Best hostel experience ever!

Atma is the best hostel I have ever stayed in. Staff is very nice and friendly, everything is clean and organized, rooms are very comfortable and the hostel has a lot of common areas that are charming and make you feel at home. Location super close to the beach, full equiped kitchen, coffee and tea offered in the mornings, and also towels are provided. To make it even better, an amazing yoga studio with everyday classes and a nice space for storing surfboards and wetsuits. I felt like every little detail was thought with much care and definitely will come back.

Best hostel I have stayed in so far in Peru!

The hostel is really great. Well equipped big kitchen, lots of communal areas where you can hang out and socialize, but also enough more cosy private spaces with hammocks. Dorm was spacious, clean, comfy bed and had curtains on the beds. Only 1 minute away from the ocean and one of the best hostels I have stayed in so far in Peru!!

Brilliant hostel

A brilliant hostel in Huanchaco! Super cosy super friendly staff. Many people stay for long periods of time which adds to the comfortable environment. We broke the bed by accident, and the staff were really cool about it - they fixed it without additional costs.

Exceptional

Our favourite hostel in 4 months in South America by far! Bedrooms are quiet and comfortable, shared bathrooms and kitchen always SUPER clean and loads of comfy communal areas to be social or relax. Incredible surfing of different levels 5 mins walk away, great daily yoga classes for very cheap prices and such friendly staff/volunteers. We loved all the little touches like free coffee and tea, filtered water, a TV to watch Netflix with other travellers and loads of games or books. The hostel was really well equipped with advice for local activities too. A must stay, even if you don't surf but want to relax or break up a long bus journey.

Quick little stop over to see Huanchaco on my way to the airport from Puerto Chicama.

Nice property. I was in and out for a night but had two yoga sessions and a nice walk on the beach.

The room I stayed in was rather cave like. No ventilation. It needed a fan or something to move the air. I think it was room 5, but not sure.

Superb

Amazing, unsuspecting hostel - we weren’t expecting much but were very pleasantly surprised. The hostel had unlimited coffee in the morning, a great atmosphere, cheap yoga and loads of places to chill. We had a great few days relaxing.

Great spot for surf/yoga and chill

This was our first place to stay in Peru and it was soo amazing! The morning yoga, super nice staff, rooftop view, cutest turtle in backyard and so nice little spots to chill around the whole house. And as well nice clean room :) recommend and would stay again.

5 nights in private room

I was a solo traveler who booked for 2 nights and stayed for 5 in a private room. I wanted someplace close to the beach and it was a 2 minute walk. The room and hostel were clean. It had a nice terrace and a courtyard where you could eat or just hang out. The kitchen was available for cooking and had storage for your items. Hot water with decent pressure for showers. Staff were friendly and helpful.

A lot of guests get up early to surf and the noise carries throughout the hostel. The WiFi can be a little spotty.

Lovely, clean Hostel with a great kitchen and atmosphere

very clean dorms, bathrooms and well equipped kitchen! lovely owner and staff and a nice atmosphere. i felt so comfortable and couldn’t have wished for anything more. will definitely come again to this peaceful place!! thanks for the best stay i had so far during my trip!

The hostel is very clean The kitchen is well equipped The staff is always there to help you (and they are really nice), Very close to the beach if you want to go surfing There are lots of places to hang out in the hostel for quiet days It’s a very social place The yoga is amazing as well

Perfect place to chill or surf - or do both. And there are several archeological sites nearby too.

Great atmosphere among travelers, wonderful place to cook your own meals, and eat them. Loved the different spaces to sit and hang, hammocks, swinging chair, roof top, verandas… all with ocean view.

We had a very nice stay at Atma Hostels. We arrived with the night bus in Trujillo at 5 am and we were even allowed to get directly to our room because it was empty anyway. Thanks for the nice time!!

Beautiful, cosy and friendly hostel with yoga classes

One of the best hostel I have been to ! the place is really beautiful, terraces with hammocks on each floor, the rooms are cosy and spacious, hot water in the shower. The kitchen is well equipped and clean ! And the best of all are the yoga classes !

Felt like home. Highly recommend it!

It was a very nice place to stay. We felt so comfortable there. The hosts are so kind, the kitchen is totally gorgeous for cooking and prepare some food for the next day. We loved the atmosphere there with the yoga room, the details and the house turtle!

The shower hasn't enough pressure but it was pretty warm

Comfortable bed. Nice space for washing and drying clothes. Excellent chill areas. Nice kitchen. Quiet. Safe. Super clean all the time. Fantastic hatha yoga classes.

A great rest and a very good vibe

This is a hostel that understands the basic needs of travelers. A clean room, a hot shower, a side light in the room, curtains, a table and free coffee in the morning. There's really inexpensive yoga classes, a lot of space to hang out and a cute turtle in the yard. People were respectful for noise in the evening. There's even a space to leave your surf board and wetsuit! There's no better place in Huanchaco

Just that there's no view of the ocean from the rooms.
