Very central and easy parking to rear although had to pay for that.
Rooms were modern and clean
Pigeons noisy in the morning

Location was what we wanted.
We arrived Sunday to be told the bar and restaurant closed at 5 ! So had to eat elsewhere in the evening . Front of hotel locked at 5 so had to go through fire door at the back , which to access you walk down an alley way with no lighting , not safe at all .
Bathroom very grubby , such a shame as room was small and compact but had what you needed.

The hotel was lovely location was perfect our room was clean and of a good size. The staff were friendly and very helpful.
Very dark to access rear of property when returning after an evening out.

Breakfast ordering on the Sunday morning was strange.
We arrived at the time instructed but it appears the team wasn’t ready.

Probably the best accommodation in Haverhill very comfortable great location
Could have had a fridge
We had a great view but my daughters was not
They could tidy up the roof for a better view
8.0
The hotel was extremely comfortable and spacious
The staff seemed to need training, no information on parking charges, restaurants in the vicinity, mention an allergy at breakfast, that didn’t get relayed to the kitchen.

Room was big. The check in process was so simple and easy. Breakfast was very good and the staff were lovely.
Nothing, it was lovely

Great breakfast
Great room
6.0
Rooms at the back of the bar/restaurant quiet and comfortable.
Breakfast simple but pleasant
On entering the premises I thought I was entering a wine bar/restaurant or even a night club. Strange to find an extension through the back with rooms that were clean and tidy. Probably a little expensive but I was given the self-catering apartment. Loud music and very dark put me off eating there.

I didn't look at the description throughly and was very please to find I had a whole apartment for less than the nearest corporate hotel would charge for just a room.
Breakfast was good with a different selection from the chain places.
Not the hotels fault but the pidgeons were a little annoying.

Hotel was located in the centre of town with parking available at the back of the property
8.0
How central it was and it suited out needs
Having the air con machine was perfect because the room was warm
The top part of the room had a lot of cobwebs all around the light and
The windows and blinds and the cups were to small for tea along with nothing to stir the sugar with
BUT I would still visit again because these are all minor details
8.0
Comfortable
Good breakfast but couldn't fry an egg properly
9.0
Breakfast was fine though staff could probably save themselves time by having a jug of orange juice as well as the milk so clients can serve themselves. Bathroom and room weee very clean, neat and well presented with towels stacked etc
It should be much clearer on the instructions that ‘nine jars’ is the name of the place to look for as unless you go to the car park first and right to the back of the car park you just would never find the place. It took us twenty minutes to find it and sat BACs of different types didn’t direct us to it very well. Perhaps what three words or similar may be helpful for people who aren’t local

Lovely new power shower suite
9.0
Great location for what we needed.
The room had not been cleaned properly before our arrival as the waste bin was still completely full of rubbish. We advised the staff, who did not see me overly interested.
5.0
The room was clean and comfortable and the staff friendly and helpful
The hotel claims to have a restaurant - it’s more of a fast food outlet and it’s closed on Sundays
The shower was an overhead type
The sink was too small to fill the kettle in
9.0
Very large room , Easy parking friendly staff, good value for money
A few cobwebs , partner does like spiders
6.0
Very nice spacious and clean room.
Good staff.
It’s disgusting having the breakfast included in the high price but not having the possibility to enjoy it on a Saturday or Sunday morning because it starts at 8:30am and I had to be somewhere both days at that time was refused even to have a cup of coffee at 8:15am because was 15 minutes early!!! Annoyed 😡😡😡

Room was nice, spacious and clean.
No aircon although there was a small portable unit. One of our windows wouldn't close fully, which meant we heard the people in the bar/beer garden below us until midnight. Room was pricey at £130 in comparison to others. Lack of toiletries and no hair dryer. Breakfast was limited, nothing special.

Bed was very comfy. Very good breakfast. Lovely shower
Option for Room service would be nice
8.0
Bed was comfy but could have been enhanced with 2 x pillows per person. Bathroom and Room very clean. Car park worked well.
The cook breakfast was excellent.
We had no mugs in our room so unable to have a tea or coffee in the morning, despite there being supplies. We didn't notice the night before as had spent little time in our room after arriving.
Shower caps need to be provided due to style of shower.
The supplies on breakfast table, ie Milk and juice were empty when we arrived down, but they were replaced.
We found hotel hard to find as Suffolk Hotel name was high upon building . At eye level, it was called another name.

Location was good
A little outdated

This is the 3rd time we have stayed with you.
Staff are lovely, my only complaint this time would be I told 2 members of staff that there was only 1 light in the bathroom
working. Once on the Thursday evening when we arrived and again on the Friday morning before we went out for the day.
by the time we checked out on the Sunday morning this still had not been rectified.

Music a little loud from the bar.

clean, tidy and comfortable bed
bathroom door wouldn’t shut
lights not working in bathroom
smart tv with no wi-fi!
no extra pillows

Breakfast was good but we did have to wait as there was only one person taking the orders and doing the cooking. So when we arrived for breakfast the person had just taken an order and wasn't about for about 15-20 minutes. Couldn't even have a drink.
The room had nice furniture but was not cleaned properly, just needs a deep clean. There were coffee stains on the wall by the coffee machine. Only one glass and coffee cup even though they knew it was booked for two people. The mini fridge didn't work. The bathroom just needed a good deep clean. If time was spent on a deep clean and touch up on paint work then the room would be great. Would have liked the options of more pillows but couldn't ask as we didn't arrive back to our room until the early hours.

Too many prior emails sent, all saying the same thing although email with key code to access room key never received and had to ask bar staff for key. Breakfast was good although service slow. Staff friendly. Music much too loud in bar/restaurant in evening
Loud music. Confusing room key access instructions
