The host of the guesthouse was super friendly. He gave me good restaurant recommendations and answered all of my questions. It was my first solo trip but I felt really comfortable there!

Nice enough place to stay for exploring Andong. It was a little far from the main areas but we found it to be walkable. The kitchen was clean and had good facilities and the room although on the smaller side was perfectly adequate and the bathroom facilities were good!
The mattress was wrapped in a plastic cover which they said was for COVID procedures but we didn't experience this in any of the other hostels, guesthouses or hotels we stayed in throughout Korea. It meant it was very noisy anytime anyone moved, almost like a giant crisp packet. There also wasn't a double sheet supplied for the mattress but two singles we had to use which didn't fully cover the mattress.

The hostel is in a good location and clean. You get what you pay for.
Unfortunately the owner is very rude and not really welcoming and friendly. It doesn't seem like he wants guests. They seem more like a burden. He will going to be very upset, when you are using more than one hanger (even if the room is empty and only you are using it) or if you don't place your slipper infront of the room door. He's also going to be very upset, when you drink water (!!) in the room.
All in all I wouldn't stay here again, even if it's cheap and clean.

Nice little place. Clean and comfortable and a nice small kitchen. Rock n roll themed hostel. Had some good chats here with the owner. Good supermarket up the road with some nice take away food and very close to buses to bus/train station. A good experience in general.
A bit more expensive than other hostels I stayed at in S. Korea but was made up for by the good vibes

The location is perfect to visit the main attractions. The host is super kind, he provided us many tips about place to visit and restaurants

Great host with lots of Intel about the area, offered me a drink
Great walk to the nearby bridge at night
Many rules

Good location, 5 min from downtown with all the restaurants.
Beds are good, despite what you can read on other comments, the fact that the protection is still on the matress isn't a problem at all.
Jason is a super nice host.
Quite small rooms, and humidity due to the size, but it's ok for a few days.

The room was clean, had its own bath and toilet. Breakfast was included, which is great at this cheap price. And Jason is an amazing host, very nice and will gladly tell you about the best spots to eat and visit. Overall amazing stay for the money.

Close to the center
Nice and clean facilities
Soon they will have a karaoke machine!

Can’t fault the staff who were super-friendly and helpful.
I appreciate this is a guesthouse and not a hotel however upon finding out that the private rooms lack basic features such as locks (PIN lock), a desk or chair, functioning air conditioning or even curtains. Because of this I checked out and stayed somewhere else.

Manager helpful & provide very good service eg suggested local food 👌

Really nice and informative employees! Clean hostel. Really nicely decorated place, free breakfast and the kitchen is very clean! I love the garden near the kitchen, so homey and relaxing. Location is about a 10 min walk to the centre but bus stop is a minute walk from the guesthouse. A must book when in Andong! Thank you
Nothing at all

The stay was very worth the money and in particular the beds were very comfortable and the room was clean. The service provided was responsive and helpful. There was also breakfast included.
It was a little difficult to locate the guesthouse.

Everything! This place is a perfect stop at Andong, so comfy and Jason is so nice!
A little bit out of the city center but it must be because they moved the train station out of the city. You got buses going everywhere around the corner so it'ok

The welcome, the facilities 👌
Shower is open so it puts water everywhere

All good! Thoughtful settings! Bed was comfortable with heater. General BnB breakfast. The location was prime. Walkable distance to a lot of shops, restaurants and attractions. Bus stop is 2 minutes away from the guesthouse which is convenient to hop on and get to the Andong Train Station. Luggage storage is available incase you arrive ahead of check in time. Would definitely recommend it!

The kitchen and lounge are so cosy and beautifully decorated, comfy beds with heated blankets, a real treat. Brand new, modern ensuite bathroom, everything's spotless and very well kept. 10 minutes walk to the city centre, easy to find, lovely garden, incredibly quiet, not a sound day and night.
The dorm is dark and way too small for 4 beds.
The place is too expensive and the breakfast is too basic for that money.

The owner was lovely and really helpful. Gave me recommendations for local places and helped me out. Bed and duvet were very comfy, bathroom was clean and toiletries supplied. Breakfast was good and times were flexible.
The bedroom was absolutely fine for just me as fortunately there was no one else staying at the same time, however I imagine it would be a bit cramped if the 4 bunks were all filled.

The location is great, super clean and the beds are comfortable. I really enjoy my staying there
The check-in was at 5 pm for me was really late compare to other places

clean room, quiet, comfy bed
attitude of the guest house manager was very unfriendly and rude especially towards foreigners. Didn't expect this in South Korea. Felt totally unwelcome and wondered how someone who earns money with this business can allow himself the rude attitude towards the guests. If you are Korean you might be treated differently. This is the only negative review I left for my stay during my trip Korea. Quite disappointing.
