Nice social hostel

Really nice place to socialize with people, daily free trekking tours where you can easily connect with people . Every bed had their own fan. Very clean place.

the beds are a bit short ( could be a problem if you are 1,90cm) but it's just a very small minus

Superb

The staff were all very friendly and helpful, offers laundry and nearby ride services for a small fee. Surprisingly clean for the amount of people staying there, and never had a problem with waiting for shower/toilet facilities.

With being in the centre of Tahana Rata, there's street noise and dogs in the evening and late nights, but that's to be expected. Just a little narrow to pass people between beds and communal/washrooms; got to keep things tidy.

very nice, social and clean place - they offer a lot of advice and help with tours, bus tickets, night market transfer etc! also, you can do a tour with other hostel people together or a guided tour :-) would definitely come back!

Good stay 👍

The owner Mr.Alfred is a very friendly guy... nice chatting with him during my 2D1N stay here. Enjoying my day here while waiting for the rain to stop to go to the bus stop for returning home back to KL and the staffs here are very helpful 👍

Room no curtains to cover the balcony...so... when you get out after bathing make sure you dress up 🤭or else you will have to expose to the public outside the balcony 😁

Very social hostel, with comfortable beds. Staff is great, helpful, and always cleaning the space. I was in the female dorm and there are windows that face the street. I did not find it to be too noisy at night, and slept fine with earplugs. No soap provided, not a huge deal but would be nice!

Showers were cold. Staff was helpful in trying to fix the issue, but it was cold again minutes later.

Not the hostels fault but most of the hiking trails in the area were actually closed so there was only one decent one that you were able to do

Great, social, informative

Nice pods, give you a private space. Group walk was fun. Honest info on tours they provide. Great common rooms (multiple so always a space that suits what you look for). Social atmosphere while also having quiet spots. Free water

Maybe some more toilets/showers, 4 each for ~24p, tho I never had to wait

Really nice hostel, super clean, good vibes. Everything made to allow you to meet people. Beds are comfortable, drinking water for free. Possibility to organise tours of cameron highlands

Rooms close to common area so you won't get the quieter place to sleep, but it's a hostel so you get what you choose:)

The dorm is composed of lots of small separate compartments so we don't really feel like in a dorm, it is more quiet and each one has his own space. The hostel is clean comfortable and the staff is nice

Highly Recommended

This is the best hostel to stay in if you are visiting Cameron Highlands as I cannot recommend this place enough. The beds are comfy and everything is really clean and well kept. They plan free group hikes everyday and can help you plan your own and get you the permits required. They also host special events almost every other day or so making it even more fun. Best of all, the staff is great as well. Having a water filter to use for free is a nice perk.

The rooms themselves can feel hot at night since there's no A/C but still not a bad dealbreaker.

Good place to handouts

1. Constantly maintained in clean condition, assisted by part timers. 2. Strict rules & adherence. 3. Good location. Located at old/new Tanah Rata town.Surrounded by groceries shops, eateries 4. Nice cooling weather. 5. Ample facilities to relax.

1. Very noisy if choose the dormitory. Can hear snoring sound, cracking capsules when one move around in bed. Phone holder no sound proofing, constantly can hear sound when one put anything in it. Perhaps one should choose those private 6 beded or 8 beded room (family unit)with attached bathroom for privacy. 2. Ventilation is bad. Doors to the 40+ capsules dormitory is constantly close even when the Cafe hall is close/empty. Door should hv been open for better Ventilation. Thus the dorms is a Covid heaven for viruses etc. Capsules is very small & cramped, unless choose the pricer 6/8 bedding rooms.

i love the facilities. well maintained and nice staff. the toilets are nice. love the bidets and shower.

the location is ideal. near to all u ever need. restaurants, banks, marts and the staff also allow is to use the common area to do prayers.

Good

Good lounge facilities, free hot and cold water, TV room with free Netflix. Fresh air circulation around the public space and no smoking in all areas.

No breakfast served during my stay, was looking forward to it.

Exceptional

I have a pleasant stay here and even extended for few more days. The host was really generous to help me up, fetch me over from neighborhood town where the bus has stopped me in a wrong point. Everything was excellent. The staff was kind enough, clean atmosphere, and comfortable bed.

I have nothing much, and wonderful stay so far.
