Nice romantic getaway for a few nights but wish they had kept the patio door closed

Private cottage with close proximity to restaurant, book cafe and wine tasting all on the premises. Nice spacious room.

Upon arrival, the door leading to the garden grassy area overlooking the patio was left wide open. I assume it was meant to encourage us to enjoy the outdoor dining area, however we found a bee in the bathroom that just wouldn’t leave. It disturbed us throughout the evening and it later went through the ducted air conditioning and we heard it buzzing from the bed. The ducted air conditioning was also loud throughout the night, making a rattling sound. I am also allergic to mosquitoes and the door left wide open did not have a fly screen protector.

Great place to stay. Just needs a few more tweaks to make it even better.

Friendly staff. The room was warm and comfortable. Great view out the window.

The wrong room was cleaned when we arrived so we had to change rooms. Breakfast could have had more options. The steak at dinner wasn't cooked the way we asked for.

Perfect!

Luxurious living in the cottage. Everything is amazing and I appreciate the attention to details. Place is dead silent at night for peaceful sleep. Cellar and book store on the property is great for food drink and photos. Friendly and playful doggies from the host. Nice walk by the creek and in the vineyard. Close to tourist town Berrima and shopping at Mittagong.

Beautiful and relaxing

We had a beautiful stay here. The cabins were spacious and beautiful and the bath and bathroom were so lovely. The breakfast exceeded our expectations and it was lovely to eat it in the lovely vine room.

The accommodations is beautiful and far surpassed our expectations. Location is far enough away but close enough to Berrima to not be inconvenient. Lovely facilities and surrounds

Breakfast was amazing more that I was expecting. The place has a wonderful feel with an incredible view.

The service at the restaurant during lunch has room for improvement. The staff although were very attentive and good at their jobs weren’t the most friendly. As for the stay there was no bad experience.

We had a lovely relaxing stay. We will definitely come back.

Breakfast served was good. Coffee was superb. Staff who served us was very polite, attentive and promptly responds to our request with a smile. The lady who served us at the cellar for wine, she was very friendly, helpful and we love her welcoming smile. We stayed in the studio cottage that is so spacious, clean, beautiful furnitures and decors, well maintained and all bathroom and kitchen essentials were provided. Please keep this up as this is the strongest point of your accommodation. We do not come back to properties where we paid big bucks and look good on websites but in reality they are not maintained, unhygienic, chipping paints, stained carpets, etc. We were impressed and recommended the location to friends who are all excited after seeing the photos we sent. We love the food at the Book Barn. So fresh and tasty!

The aircon makes noise when we turned on the heater. It stops and goes. During the day is fine as there’s noise from tv. Thought I should report so you can check. This did not turn us off as there are so many positive experiences during our stay.
