Nice quiet gardens, comfortable room. Plenty of variety for breakfast.
Wouldn't want too large a vehicle to get through hedge at entrance to driveway.

Every thing. I adore Burnbank. My new favorite respite for time off.
Nothing! Maybe the rain

Amazing property of historical significance and the house was magnificent
The room was overcrowded with furniture
The towels were stained
The breakfast could have been presented a lot better

nothing, absolutely terrible!
the host was never there, the other guest said they had not been there for days!! I showed up to an empty house, could not even make a cup of coffee as no kettle or hot water. the door handle on my room was falling off, had to use deadbolt anytime I was in the room as the only other person on the premises was a male guest and I didn't feel safe. no breakfast the next day, just stale croissant and stale cereal from days previously....... The bed in room 3 was terrible.

Nothing much because we were confused about things and there was simply nobody there to answer our concerns. There was a landline phone number to call but that did not work. I sent a message for someone to phone me and that did not happen.
That someone was on the premises to speak to us about our concerns about the access into the property and the dangers because the access was only one way in and if someone was coming in while we were going out of the property someone would have had to back out and this was out of the question because the little road could only take one car.
It was very disappointing. We tried to have some breakfast but could not work any of the facilities. There should have been instructions.

The 1800 style, nice garden.
Difficult to find reception in the dark. Some bugs in the shower.

Tranquil and convenient location, room was very comfortable and we liked it a lot. The surrounding areas were lush and green, pleasant to take a lovely stroll. The homeowners/managers were lovely, a joy to get to know and interact with.
Nothing!

When stepping onto the property I was immediately charmed by how unique and antique the estate was. a beautiful wood living room with piano and fireplace, a veranda with breakfast dining tables and self serving bar with water and teas, and the room itself was so lovely. I want to come back in the summertime and take lovely photos outside in the gardens and by the pool. My friend and I were both impressed to say the least.
the breakfast tables and dinnerware were gorgeous, but the orange juice that was available was sour and I’m pretty sure had gone bad. No other complaints really though.

I liked the access to the room being external. Bedding was clean. Had ensuite.
Room wasn’t sound proof could hear people in room next to us and people walking done the hallway in the house.

The hosts where absolutely lovely especially the cat! Very sweet and nice place. Great breakfast with fresh eggs in a cute dining room. One of the most comfortable beds I have ever slept in. Pool was very nice. Gardens and surrounding acreage was just stunning!! Late check out 11.30-12pm!! Loved it 😊
Kettle was a little tricky to use as it was in the cupboard and power switch wasn't. But had a full breakfast area with urn. A few tiles near the pool where a bit broken.

Absolutely friendly hosts! Great place and well maintained. The building and entire place is a piece of art preserved in time.

Lovely decor with fridge and coffee making in a large period house with several rooms and share lounge and library. Excellent for gathering a family or friend group.

Great hidden gem of a place.
Barb was very friendly.
Reason we chose this place as it was close to relatives we were visiting.
Loved the history and gardens.
Had a nice cold beverage on the verandah as we enjoyed the garden views.
Was ever so quiet and we enjoyed a continental breakfast.

Stunning place inside and out. Like staying in a fairytale. Super nice Lady running the place and they had everything you could ever need.
We loved everything.

Beautiful property with very comfortable self contained room. Having my dog, I had a door to the garden which was very convenient.
The only thing that would have made it perfect, would be a fenced yard for my dog.
8.0
Beautiful surroundings, lovely old class house, lots of period furniture. Breakfast was great. overall, a very pleasant and relaxing stay in wonderful gardens. Would be fabulous in the summertime with the flowers and pool etc.
Wifi did not work in my room. I had to go outside or in the breakfast room to get wifi. Could have been cleaner, a bit of dust around in my bedroom, microwave plate was dirty, however still a great place to stay.
