A magnificent hotel where we felt special and pampered

It was so beautiful and also quiet. Excellent food and the staff couldn’t do enough to help

Wonderfull days in a beautiful place!

Very nice and helpful staff, beautiful location, top Restaurant, everything in walking distance , luxury beds

Bathroom to small and no space for cosmetic , but in room is a table for makeup. Umbrellas on the breakfast terrasse would be nice , its to hot to sit outside without.

Amazing stay in the best Lisbon location, and in a Palace. Service is on point.

Best experience to discover Lisbon. The property is impressive, in an old Palace. The staff is focused on every single small detail to make the stay a wonderful experience. Room was very very comfortable, the tailor made breakfast every morning absolutely terrific. The hotel has one of the best rooftop of the city and the view is to die for. The location is perfectly , beautiful view of the old city and the river and so close by to all the action. I will definetely go back again in the future.

My palace home away from home

First, it is in an exceptionally beautiful place and everything is exquisitely appointed from the lobby, shared breakfast room restaurant, rooftop and yes even the rooms.

From the moment we arrived we were treated with great respect and friendliness. The service was very personal and the intimacy of the hotel was excellent. Our room was wonderful and the staff exceptional. Thank you we will definitely stay again.

The personell was extremely friendly and helpful. The location is perfect to visit the city. Excellent breakfast!

The bathroom layout of my room (7.5) was a bit inconvenient as there was no shower-glas and once you used the shower everthing would be wet, other than that it was great.

An amazing stay at a very special hotel!

The property is modern, has amazing Character, our room was extremely spacious and the view from the sky bar/restaurant was really nice. The breakfast was served overlooking the pool and river, and was so unique Al a Carte menu. Could not recommend enough! Our room had complimentary wine and cakes served. Our room was on street level (Arch Room) and we could sit on the balcony having room service cocktails whilst watching the buzz of the square.

I would struggle to find fault with anything.

Historic luxury boutique hotel with fantastic rooftop views of Lisbon.

fantastic location, small & boutique . staff very helpful . Went above & beyond to make our stay perfect . pre arrival communication from hotel excellent.

booking.com advertise all rooms with same pictures so we didn’t get the preferred room with city & river view . However hotel managed to move us after 1 night into the room we booked . we recommend clarifying room with hotel before arrival.

The best hotel I've stayed in, everything was perfect.

The Building itself is beautiful, impressed even before we set foot inside. The palace is tastefully restored with a light touch to preserve its charm. The staff were very friendly and very attentive. We got a room upgrade which was a nice surprise. There were delicious little pastries and chocolates with a whole bottle of prosecco sent up to the room, all complementary. The view out into the square in front and the port in the distance was brilliant. The bed was the biggest bed I have ever slept in! We came back in the evening after room service to more pastries, each evening. The breakfast was impressive! the food just keeps coming. Make sure to get a drink on the roof top bar to start or end your night!

Very attentive staff. Beautiful building and interior decor.

Very noisy surrounding area. I explicitly requested for a quiet room while booking, which should have been provided promptly. Unfortunately, I had to complain in the middle of the night because of the noise from a nearby disco, so that the hotel could provide me with a slightly quieter room.

One of the best hotels we have stayed in for a long time and the staff are great.

The staff were so friendly and helpful that it made the stay special. The breakfast was lovely with a good selection and even goes until 12 noon. The bedroom was beautiful and the bed is one of the best we have slapped on in a hotel.

More lights in the bathroom for my wife to put on her makeup.

A Hotel in an xcellent location, with beautiful design, brilliant facilities and fantastic staff.

Staff were welcoming, helpful and knowledgeable. The views from the Hotel over Lisbon were comprehensive and wonderful. The food in the restaurant was excellent. Just a lovely and charming experience in a wonderful part of Lisbon.

the hotel and room (suite) were absolutely wonderful

we had booked a suite for 1 night to celebrate the fact that we got engaged the day before. The price was substantial: 1100 per night. Everything was amazing till the moment that we were informed that the pool was not going to be accessible in the afternoon due to a private event. We were not informed beforehand, nor while booking the suite, nor when we checked in. Basically me and my fiancee were asked to leave the pool. Other than apologies nothing else was offered as a compensation. So our stay, instead of being a celebration of our engagement, ended up being a disappointment.
