It was told that, late arrival after 19:00 hrs will be charged upto €5 per person. This is not acceptable, as Backpacking Travellers like us come with a day plan and we only look for a night stay. Having paid the rent plus the city tax and the penalization!!! For a night stay is simply ridiculous.
This is a big questionable disclaimer. This needs to be flagged in your description of the place.

Very clean, and very good price. Thanks.
Was a bit cold, I wore three jackets and could sleep in night. I was lucky to be the only one in the 6 bed-room. I think it would have felt really crowded if there were indeed 6 people in that room. No kitchen facility. There was a restaurant right there in hostel for food/drink

We were very tired after a long day of hiking and just want to get the room key and check in quick. But the receptionist let us wait for a while because she had to talk one of her colleague. I 've just realize I only have to pay the Kurtaxe for only 2.5eur /person. But turned out we paid 15 eur for 5 people. Why?

Very nice surroundings. Watterfall, lakes, hikes. The people are nice and welcoming, and very helpful.
Breakfast is not "not included" (in the sens of "you can pay extra for it"), it's not available, which is *fine*. But there should be a space where one can make their *own* breakfast (an electric kettle is a minimum, a fridge for fresh produce is a usual feature).
But most troubling for me is that there is no space apart from the rooms where people sleep. One of the *most* important aspects of a hostel is a common room: the whole point is to meet new people, and discuss plans and compare experiences. There was no way of doing that. There is just the room and an outside seating area which, in Bavaria, might be a bit cold at night. A common place where people can meet, even small (preferably small, in fact, so that they have to speak with each other :P), is an absolute must, in my opinion.
I can understand closing the restaurant bit, but even just leaving the entrance part open would be a great improvement.

Very clean. Super friendly staff. EXCELLENT TASTE IN MUSIC IN THE CAFE!!!
The property was fine. The problem is Booking.com seems to think an hour and some change is close to Neuschwanstein Castle. There were TONS of places closer to the Castle. Shame on you Booking.com.

I like the localization and kitchen equipment.
I think it is too expensive for such conditions, one bathroom for 11 persons, in the room for 6 people there is any wardrobe, just small boxes. Moreover the guy at the reception does not speak English and there was no possibility to get more complex information than basic check in.

Easy to find. There is a big sign on the house that says ' Cafe and Hostel'. Well maintained facility. Not so much in the town but Supermarket near the train station and there was a mobile kebab shop in the car park.
Unable to contact by phone. It just repeats recorded messages and ask you to contact by e-mail at the end. However it looks like someone is always at the place. It is a cafe and probably the owner lives in the same building.

Staying in Berg Blick hostel was an experience in itself. I planned to arrive initially for one night with no expectations and see what happens next. I arrived at a well-kept and charming hostel in a beautiful town right next to the spectacular lake Kochelsee. The hostel is run by a kind, hard-working and light-hearted and fun-loving young woman who gives all customers a benevolent treatment and beyond just a service. she is smiling and doing every little thing with patient and love. The hostel itself is clean tidy and nice, the staff was excellent and the cafe located in the hostel which she also manages is excellent and delicious, and the vibe there is so nice surrounded by nice people ans stuff. Needless to say, I decided to stay for a few more nights..Warmly recommend coming and staying in this magical place that I was so happy to get to and made my whole journey perfect! Thank you so much!

The location and the staff were awesome.
Everything was superb. The check in process was a bit complicated but I guess it was because we booked at the last moment.
