Rooms were clean. Staff was kind and helpful. The location is perfect, you can go right on to Ariondaz lift. The restaurant (esp. Rotisserie) is very nice.
Most of the access to rooms were located "outside"(in open air) which made it challenging going to breakfast or going down to lobby for a coffee(it would have been nice to know beforehand considering -15C temp outside while we were there). The elevator was always super busy and clearly insufficient for the capacity, which meant always waiting long lines to go in or out. The room service was lacking. sometimes our trash was left full, or we did not get clean towels(even though the other ones were taken), or coffee capsules were not replenished. The phone system was not working(in the whole hotel?) so we could not call the reception or room service from the room. Their solution was to suggest we use our cellphones to call the reception. Not very convenient to make an international call to get fresh towels.

The breakfast & location were good
The hotel was filthy everywhere
This is not a 4star hotel in my experience having stayed in other 4star hotels in the resort.

Breakfast was the best part. Coffee service was a bit slow - only one barista for the whole breakfast area, but there are nespresso pods in the room.
On site ski shop could be better. Arrived at 5:30pm and went to the shop to get our pre-rented skis at 5:59pm (shop is open until 6pm). Staff were still there but didn't want to help us and told us to come back the next day. Staff are not super friendly and skis also needed waxing. I brought them back at mid-point on first day and they said it would take the rest of the day to wax them. I lost a half-day of skiing because of that.
Many rooms open to the outside, which makes for a cold walk to breakfast.
Ski locker room and elevator hallway smelled of mold.
Room cleaning happens late in the day; had to request they come before 2pm while we were out skiing.
Good location if you want to ski @ 1650; if you ski most of the time @ 1850, you'll need to take the bus because sometimes the lifts to connect the two are not open due to weather/winds.

Front desk staff were extremely helpful with transfers and information to help us make decisions about our trip. Great location - ski in ski out - ski lift on the doorstep - easy access to everything. Good breakfast - Nicko made great coffee and always friendly and helpful. Valentina from the ski school was awesome - excellent with my partner - she made great progress this trip.
The restaurant for dinner - overpriced and limited menu - food was ok at best. Older hotel - but it's location makes up for this.

The location is perfect. Easy access to ski slopes and village.
Far too warm inside the hotel. One very slow lift. Carpets needed a good clean.

The ski on, ski off location was amazing and the staff was the best at any hotel I’ve ever stayed at. 1650 is a charming village -much better than the more hectic 1850. We had an amazing time and will return!

Excellent location, slope side and walking distance to shops and restaurants. Courchevel free shuttle is less than a block away. Ski shop and restaurant on site. Rooms are spacious with sitting areas.
Older facilities. Steam room and sauna not working. Service was sometimes great, mostly spotty. Front desk pleasant but did not do the extra step in terms of making reservations, for example. Lock on our room door was broken. Maintenance did not come til the next day to properly fix it and no recompense for the inconvenience. No shower in one of the rooms, just tub.

Great selection at breakfast.
WC in bathroom didn't flush. Had to keep getting housekeeping to fix. Breakfast coffee area badly managed, long queue.
