Perfect place to wind down, peaceful, close to town, absolute gem of a place!

Cosy stylish apartment, with a very nice bed and lovely shower. A very quiet area, close to town. The hosts were very generous and responsive.

Hosts were good with communication about entering the property and the place met our needs.

Loved the iron, the place was cute. It was comfortable and for our purposes a good location and the facilities we needed. Good price too.

There is some water damage in the shower area. I didn't think it was clear that is was at the back of a property with a house and owners on it. We had to walk past their kitchen to get to the place, which didn't bother me but hubby found unusual. You could also hear a little through the wall, which made you aware of making noise on our end as well.

Wonderful, welcoming, clean, enjoyable stay!

Mayra is an excellent host. Very friendly and welcoming. Collecting the keys was super easy. The facilities were very homely and created a warm welcoming feeling. It was clean and well laid out. I couldn’t enjoy breakfast as I was leaving very early but I have no doubt that it would have been of great standard. Thank you Mayra!

Great value, perfect for a short stay.

The host was super friendly in her communications and was also very prompt in replying to any questions. The accommodation was of great value and was perfect for a short stay. It was clean and had the necessary kitchen wares for a couple of days' getaway. Off-leash dog park located not too far from the accommodation. A few minutes drive from the town centre and walking trails.

Personally, I am not a fan of open-plan living between bedroom/bathroom, and staying in a studio room that is attached to the host's house. However, these were not really problematic here as I was travelling alone and the host's family was very quiet and was rarely heard through the wall. The bed was a bit lumpy, but not a big issue.

Amazing!

Mayra was absolutely lovely and very welcoming. The retreat is so beautiful and feels like a home away from home. Mayra has covered off everything, even had a bottle of wine in the fridge for us. Would highly recommend staying here. If we had found this retreat sooner, we would have stayed longer!

It was a cosy clean and friendly place which was central to all the places we went to. Great !

The location was perfect. It was easy to navigate our way around Margaret River and get to all the places we went to. It was a cosy place to be in and just the right size for the trip we were on.

There is nothing that was not to our liking. Maybe more kitchen facilities but we really didn't stay and eat any complex meals at the accommodation. Not anything of great mention was needed.

The studio was clean

Totally misrepresented. It was a 10-minute drive from the sea, 2 k from the shopping centre, it was a granny flat/studio at the back of a property in a densely populated residential estate. Just as well we had a GPS as it is difficult to find.

would definitely not stay there again. not sure how it rated as a 9 out of 10 by Bookings previously

drain has a bad smell. decking is dangerous- narrow and steep. no handrail and probably non compliant. toilet was not private - no door and not a solid wall between bed area and bathroom area.

The property was pretty good. A nice studio room (Granny flat) Great facilities..was clean & friendly.

The small table & chairs on the front (outside) could easily fall from the edge a good half a metre or so..needs fixing..

A lovely place to ay and a good base for exploring Margaret River region, from Yallingup to Augusta.

Nice quiet neighbourhood; not too far by car from Margaret River town centre. Friendly and courteous owner/host. Comfortable firm king size bed. Neat & tidy and nicely decorated room. Crockery & cutlery for two. Large roomy double shower (could add a "safety" hand rail that could double as a towel rack). Excellent lighting and airconditioner. Thanks to Mayra for a great stay.

No negatives from our perspective. The separation of ablution facilities from the rest of the studio, as some others have commented, is unusual but should not be an issue for a longer term couple. Suggestions (only) to owners: 1) Perhaps an extra step from backyard lawn to studio decking. 2) Perhaps sun tinting the double sliding glass door / entry to studio and adding a fly screen door. 3) Perhaps add a safety rail (towel rack) inside double shower along long wall. 4) Perhaps extra shading/trees on/around decking for morning sun onto table & chairs OR swap table chair location with decorative planters at other end of decking.

It looked very pretty BUT we would not have booked a studio with a toilet in the bedroom

The room was nicely decorated and the owner was charming

It was quite dysfunctional as the toilet was not in a separate room and there was a noisy fridge right next to the bed, which was rather uncomfortable.

We had a wonderful relaxing break staying at this well maintained homely property.

The property was located in a quiet area approx 5 mins drive from the main high street bars restaurants and shops. The property was exceptionally clean , perfect size and very well maintained. It had a very peaceful feeling when sitting out on the decking area having breakfast or an evening drink listening to the local birds chattering. The host , Mayra was very welcoming and catered for all our needs. I would recommend staying at this property if you have a car and are looking for a quiet relaxing break with home comforts.

it was self-contained, great location, clean & comfortable.

There was no door between the bedroom & the toilet, the bbq was on the host family’s deck & the photo on the website was of their house not of the unit we were staying in. a few adjustments would make this place perfect.
