Very nice apartment. Perfect for a stay by visiting Weimar.

Location is good and the elevator in the building is quite interesting
The room was not that clean and as soon as I entered I smelled stink of the drain, for which the only solution would be to leave the window all the time half open. The room provides the bare minimum, just the towels and hand soap. Since I arrived in a Sunday when all shops are closed I asked the reception of the hotel if they could provide me a showergel, but they had none and suggested me to use the hand soap. Pretty unbelievable in my opinion that a 4 stars hotel does not provide showergel. The bed in the single room I took is a bit difficult to reach, not advised to not-so-young people.

Location is great
The 8qm Bach was very hot in June. It seems more appropriate for other milder seasons in the year.
Coffee filters and an electric water boiler are provided but these almost make no sense if there are no tea bags or instant coffee. Every place I have stayed in Weimar offers this small gesture, but big welcome comfort.
There is no information about WiFi in the room. I had to call the hotel desk at another related location to obtain the login information.
Key pick up and drop off (plus check out) is at another location about 350m from Goethezimmer.
The building is a beautiful landmark and the vintage elevator doors need to be shut until they click, which was not done by other guests, causing the elevator to be stuck at ground level. I had to walk down 5 flights of stairs to leave the building. Not so good when you are in a hurry and definitely not a recommended place for disabled or small children and elderly persons.

The keys where located in a complete different place. That was not the problem, the problem was that in the apartment building there was a concert and when we asked about the apartment, they told us that there were no apartment there. We spend more than an hour between the keys and finding the place, it was raining really hard.
The soap container was broken, when we used it fail down.
Other than that, we love the place, the view, the music, the beds, the windows, all.

Super apartment on the upper floor of a former GDR State bank building. Well designed, very spacious apartment with two ensuite bedrooms and open kitchen/living area. Also very clean. Fabulous roof terrace with views over the city. Very good value for money!
The swing door providing access to the apartments and roof terrace bangs shut very loudly, sometimes late in the night. Although the design of the apartment was great, the access to the other apartments means there were constantly people walking past our large window. Despite the curtains, it didn't feel very private. The bedroom areas were fine though.

Style was nice, especially vinyl player with classical music set; has a terrace on top of the historical building - nice view; beds are comfortable & each has a separate bathroom; sofa could be opened so fit up to 6 people; modern kitchen
Last floor, could be hot in the summer
