiin huoneeseen.

Huoneen toiminnoista, siis ei ollut wifiä, aluksi suihku ei toiminut, sähköt katkeili. Ensimmäisenä aamuna herätettiin aamiaisella, vaikka sitä ei ollut sovittu. Pyyhkeet haisivat pahalle. Kovat tyynyt. Korkeat portaat kadulta hotelliin.

My day made this hostel:)) Thank you a lot:))

1. People who work for this hostel Receptionists cared me every time, when I need to help. Not only just working, but they also helped me mentally. Two boys of receptionists worked hard without any complaints every time and they tried to solve my issues,even though the problem was tiny in general. Their behaviors are so respectful and thankful. It was pleasure to meet them in this time. A owner was also good personality. He cared me a lot with humorous mind, warm heart and a gorgeous Japanese T-shirts. Although this hostel is not 5-stars hotel generally, If you don’t care of facilities like below, I strongly recommend this hostel because a location is fantastic and some situation makes you comfortable. I hope I could stay there with them again. Thank you for your hard working.

Mostly It was acceptable for me but I will share some points for next customers especially Japanese:) **Please make sure this hostel is my cup of tea:) 1, Wifi was usually expired. Basically it’s fine because staff supported me soon, but when wifi was expired during nighttime, I had to wait for staff long time. 2. Water was stopped. Although I didn’t care of it because there was a big container with filled water inside rooms, atter the water finished to use, I had to wait more than 1hour in the morning without announcing the time for the water staff bring. It made me tired a bit so I gave up to wash my body and teeth. It was acceptable for me, but probably this hostel had better to fix the operation in the hostel for the other guests for near future.

Disappointed

It located near the Cape Coast Castle, near the ocean , close to the shops , on the way to Kakum Park

Smell of the building and rooms was bad , dirty floor , extremely poor furniture , old , the bed very soft , the pillows weren't pillows actually, one towel for two guests, lack of warm water. I never experienced anything like that before. The place was cheap indeed but it looks like nobody is taking care of this place with love. The fan in the room very noisy so we had to change the room.

Fantastic, wonderful and look forward to returning some time...

Amazing room service, Samuel was very attentive to all of our needs, very friendly, great value for money.... Fantastic vegan food available.. the owner and his wife were exceptionally friendly and helpful, great location to explore Cape coast,rooms are clean, great mattress... Good views..

Maybe better access, steep steps unsuitable for less able people...

More basic than I was expecting

The staff were super friendly and nice to chat to. View from the room was great and was easy to walk to other attractions.

We opted for the budget room so was expecting basic facilities. However, there was no running water most of the time and when it did work it came out brown. To shower, they have a large bin with water in it and a pot for you to pour water over yourself, this is normally fine for me but the water had a funny smell so wasn't pleasant to wash in. Their facilities description is wrong as it didn't have a lot of things listed on there. Highly recommend getting an a/c room as was too hot to sleep with just a fan.
