This property is not as advertised. The view is non existent.
The beds are very small & uncomfortable, the sheets on the bed are stained yellow. There are no blankets provided on the beds.
The beach towels are very old and stained with orange stains.
I tried to reach out to the property manager 3 different ways with zero response. There were no keys left in the villa & I tried to inform her via text, with no response.
My Husband & I were looking for a comfortable short stay for 3 nights & I and this is was not the ideal villa for that.

Positives: easy access, well divided, beach chairs and cooler available, AC works well and the location is quiet.
Negatives: advertized view is gone due to new building in front of balcony, property upkeep is lacking (kitchen tools are scarce and need to be replaced), was not very clean (dust bunnies in the corner of walls, inside/outside of cupboards, sofas are dirty or stained, floor/shower were not clean).
Property owner was unresponsive to inquiries prior to stay.

Great location on Jacob’s Ladder. Clean and spacious. Bedroom a/c cooled entire apartment.
Would return again.

Perfect simplistic condo! Can walk from Cruz Bay but it’s not easy at all (hills).

Location is easily accessible to beaches and minutes from Cruz Bay. Home is clean and has everything you need. We really appreciated the use of the beach chairs and cooler. Owner was easy to reach if needed.

This property on St. John was better than most VRBOs I've stayed at in the USVI, I was very pleased. There were no blankets for the beds, and there was no toilet paper or soaps in the bathroom. The blankets weren't such a problem, but we did have to purchase our own toilet paper.

The apartment itself was better than the pictures make it look. A very spacious balcony allows you to have breakfast or cocktails, enjoying the breeze and the sounds of the island. The bedrooms are comfortable and cool, the living room is much bigger than it appeara in the photos, and the place was clean. Unfortunately, although it looked close to town on the map, it was not. St. John is so hilly, and this might have been walkable if it weren't, but since it is, you need a car to stay here. We did not have one, but luckily my daughter lives on the island and was willing to shuttle us places.
I had a little but of trouble getting in touch with the property manager, but I visited over a holiday weekend, so she might have been away.

I’d like to thank the owner for sharing the property with us. We were comfortable in this 2 bedroom unit. The kitchen came in handy for breakfast and dinner. The balcony had a nice view and the space was amazing. The communication was above and beyond. Overall very happy with this experience.

My 14 year old nephew and I stayed here for 5 nights for a scuba trip last week. We used Shavon's directions and was able to find the unit in the dark. It was clean and worked well for the two of us. We had lunch on the deck after diving and before heading to the beach. The kitchen is lacking any baking dishes (trying to make cookies for snacking). There were beach towels, beach chairs and a couple of coolers for our use. We called and requested a couple more bath towels and Hasani was over first thing the next morning with them for us. It's about a 10 minute drive to Mongoose Junction area.
There are definitely NO BEDBUGS!

First there are NO BED BUGS! So ignore the other two reviews. There were a few mosquitoes but if you keep the door closed to the balcony you can keep them out. The location from Cruz Bay is great. House was very clean and comfortable. We had everything we needed for the beach (chairs, towels, coolers). Water pressure is low but that is just how it works on the islands when water tanks have to be filled. Don't flush the toilet before taking a shower. Also, turn on the hot water in the sink till it gets hot to speed up the shower getting hot. Once we did this, we had great water pressure. Shavon answered my calls and texts in a timely manner and was very helpful. Would stay here again!

There were BED BUGS! My friend and I both have a multitude of bites from staying here. Luckily he noticed them before we left so we could avoid bringing them home with us.

Never again will I book a vacation rental on VRBO through Orbitz, at least. The place was disgusting. Yellow spots all over the bed sheets, pillows and blankets (if you can guess what they are). The place had 2 bedrooms and because the bigger room had worse yellow spots than the smaller room, we decided to sleep together in the smaller room after putting bath towels on the bed to lay on. Then the next morning we found out that my sister got bitten by bed bugs. We contacted the owner and she sent someone to bring some new bed sheets but did not replace them for us. Now I came home with bed begs in my luggage and it’s spreading in my own bed too!!! Gross!!!
Parking is horrible also. There are only 2 spots to park and if you’re lucky, you can park at the first spot. If you park in the second spot, good luck with getting out of there. They should destroy some of the walls at the gate to make more room to back up.

The property is a few minutes drive from Mongoose Junction and the northern shore beaches, but nothing notable is within feasible walking distance, given the narrow streets, steep hills, and limited sidewalks. It is within the location circle on the Vrbo map, but in the south end, so I'm not sure the distances to various attractions are accurate. The address is not on Google Maps. Shavon gave us directions, but we had a little trouble finding it. Google Maps can generate a code from a pinpoint location that acts like a street address, so I suggest that Shavon give renters that option. I gave her the Google Maps code for the house, so feel free to request that from her to use Google Maps GPS to navigate.
The property was clean and, though not huge, was plenty big enough for my dad and me. We loved the porch and the sunset views. As other reviewers mentioned, there is a tree on the property that blocks much of the ocean view. If that tree were removed, it would be an awesome view!
Parking was a bit challenging. There are two parking stalls. Shavon said to park in the stall "straight ahead," which seemed to be the one on the left, but a renter of another unit said Shavon told him to park to the left, so that created confusion. We let the other renter park on the left and we parked on the right, which made it a bit difficult to get out of the driveway.
There is no washer and dryer, but there was a generous amount of towels for our use. Some of the towels were stained, but I think they were clean. No beach towels. When we arrived the house was clean. The beds were not especially comfortable, but not too bad. There were two air conditioner units, one in the main bedroom and one in the living area (from which air flows to all other parts except the main bedroom).
Shavon was overall a good host, but her communication was not great at times. My text to her asking where the remote for the cable box was went unanswered. Our last full day there, the water pressure (which was always awful) dropped to virtually nothing in the morning. I texted Shavon about it, but again got no response. When we returned home in the afternoon there was literally no water. Shavon did not answer her phone when I called her, but I got in touch with the secondary contact who said a water truck was on the way. Apparently, the water comes from a tank and needs to be replenished. Running water is kind of a big deal, so I would have expected better communication about this.

Good value and size. Decent location. But property manager communication could be improved.

Estate Enighed is a great spot for a couple or small family. The location is quite hard to find initially but after spending a few days on Island it was very convenient as it is close to the ferry in Cruz Bay as well as the local grocery store.
The condo was very clean and has a nice porch with a view of the water, besides a tree blocking some of your views. I would highly suggest cutting that tree down as it would turn it into a Million Dollar view! It has multiple A/C units so it was comfortable.
One thing to note is that they only provide towels and toiletries on the first day of your trip. I would bring extra towels in your plan on staying more than a few days (we had 4 people stay and I think there were 4 or 5 towels) and make sure you stop at the grocery store to get the essentials you need for your stay. We had to buy toilet paper, trash bags, hand soap..etc.
Overall it was great and the property manager responded back to all my questions almost immediately. I would stay at the propery again.

Very nice property on the hill. Very clean and quiet place. We loved it. The shower water runs slow. The only issue was to how to find the property location since all maps gave wrong locations. The manager did send the instructions but without any street names on the roads, very hard to find especially for the first timers in St. John with the scary roads (hills). But no street name is common for St. John, not due to the property. Eventually a nice local lady, Jackie helped us find the property.

Overall the condo was very comfortable. There was a nice large television, which never worked our entire stay. Spoke with property manager the first day and was told the Roku remote was broken and he was waiting for another. Apparently it never came. He suggested we use a phone app which didn’t work either. It would be nice to have an information book in condo with WiFi password (I had to call for that), trash instructions, television channels (if it had worked!), etc.
